1.

I don''t much post on here, but in my 31 years of regularly going to matches the Asics kit is still my favourite and also notable for the most expensive football shirt sponsorship deal at the time. I too have invested in the white one, but it is also player worn with Football League badges. Pretty pricey but worth every penny! OTBC
I have an Asics home, player worn, with FL badges and number 6 on the back – had it since ''new'' as my mum was a teacher and a FITC guy gave it to her 20 years ago. Who used to wear number 6 most frequently in the Asics days, would it have been Andy Townsend? I also have a Fosters Lager long-sleeved home with green and yellow chevrons down the (green) sleeves, also player worn number 6, although that''s not in quite as good condition as the Asics. Just out of interest, how much do people think they''d be worth/be prepared to pay for them?
The replica asics go for anything between £30 and £100 on ebay. Match worn versions would be worth more though. Not sure about the Fosters.  What size is your asics?
2.
Do you have a Large you would like to sell?
Well the label has been cut out in mine at some point so I can''t verify that it''s defo a large but it''s a bit too big for me as they''re meant to be worn quite tight I think.  So may be a good time to sell it and see if I can find a medium or small to buy instead.
3. Bit of a long shot, but does anyone have a small or medium Asics shirt that they''ve outgrown and would like to swap for a large??
4. 1. Player – Ian Henderson 2. Goal – Random, but Robbie Blake completing a hat-trick in front of Barclay in a 4-1 defeat to Bradford when he ran past block E doing that infuriating hand behind the ear thing. 3. Match you''ve been to -   Swansea away this season 4. Manager  - Roeder 5. Captain – Fotheringham 6. Kit – 2008 Xara Aviva
5. Agreed.  I pointed out on here a few weeks ago - when alot of people were cody bashing - that McDonald, at age 24/25 has a better goal return than both Morison and Holty had at the same age (when both were playing the same or lower levels than Cody did last season).  Therefore there is no reason to write Cody off as someone who can never make the grade (as some people seem to have already done). He could sign for Posh, bang 17 championship goals and be fetching £2m bids from the Prem this time next year just like Morison.. Personally, I really hope that doesn''t happen and we hold on to him.
6. Didn''t fit into our system, simple as that.  I''m a season ticket holder and don''t remember many appearances he''s made where he hasn''t looked a threat every time he gets the ball.  Just think he couldn''t work in the diamond and that''s why he has had so few opportunities. Didn''t go to the orient game but to say he is by far our weakest player is very harsh as we''ve not had too much to go on.  I remember several games where his contributions almost single handedly changed the game in our favour.
7. probably googled him and this came up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEnX3RKVe_k
8. Love the kit. Nice classic simple design, v neck looks great. Well done Errea, thought it may look a bit Sunday league but actually looks classier than those horrible generic Nike efforts so many teams wear.
9. I cant understand why some people slate Cody so much either - we didn''t really see enough of him at Norwich to pass judgement - players need a run in the team and strikers especially need the backing of the fans.  That''s what he had at Gillingham.  Holt and Morison both started in non-league and worked their way up and are now Prem players who will b efighting for a starting place next year. When they were Cody''s age they both had lower strike rates at the same or lower level to what he''s played this season.  He also has excellent pace which is a rare gift.  I know alot of people are bored of this debate and so am I but I just don''t get where the hatred comes from.  He''s obviously not the finished article by any means but I wouldn''t be surprised that if he is given the chance at Championship level to play every week he will score 15+ and will be eqivalent to Morsion this time next year, i.e attracting bids of £2m plus.  No wonder he didn''t want to come back - he''s prob read the comments on this forum.  I suspect a lot of the haters are the same whiney b*stards who hated it when Jackson came good cos they had written him off long before as someone who wasn''t ever going to be good enough and couldn''t face being proved wrong. My point is, the fans have a lot of influence on how a player performs and every player who is contracted should get the full backing of the fans. That can be hard I know when touches go astray and sitters are missed but whta causes that? lack of confidence, and what causes lack of confidence? fans moaning at players. Cureton when he returned was a classic example of what idiot Norwich fans can do to a player.
10. This is a wind up innit! OP is a desperate scummer or a panicking leeds fan! Certainly can''t be a Norwich boy anyway. Fair play mate you''ve done us all!
11. This has angered me. There are very few premiership players we can afford who haven''t failed to get in regularly at that level or who would actually put in a shift for Norwich. Witha coupleof very expensive exceptions the ones that have gone down have failed at that level essentially and will be going into the new season with a losing mentality. I totally back the strategy Lambert and the board are deploying and am thrilled with the signings so far. Lambert''s built a big powerful strike force which has goals in it, proven goalscorers and looks to be working on a good mix of midfielders to support the ones we already have who aren''t half decent anyway. I would hold fire before you comment, at least until you''ve seen the signings play for Norwich.  As other posters have pointed out, Lambert has seen these guys first hand and knows he can work with them.  Remember he has played at the very highest level himself. I''m guessing you probably haven''t. So stop whining and wait and see how it all pans out, you''re gonna wish you hadn''t posted this in a few months time!
