  1. Sorry but this is the most mindlowing bsh*t move! Anyone who has seen this kid play should recognise the ability he has! Unbelievable! I have defended AN but for me he has to go NOW! If we make the playoffs I will donate £100 to the pups fund! Nutty hold me to this I am good for it! Snake
  2. If AN sends Maddison out on loan he really has lost the plot! He may be young but has far more talent than Naismith! He would be better off here shadowing Wes and Pritchard! Unbelievable if this happens! Snake
  3. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
  4. He will be missed! Be at peace FW!😔 Snake
  5. Tricky week this week. I''m going for Chelsea HOME WIN. And Canos to score anytime for City! Good luck all! Snake
  6. Canos was used as a sub aswell Diane but yes 11 changes from the starting lineup on Saturday!
  7. Daisy, yes I believe it was that bad. Ipswich are a poor side, yet we were very lucky to get away with a point. The result is one thing and yes a point away is generally thought of as a good result, but in all fairness we should have been too good for them and won. As it is we didn''t and what makes it worse for me is the performances over the last 3 games. We have been lacklustre since Blackburn. I hope to see an upturn in performance.
  8. *1 of the four! (Can''t count) http://services.pinkun.com/forums/pinkun-forums/cs/emoticons/emotion-10.gif
  9. I take that as a point gained. A team we should have destroyed really and they were poor, but we were awful! Got very lucky imo! I will take that point and move on, but AN has got to look at things desperately! We looked flat and too much tweaking of the team. Shoehorning players into a system that rather than creating the system to the players. On a positive, unbeaten in the league and only really played well in 1 of the three! Hopefully things can only get better? Snake
  10. Staying in England. Bolton to continue their great start. Bolton v Fleetwood HOME WIN. Norwich bet: 2-0 to City! Good luck all! Snake
  11. Luton v Yeovil HOME WIN Norwich to win 3-0 Wes to score anytime. Good luck everyone! Snake
  12. Subs are based on positional cover. Mulumbu is needed to cover Tettey and Howson. Lafferty is are only other striker so. Pritchard and Murphy cover the a/m places. No room as yet for Maddison and Canos. I would expect, when up to speed, Pritchard would play ahead of the murphys. Then I believe their will only be one place on the bench for Josh or Jacob. Maddison will take the other slot. It will be Canos, Josh, Jacob fighting for the one place on the bench. Snake
  13. Good to be back! Cambridge v Barnet Home Win! Let''s get off to a winning start! Good luck everyone! Snake
  14. I see Pritchard fitting in to this sort of system Ruddy Pinto Bennett Klose Ollson Tettey Howson Pritchard Hoolahan Jerome Naismith Or something like it? Snake
  15. After what I saw last Tuesday, if we can get £5m plus for Olsson, I would try and get Ryan Haynes from Coventry. Although young and not much league experience, he looked quick, strong, good defensive awareness and showed capability of playing as a left midfielder. I am sure he would be up for the fight more than a whinging Olsson? Snake
  16. I understand your qualms with the term ''end product'' GPB, so I will clarify myself. In the case of Canos, last night, I was referring to his delivery into the box after creating a decent opportunity to provide a delivery into a dangerous area. You are correct that having more attacking players in the box, helps, however when crosses overshoot the box, fail to beat the first defender often and even go straight out of play, no amount of attacking players in the box is going to make a difference. Last night was the first time I had really watched Canos and so I was merely commenting on what I saw. It was not an indictment on what he is capable of. A question for you GPB. Do you feel our wide players have been good enough with their delivery over the last few years or not? Snake
  17. I was at the game last night. Pretty accurate write up AJ! It was announced at the ground the Godfrey scored the second, which had me and my son rather confused as we watched excellent interplay between both Murphy''s and Morris, in the build up to the goal. I said I thought Jacob had scored it, so stunned when announced as Godfrey. Anyhow, Godfrey looked really assured at the back. He has good size, showed good awareness and has some pace. Very promising player! McGovern did ok, but looks a bit on the small size. He will be put under a lot of pressure in the area by teams with big strikers. Both Whittaker and Pinto got beaten by the wingers, but is to be expected occasionally. Pinto''s recovery is better though. He is ahead for me in the RB position. It is a toss up between Bennett and Bassong for the other CB slot. Bassong looked good and was very vocal, but Bennett is quicker and has better positioning. Either one is more than capable in the Championship. Wes looked really sharp. By far the sharpest of the Norwich players last night. Great goal and seems to be brimming with confidence after an excellent Euros. Maddison looks as though he could be a real gem! Will help take the pressure of Wes and another creative option. Excited by his performance! Canos was well marshalled by Coventry''s #3. However he was positive with his intent and has some pace, but end product needs to improve. The Murphy''s really did inject some pace and intent in the second half and would have to be viable options for the season. Loaning them out again would be a real waste IMO. Both Lafferty and Morris got little supply in the right areas, which is a concern. This will need to improve if we are to score the goals we need to go up. I am looking forward to Saturday to see the rest of the squad. It was evident to me, however that even with Jerome, if we are going to play 1 up, we need another striker, but one that fits the system. Oh and I was very impressed by the Coventry #3. He was strong, quick, was good on the ball and tracked defensively really well! Snake
  18. It is really hard to think of a manager that could actually take England forward. The only 2 I can think of would probably refuse the Job. Pochettino and Ranieri. The other option might be Guus Hiddink? Other than that I am at a loss. The only English manager I can think of would be Eddie Howe. The players looked completely lost out there tonight. No direction, leadership or purpose. They have to shoulder a lot of the responsibility themselves with so many poor performances, but any manager worth their salt would have had them far more organised and would have known his best team, well before the tournament. The squad does have a lot of talent, but was poorly coached and used. Snake
  19. I could serioudly be.... Brexit? 😕
  20. I had no issues with the formation at the start. It was attacking and should have been productive. However, the way Kane and Vardy were being asked to create the width too often stifled the play through the middle and limited the effectiveness of our strikers. If you are going to play that diamond the wide midfielders and fullbacks must provide the width to ensure the front 3 are in the middle, occupying the defence and acting as a greater threat. When the sending off happened, I did not see this as a problem. It was a great opportunity to show the ability to adapt. We could easily find ourselves playing against 10 men or a team that is more defensive and puts bodies behind the ball. We have to learn how to break teams down. In this case, Roy seemed too focused on a plan he wanted to see, rather than being flexible with formation and personnel. He missed a trick in my opinion. I don''t believe the players themselves will be our downfall, but the inability and rigidness of the manager. The talent is there. Let them loose. I am a firm believer of picking your best players and playing them in a system that suits their abilities. Snake
  21. I can see him going to Bournemouth. He would fit in really well with their philosophy. They have the money and the status now after last season. They may appear small due to the size of support/stadium, however they stayed up easily last season, despite many injuries to important players, and played some good football doing it. They have the structure, money and vision that would attract players like Pritchard. For us to compete we would have to show the same attributes and more. Sadly I don''t believe we are in the position to do that! :( Snake
  22. I would love for us to sign him, unfortunately we are not in the Market place for him. He will go to another Prem club and won''t be able to compete for him.
