  1. if Duda and Dirmic play tonight I’m going to .... Jump around! Jump around! Jump up. Jump up. And get down.
  2. Harper not parker. Poor kevin is the one everyone forgets about.
  3. There's some hope for Trump is Kanye West does actually run like he's claiming. New campaign slogan. Vote for me. At least I'm not as weird as him!
  4. That is some picture. It's dumb enough that he let them sit there. But why would you take a picture just to underline how stupid you are. Perhaps they've been using the threat of this picture to keep Andrew quiet.
  5. Reported for being offensive. No one wants to see his ugly face. It makes me feel sick.
  6. I never realised they were in charge of team selection or took training.
  7. Good luck to him. If i was a young player id find the idea of playing in germany pretty appealing. The standard of the bundesliga is good. They've even got var sorted! I think he'd be left alone by the media a bit more too. Just be allowed to get on with developing his game. Not have his every mistake analysed. He'll look at sancho as an example. He took a chance going over there and it paid off big time.
  8. Is robert chase still alive? While you're at it bring him back. The club got into Europe when he was there!
  9. 'Wow, we really are in trouble if that many need to go' I don't think that many NEED to go. However I'd be surprised if offers weren't made and there's no point keeping any player if they want to go. Remember how much Ashton took the ****. If we get a decent offer and they want to leave sell them.
  10. I heard this a while ago. At the same time I also heard that due to the change in manager he was trying to get out of it as he wants to go to Dortmund instead!
  11. I doubt the club knew about any interest. Players/managers generally get sounded out first. He said he wasn't interested so was left alone
  12. Always had a soft spot for Wycombe since i managed them om premier manager in the 90s so them. Hyde, Carroll, creaser, guppy. Quality players!
  13. 'And there it is - " I really never wanted a deal anyway, I just lied when I said I did" or words to that effect.' He wasn't even bothered whether we left or not let alone what deal we get. He only jumped on the leave bandwagon as he saw it as his best chance to get the top job.
  14. Clever that. Basically keeping the fans onside and also telling the board to back him! I'm trawling thru managerial departures now trying to work out where he could've gone!
  15. I'd be surprised. 2/3 majority in both houses is needed. Then it would go to the states and 3/4 need to vote it thru. Its highly unlikely that would happen. If it did i reckon Obama would go for a third term and beat him anyway.
  16. In a way its quite refreshing the players are treating the restart with the contempt such a farce deserves. For that im kind of proud of them. I think we should just call it quits. Refuse to carry on this charade, accept we're down. Sell everyone and start to plan for next season.
  17. Wasnt the boat he fell off named after her? I like how the news describes her as a 'socialite' as if that's a job. When they actually mean irrelevant rich person who does f*** all but seems to be under the impression people actually give a toss!
  18. I'd seen him earlier that week. I had a few mates round for the Glastonbury gig. Beforehand they were going. Who's neil young. Why are we watching him? He looks ancient. I only really like hip hop and funk. During it was 'oh yeah i know this one' 'he's actually pretty good' 'he's really going for it' By the end all four of them go 'hes awesome. We're coming with you next time' and they did! Still need to get over half his albums tho. I'll get round to it eventually.
  19. Great version of like a hurricane. Seen Neil Young twice and it was almost like seeing two different people. Like you say he isn't afraid to sound different. Probably helped he played with different bands but he certainly loved to mix it up instead of just a becoming a nostalgia act playing the same songs every night. Also did a cracking cover of 'a day in the life' ending by pretty much trashing his guitar. Hopefully he'll do one last tour when we're allowed to go to gigs again.
  20. I'm rooting for Luton to stay up as i work with a Luton fan whos alright. Also because. they dared to take a point off the mighty Leeds last night who are easily the best team the championships had for years (yes. I also work with a deluded and increasingly angry Leeds fan!)
  21. As someone on here mentioned a couple of weeks ago. Mike Pence was awfully quiet and distancing himself. Is that still the case? I've e not read much about him. I wander whether that's his idea or a suggestion from the party. Could trump even still get binned as a candidate? Perhaps the pennys dropped and Pence will be seen as their best chance of getting a republican president in the White house in November. Or... Is it all just fake news just reported over here and they actually all still love him?
  22. Octopus garden is a classic as far as I'm concerned. Poor old Ringo gets alot of undeserved stick. Id far rather listen to that than the earlier stuff. love me do, please please me, i feel fine. Stuff like that i just find dull. I guess you had to be there. Yes. That new rolling stones song is great. Probably because they've made no attempt to change their sound and it just sounds old!
  23. I nominate maama for. 'most annoying poster of the year who really should be postimg in non football' is that a category?
  24. Don't forget Labyrinth. Great film. Couple of often overlooked gems on the soundtrack too. Not forgetting Dance Magic Dance!
  25. People have all kinds of reasons for supporting teams. Not football i know but i guess it's like me supporting The Toronto Raptors (nba team) despite only actually seeing them play once and that was a friendly! I have no connection to Toronto other than visiting a couple of times. I just got into it while i was there as the games were on in the bars most nights. They weren't even any good for the first ten years! Altho they do have the best mascot ever. I look for their results. Watch the odd game(time difference isn't ideal) and have a bit of merchandise but thats it. Am i actually a fan? Even tho I'll be lucky to get a to a game every ten years? I guess it depends how you judge it. And going back to football. I'm the eldest of my cousins and out of the ones who like football they've clearly based their favourite team on who was good at the time they started getting interested in it. A Liverpool fan. The next two Man Utd then an arsenal and chelsea fan. Not any brighton fans despite growing up there!