12. I''ve also got an asics i''m wanting to sell as it''s a bit big for me.
13. Consider these relative stats: Cody @ age 24 2010/11 - League 2 - 1.67 games per goal Holt @ age 24  2004/05 - League 2 - 2.35 games per goal Morison @ age 24 2007/08 - Non-league - 1.95 games per goal I''m not quite sure what that proves other than the fact that if Holt and Morison can make it to the Prem there is no reason why Cody can''t.  Maybe he''s not quite ready yet, but could be in a couple of years?
14.
"The ball came to me on the edge of the box, so I just ran in and hit it!"  WLY scoring against manyoo at old trafford
What a great little player he was for a while... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvfOfeuYGT0&feature=fvsr
15. Yeah think Matt Ball was the only one to be offered a contract. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13519866.stm
16.
I''d much rather have Snodgrass than Gradel. My feeling is that Gradel is a right-sided, better version of MacNamee, where as Snodgrass is a right-sided, possibly better version of Surman. I''d also expect them to have the same problems/success fitting into a midfield involving Hoolahan. Especially if/when we get Bennett, we would have more use, and more success with Snodgrass. I''m not sure I get the we must have pace thing: what we must have is a way to score. We won''t do well if we try to cover every possible way to score and end up as a cheap version of whats already there, because those that are already there will do it better. If we go up with a coherent team which does what it does very very well, we have a much better chance.
We do definitely need pace throughout the team at Prem level.  Will get found out otherwise.  Lambert obviously knows this all too well, hence the signings of Vaughan and Morison and the offer for Bennett. I am sure he will be looking for the centre half he brings in to be at least as quick as Barnett aswell. It''s not just about finding a way to score, without pace can you imagine what fast breaking teams such as Arsenal will do to us?!  That''s not to say Snodgrass wouldn''t be a brilliant signing.  I hope we get both him and Bennett.
17. I expect a lot of what has been written about Morison by Millwall fans is out of bitterness - if he was as poor in front of goal as they''re making out then why are they all so furious about him leaving?! 15 goals at Championship level is still an excellent return and one that commands the fee we''ve paid for him in this day and age.  As for Graham, surely he''s just as much of a gamble having never been proven at Prem level either. Who is to say he will adjust better than Morison?  Ebanks Blake set the Championship on fire and won Wolves the league. Couldn''t hit a barn door in the Prem. Graham has been a bit over hyped IMO - yes he''s scored sh*t loads this season but was hardly prolific prior to this year even at League 1 level.  It''s all about confidence with strikers as we have seen with Jacko.  The most important thing is that the fans and manager get fully behind them, don''t write them off before they''ve had a chance and remain patient even when things may not be going to plan.  Lambert will do his bit in fostering that confidence.  I only hope the fans do their bit to.
18. Barnett is pretty rapid for a centre half and probably the best overall IMO of three we currently have.  If we can get another one in - peferably with prem experience and adequate pace - we should be OK in this area as Tierney can also play CB if it came to it. If Barnett had stayed fit I think we''d have conceded far fewer this season.  RB/LB need cover although the likes of Korey and Lappin I''m sure will be retained as squad players as they can provide cover for a number of roles including the full backs. (Aaron Lennon or Walcott on Lappin would be entertaining!)
19. It''s funny that they''re all now saying he''s sh*t! If he''s that bad why are they all so angry about it!
20. That will get rejected.  Plus, Vaughan - for at least £1m less - who is four years younger but with seven more years of experience at a Prem club is IMO a better bit of business.  Wouldn''t say they''re showing more ambition.  I wouldn''t even be surprised if we''d bid for Graham and Shane Long as well.
21.
Is it just me or are the transfer valuations being bandied about for players like Morisson and CMS just crazy at the moment? I mean, those are figures similar to or more than the figures we paid for Ashton and Earnshaw. They were outstanding players at the time - far better and less risky than the current players being looked at.Why can this be?
In terms of transfer fees things have moved on a hell of a lot since we bought Ashton and Earnshaw.  Ashton we bought from Crewe and he had no Prem experience.  The equivalent of Earnshaw who already had a bit of Prem experience would possibly be someone like Kenwyn Jones (£8m) or Hugo Rodellaga (rated at £15m?). I therefore think we''ve grabbed absolute bargain in Vaughan and the fees being quoted for Morison are also quite reasonable.  CMS at £4m though does seem a little over-inflated given his age and the fact that he''s spent the year in L1.
22. So have I.  If enough people complain that he''s been offensive the BBC will have to do something and hopefully he won''t be reporting on any of our games next season.  I''ve never liked the bloke at all and the way he has handled this has only served to reaffirm my belief that the guy is a complete tw*t.
23. If it is Errea, I really hope it is a yellow and green version of Brighton''s from 2010/11.. http://www.football-shirts.co.uk/fans/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Brighton3.jpg
