1. Sainsburys Longwater, see alot of the Norwich players in there.  Seen Holt, Lappin, Drury (not recently), Jackson, Surman, Ruddy and the little fella (Hoolahan).  I went in there one day and thought I had walked in Colney as they were all in there.
2.
What would excite me??... someone young, full of potential for the future, Bennett, Bennett, Howson, Pilks, Ayala, Butterfied for example. What doesnt excite me is a 28 year old who is injury prone and seen as surplus to requirements by one of the most experienced premier league managers.  Feels (To me) like we are just trying to get bodies in for the sake of it, not building for the future.
Id like to be proven wrong though!

4. I saw Holt in Sainsburys a few weeks back, just after he signed his new contract.  Looked like the 2009 version rather than the 2011 version.  Alot of players put on a bit in close season, hopefully he will be back in shape soon.
5. Not excited by this at all, really worried about what looks like a change in transfer policy.  Butterfield, Snodgrass.. Fine but looks like they were identified long ago before Hughton came along. Whittaker and Turner... not so fine.  Are they any better than what we already have?? I dont think so, in fact I would say they are worse.
6. Got to laugh at Warnock, claiming to be making the statement because the bid had been made public.  Not, it hadn''t, it was a rumour at that time, Warnock was the one making it public.  Of course Warnock wants to sell Sondgrass, he has been stalling over a new contract for some time now and they dont want to lose him for nothing in the summer or pittance in Jan.  Warnock making the bd public because he knows Snoddy wants out and wants a biddig war.
7. Chris Martin is the best finisher at the club, problem is that he is lazy as hell, tactically inept and selfish on the pitch, not to mention his social life style.  Expect Hughton to give him a chance, expect Martin to blow it again... Get rid in my opinion.
8. It wont be hard to come up with a song for him..... "Make way for Snoddy"
9. Hughton has a bit of a tricky task on his hands, he needs to take the time to understand the players he already has at his disposal before he can identify positions to improve on. Im sure he has already identified players in all positions, but wont act on that until he knows for sure where he needs to act.  He does have money to spend but not enough to spend for the sake of spending.  I expect we will see some more movement once they return.
10. Read into this what you will, but I think he is hinting at something more than just Whittaker being unveiled:-   Michael Bailey Tweet: "Get the feeling its going to be a busy one this afternoon"
11. Tribunal is going to be a gamble for both sides I guess, Barnsley could end up with less than they want or less than has already been offered, likewise Norwich could end up forking out a fortune.  Hope we come to a comprmise soon.
12. So how does this work then?  He is free to join any club he likes but because of his age and the fact he came through their youth system, the club are due compensation.  Thats fair enough I guess but does this mean that he can sign for Norwich and the fee decided by tribunal at a later date?  Is there a time limit set on Tribunals, do they have to be completed within a certain timeframe? Could we still be sitting here in a month or 2''s time waiting for this to go through...
13. Jacob Butterfield Tweet "Sorry to keep you waiting people.. I have no intentions of leaving you on an eastenders style cliffhanger.. But this is my last tweet today" Could mean anything...till tomorrow then.
14. Good call on Ryan Bertrand, position that needs strengthening and was very impressive last year.
15. Having witnessed Englands complete lack of depth in midfield in the Euros, Hodgsons pledge to look to youth for the WC campaign and the impressive development of Howson since his arrival, could he be in line for an England call up some time in the next year?  He is clearly the best midfielder Norwich have (IMO), he looks very comfortable on the ball, does his defensive duty and weighs in with a goal or 2.  I can see him coming on leaps and bunds under Hughtons tutorship and I really dont think that this would be a surprise. Feel free to shoot me down in flames, he does play for little old Norwich after all and may be overlooked just like Holt was.
16. I dont think anyone is suggesting that the old Italian change his system to fit Wes into the team, but when your a goal or 2 down looking for a way back into the game, is Paul Green, not affiliated to any club the answer?  I think not.  Against Spain, Ireland were crying out for someone more creative, someone who can get hold of the ball and keep it.
17. McNally has already stated that they have Paul Lamberts list of transfer targets which will be made available to Hughton but no doubt Hughton als has his own targets.  Was it Hughton who signed Ba for Newcastle on the cheap?
18. Martin never ceases to amaze me, when he first signed for us I thought he was a terrible player, mid table League 1 player at best not wanted by a poor Posh team in the Championship. BUT (before I get crucified) he has come on leaps and bounds and is now one of my favourite players and most consistant pereformers at the club.  The team will change this season under CH and hope that he is a big part of it.
19. At 31 (32 when seasons under way) and wiith just 16 goals in 60 appearances, I would be very disapointed.  I hope that the club continues with the same transfer policy that has faired us so well over the last few years but now twe can start casting our net a bit wider and start looking towards Europe.  There are plenty of players playering in mid table European club who would love a crack at the premier league.
20. I would take Naughton, Davis and Guthrie maybe but never wowed me.  Ranger would be a big no  from me, had his problems on and off the pitch and has been very disappointing when out on loan.
21. Should Manager and Coaches be registered to football clubs in the same way that players are to stop all this managerial poaching which seems to have become popular of late. If. for example, Grant Holt decides tomorrow that he want to quit NCFC, he cant then go and sign for another team as NCFC would still hold his registration.  Why can''t the same principal be applied to manager/coaches?
22. There will be loads going on in the background, no doubt we will hear something today.
23. Agreed, if it was Liverpool or another top6 team, I would have packed his bags for him and patted him on the back as he left with my respect for him intact.  Villa is a sideways move, the clubs in a mess and he wont have the same support that he got from the board of NCFC and McNally.  He was never going to stay forever but I hoped for 1 more season and a big club move for him.  He is going to Villa....
24. McNally is the best thing that has happened to this club, lets not go back to the days to Doomcaster!  There are lots of young gifted managers out there who would jump at the chance to manage our great club.  We would miss McNally more than Lambert. I''m not surprised he walked, he did it to Colchester.  What annoys me is that this is a sideways step, if it was Liverpool, I would have packed his bag for him.
25. He has to move on, he is banned from most pubs in Norwich, his work here is done.
