1. His words at the end of the game, reminded me of Lambert last season, knows he''s off... Difference is he can’t just walk out as easy as shambert… Fantastic performance today, maybe trying for the shop window …who knows.
2. Mr B, let me rephrase that, cement his legendary status.
3. Wouldn’t it be great for the Lino and ref to have a howler and give a Pen to Wigan to get the winner, take back the 3 pts cheated out of us. And yes now we are a neutral in all this, make possibly the best end of season game, winner takes all between Wigan and Villa.
4. Les You aren’t related to Stuwall from the Millwall site are you ?
5. With any luck he will carry on from the beginning of the season with the form he has shown the past few games. Once again a class showing from Jonny howson
6. Possibly his best game this season, he played with his natural aggression which is so important to his game and didn’t go looking for a foul instead of concentrating on the ball. He certainly benefited from having a ref who allowed a fair tussle between a centre half and a centre forward take place. All season Holty has been a marked man without any help from the officials (not that he has helped himself at times) and that has frustrated him no doubt. It was once again after Mike Reid couple of weeks back to have another good ref who didn’t screw us over. Hopefully Holty will be here next year to earn his rightful legendary status with us all.
7.
Lambert whingeing about the ref.
Pot Kettle Black
8. Win that and I will be cheering on Wigan vs Arsenal hope it goes down to Wigan v Villa final game of season Merv Win tomorrow and cheer who you like, we will be safe and yes I with you I will be a Wigan supporter Tell you what, going to make that Wigan/Villa game the one to watch.
9. Paul Moy...agree , where as I welcome the slightly more calm atmosphere on here after Swans beat wigan I think we have a long way to go. Nothing less than 3 points tomorrow please.
10. Need a chelski win now, Wigan could score a few against villas defence ,just like we should have donw !
11. Bloomin Heck Deja Vu to last seasons end when we were talking about Lamberts next club... Now if he had left to go to Everton I think I would have said fair enough !
12.
Lambert would be great for them. However, a jour no posted on twitter Moyes to United, Lennon to Everton, Coyle to Celtic.
Now theres a thought, Celtic could be a bigger draw. Think he has burnt his bridge for the merry go round this year though.
13.
What do I have to do to format the quote of someone''s post correctly considering the quote button doesn''t actually work properly? Thanks in advance.
Never works for me !
14. Sorry folks Im one of those that thinks he is as bad as the rest. Played a brillant 1-2 at Wigan when Wes lost the ball out of surprise and was going to give a foul that wasnt. Could be worst could have that prat Clattenberk, or Oliver , or Friend god I could go on !
15. Oops ...sorry all taste the same anyway dont they...Ale man myself !
16. Our last 2 games it would read something like We beat West Brom by 4-5 goals. All from dodgy desisions because the ref is trying to balance out all the wrongs this year. Wigan Villa Newcastle and any others we want to lose, lose On the final day we beat Man City (lets not get greedy and go for a 1 - nil win) who are celebrating the Cup win. Wigan and Villa who have manufactured a 5 minutes late start so they know what they have to do only for Wigan then to score a last second winner to send Villa down.
17. I would expect him to meet with McNally at the board during the week after the end of the season to discuss why we would dragged into a relegation battle and either just avoided it, or realised a little too late that we were in trouble. I would like to think that meeting took place on Saturday if not before !!
18. The same MON who has peed money up the wall of every club he has been too and when told enough is enough (ie bankrupt) buggers off ?
19. I envy you Morty, be far easier to cope know you cant look, if you lucky you wont find anything out until sunday week when we would have won both games, moved up 6 places and everything rosey. Be a shame when you wake up as you land wont it !
20. Least of our worries right now, besides it would mean a renog on the contract with the Kit manufacture if we go down.
21. ...have more twists and turns than a mountain pass up the Alps ! Good job I havent got to have my blood pressure checked for a few weeks !
22. Try to avoid the game until 10 oclock and have a look ? Go to the pub and keep up with the score ensuring that you leave the car at home ? Just sit and drink ? Or go and watch Iron Man 3 where you will see someone up for a fight ? I could actually like the Welsh for a evening tonight.
23. Couldnt agree more Mr Moy ...there we can agree on something ;-)
24. I think if Stoke can keep Sunderland quiet for the first 20 minutes it should start to make for a very nervous atmosphere We tried that didnt we, then some pratt changed all that.
