  1. I think they're all pretty dross options in all reality. People think Gianni is quite a good player, but he is mostly too soft and misses too many defensive battles in my eyes. He has shown on his day he is a good player with some attacking intent, but shows too many inconsistencies for me. It would probably make sense to offer him a new contract which I would be surprised if he signed, as I assume he thinks he is bigger than us. Sam M has showed promise in some games this season, but I am not overly convinced by him either. PP is just well below par and Is suspect he will be shipped out this month, most likely back to Poland.
  2. TBH he did look a lot better earlier in the season in terms of his decision making etc. For me PP leaves in January alongside people like Hernadez. Time for a fresh start with a better quality of squad player needed.
  3. 1-0 win for me. Think it will be a lot tighter than people will imagine. We basically need to carry any momentum we've accrued now until the end of the season.
  4. No I would keep him where he is and playing. Plus I dont think he is good enough for our starting XI currently.
  5. There is a high likelihood of this happening come January. Knapper has quoted an exciting January upcoming. We do need a clear out of players and I wouldnt be adverse to any of the following departing should an acceptable bid come in: Hernadez, Gibbs, PP, Idah to name a few. This is providing we can get a better quality addition in through the door. Which seeing as our recruitment has been pretty pants for a long time remains to be seen.
  6. Believes Hernadez is improving and goals & assists will come. Well we've only had to wait an eternity to see this mythical improvements.
  7. The obvious would be Knapper taking advantage of his Arsenal connections with some young loan players coming in from there. Its anyone's guess at this stage.
  8. Im sure we could entice him with our warchest of £5 going into the January transfer window. I am more interested in hearing about our exciting january transfer window which has been touted on the main page.
  9. I just dont think he was the right appointment for us at that chosen time. We should of had a manager who has a similar emphasis on attacking possession based football ala Farke but with a better record in making teams harder to beat.
  10. I think its the latter in respect of Dean Smith.
  11. I am about as interested in Dean Smith as I am in Delia Smith at present...
  12. I would say Sainz is the closest thing we will get to Buendia style in a while. He chases back a lot more than the likes of Hernadez & co. I suspect they are breaking him in gently and he did look way off fitness wise not long ago.
  13. Would rather have Steve Cooper if he gets the chop, albeit I can not see out toothless and inept boarding acting anytime soon.
  14. Odd starting choices and playing people out of position doesnt help, however he seems to be getting results by the skin of his teeth currently. I am hoping Sainz becomes more involved in the next two games and we can start playing players in their traditional positions especially with players returning around xmas time.
  15. I doubt we could afford his wages and whether we are still an attractive proposition for players like Worrall remains to be seen.
  16. TBH i am not sure how he has settled and has been playing a lot of development football. I suspect he may of been earmarked to help in 24' after a period of settling, but seeing as he is on loan, we should have formed a fair idea of him by now. Was highly regarded by his last set of fans..
  17. We have one in Lima, who was meant to be readying himself for the first team.
  18. Batth will start over Warner with any hope. Sainz needs to start. Drop onel.
  19. Im hoping we dont see Sorenson back in the first team again. For me him, Hernadez and PP need to be shipped out and replaced at some stage in a squad refresh.
  20. I see Kenny gave away the ball in his usual fashion yesterday almost resulting in a goal.I feel we got a little bit lucky yesterday but it moves us in the right direction and adds to confidence. Wagner and his player / positional choices are still frustrating me though. Hernadez starting was a poor choice given his recent form, dropping batth for Kenny another weird one and dont get me started on Gibbs as an attacking midfielder. Is delia now picking the first team. Rant over.
  21. Cant wait to see our new super striker Gibbs firing them in on Sunday with his electric pace. How bad is Hwang's injury?
