i`ve got a feeling releaseing semi, is lamberts lesser of two evils, after the release of the club accounts, i think the board have said to lambert to cut the wage budget, so instead of losing a top player, (and cant get shot of dead wood) hes had to get rid of the middle level players / potential youth (dumic).   lose a few to keep the cream   also doesnt semi have a heart condition that stops him in his tracks occasionally?

just like to point out, that a retired professional player would have had insurance for both his value to his club, and his future pro wages. if he retires the policy pays out...... for someone like ashton, west spam proberley got somewhere between 5 and 10 million, and ashton would have got the remainder of his contract paid by the insurance. as part of this payout ashton would have to agree that if he was ever in the postion to play pro football again this would have to be repaid. it happened a couple of years ago, a young liverpool player retired (can remember his name) but was able to resume his career in the conference, when his team got promoted to the (then) 3rd division he had to leave as he was unable to sign a pro contract as the club could not afford to pay the "transfer fee" back to the insurance company. i think he then joined another conference club and it happened again. i dont think norwich can afford to pay back ashtons insurance!!

the rule is we had to play out of the players that arnt injured or suspended the 6 players with the most appearances this season   since drury and spillane and martin where injured, lappin and holt suspended, i think we would just be ok.

oh and i belive this to be region controlled, basically by IP address assignement, so if your not connected to a UK network and getting a IP assigned to this country, you`ll proberley be out of luck thought there are 2 chances 1) use a proxy service, google it, im not got to list any here cos i dont bother using them my self, but bewarned not all of them are secure 2) using a streaming site like justin.tv  

The FA are doing this, basically cos after the demise of setanta, nobody else wanted to pick up the rights for the 2nd set of fa cup games (ITV have the 1st set) and englands away matches (hence the cock up with the England pay stream) don`t get the FA''s streaming mixed up with the pay service a few weeks ago, its a lot better, i had my dad round to watch the U21 match that the fa streamed, i had it running on my media centre hooked up to a 40in samsung 5 series, my dad summed it up by saying thats better quality the channel 5! the half time was a bit flat with no analysis, just rolling pics of highlights and pics of the crowd, but commentry was ok its better then nothing so just logon and enjoy!

i get this all the time, i work in ipswich with a lot of ipswich season ticket holders, in there eyes nothing i say matters cos we are in league one, i cant anything about the paulston game, cos i get "yeah enjoy the 2nd round, we`re a 3rd round big team" i bring up the fact that we were 7 points better off then them this time last year, and i get yeah "but your already in League one, and the season is not even half way" i point out about our crowds and get a put down about letting in all the kids for a quid crap. i then point out that there debt is double ours, they say they dont have any i point out ITFC owe evans 35 million, and they shut up....
