  1. If we paid 8 million for Brady I can''t see why we would want to sell for any less, he''s been our best player this season. If Brady''s worth 8 million you would have to put Redmond on a par at the very least, probably with some "he''s English" tax added on top. So yes you''re talking in the region of 20 million. Only pitfall with Redmond is he''ll be in his last season of his contract but i''m sure there''ll be more than 1 team interested, thus driving the price up.
  2. Yesterday was his first start. He has all the attributes to be a really decent premier league midfielder but is missing the footballing brain and/or work ethic IMO.
  3. Mason clearly didn''t see the back pass incident, he was clearly communicating with his linesman when the whole stadium started going mental. So either the linesman clocked the touch by Jerome or both of them missed the incident completely. Either way it was the correct decision so nothing to complain about.. Saying that the offside was ridiculous and Mason was dreadful.
  4. I find it strange how 1 isolated incident one week always results in further "incidents" in the coming weeks.. Is it happening week in week out and only gets brought to the forefront when somebody gets hit? Or does 1 incident make it "fashionable" resulting in further incidents?
  5. He''s since deleted them. I read them with my own eyes so I can guarantee it''s what he tweeted.
  6. Bennett confirmed on Twitter yesterday he was available but wasn''t selected.
  7. It''s a game of opinions and personally I disagree, never been a fan of the Tettey/Howson pairing. It never has worked.
  8. We''ve got a bunch of central midfielders who are uncomfortable in possession and can''t pass a ball more than a few yards. I can''t see 442 working personally.
  9. Lets be honest it''s hard to "believe" in the current the setup. I hope we can turn it around but Neil is looking more and more like a lost sheep with every game. The players look void of confidence, we''ve failed to rectify basic defensive errors, and Neil continues to blame everyone but himself.
  10. An "off the boil" Redmond still offers more on the wing than Howson or an over the hill Jarvis.
  11. Can''t understand why Howson is still an automatic starter for most? Poor defensively and offers very little going forward. Ruddy Pinto Bennett Bassong Olsson Tettey Vadis Redmond Naismith Brady Mbokani
  12. Had a good debut, been sh*t ever since. Probably couldn''t believe his luck when we offered him his last big contract!
  13. Complimentary hearing aids to hear the Barclay.. sounds like a great idea to me! We should start placing them on seats like the infamous clappers.
  14. The sad part is most Barclay goers still seem to think they could rival Borrusia Dortmund''s south bank. I relocated from the Barclay to the River End last season and with a clear view aided by firmly seated compatriots i''ve realised just how bad the "barclay atmosphere" actually is. The pre match OTBC sounds like murmered wave of nothingness. If you didn''t know the words you still wouldn''t be none the wiser after hearing it. The wave of nothingness is usually followed by 90 minutes of nothingness. On the odd occasion we might get a round of "Nathan Redmond.. Da Da Da Da" Or the other favourite.. "Johnny Howson.. Da Da Da Da" Or the new one to the collection.. "Steve Naismith.. Da Da Da Da" As for goal celebrations they are just as "wild" in the River End, no joke. If it wasn''t for the Snake Pit Carrow Road would be dead.
  15. Football Manager employ the largest scouting network in the world. Most top clubs use the FM database to track/monitor players in the darkest dingiest corners of the world. It''s basically a cheap reliable first report. To make out FM stats are some completely made up nonsensical for spotty 17 year olds is wrong.
  16. What and Ruddy does inspire confidence? I''m not saying Declan Rudd is the next De Gea but he''s definitely performing better than Ruddy. Ruddy posseses the agility of a sleeping cow on temazepam
  17. Howson has the ability but rarely/if ever shows it for a full 90 minutes. If things aren''t going our way he normally goes missing. We need a central midfielder who demands the ball and can dictate play.
  18. Jarvis is bang average. Had a decent debut and haven''t seen anything of him since. Can''t believe we gave him a contract let alone payed money for him.
  19. "not good in the air" A cb who isn''t good in the air.. sounds promising! What next.. a striker who can''t score? Or a winger who can''t cross? Perhaps a central midfielder who can''t pass? Just what we need.
  20. Gary Hooper knows where the net is, but it doesn''t make him a premier league striker.
  21. Yes, beginning of the end in my opinion. Undermined Russel Martin, unsettled the squad.
