1. Boxing day- Chelsea (H), Dec 29th, Man City (H) could be a great couple of xmas/new years shocks there :)
2. 2 hours before the Russia game kicked off, I put £5 on them to win the tournament, at 12''s. Needless to say I wasn''t very impressed with them being knocked out!!!
3. When we signed Howson, I said he is the future captain of NCFC. He was the Leeds captain (youngest they''ve ever had I believe), leads/plays by example, and seems the perfect candidate. If not, Ruddy!
4. Sorry if already posted, but what the hell has he done that for?
5. They understand he has been picked for the Euro squad, great news!
6. Great day other than the result, Scary to think of all the changes that has happened at the club in those years since! 3 promotions, 2 relegations, managerial and boardroom overhauls, so many ups and downs!
7. Am I the only one who really don''t want them to go up? For Norwich to get back to back promotions was an extremely special and rare thing to do but if the Saints do it a year later, it make it seem ''easier'' than people think and take it away from us a bit! 2-0 up though, so it''s looking likely!!
8. We go above them with a 16-0 win, It''s do-able ;-)
9. One of Juan Velasco, Antoine Sibierski or Troy Archibald Henville fo me ;) But seriously, for me it''d be Holty!! He has been Mr. NCFC since he joined us, and without him, we wouldn''t be where we are now
10. Lambert was just on SSN saying how he feels he is out of our price range and won''t be coming here, but I hadn''t read anywhere that we were even interested? If this is the calibre of players we are trying to get next season, it could be a hell of a good season!!
11.

How do you create shirts like that? Is there a certain site you do it on?
I used a kit template for photoshop from: http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/kits/47862-kit-templates-download-section.html
Cheers, but that looks too complicated for me!! I went onto your link, and didn''t know where to click to download the template LOL

13. Man City have obviously had a lot more success than NCFC, and are currently 1000000 miles ahead of us, but I look at the clubs and see a lot of similarities. We have both been in the top flight for a lot of years in the past, but have also both had to endure the lows, such as League 1 (Div 2 as it was when MCFC were there) mediocre seasons in the championship/div 1 and now back in the big time. Both sets of fans have had to endure so many bad times, but we have always stayed with the clubs, unlike Leeds, Forest and Leicester fans etc. Yes if you win the title, it''s only because of the money, but good luck to you. We have more than succeeded this year as 17th was the target, and you will only really succeed if you win the title, but if you don''t get it this year, it won''t be long!! See you next year, where we won''t be beaten 11-2 overall!!!
14.
Take them both? It would be like having a better wilby with hotl for england. Can''t say im too fussed. The strikers are in the form of their lives for the Dutch in Huntelaar and RVP!
What is it with you and Holland? What do you think of plastic fans of Man Utd etc in Norfolk? You always going on about Holland is exactly the same!
15. Sorry mate, but the title is Utd''s. Somehow Fergie does it every year, and take them on a huge run at the end of the season (I know they lost to Wigan Yesterday though!!) and they will probably end up winninng the title by 8/9 points. I think Saturday will be a close game, with both teams going for it. The ground, btw, is a 10 min walk at most from the station, and the away fans pub is the other side of the road from the station if you had time for a pint or 6!
16. He was on talksport last week, and said Holt was the best English striker behind Rooney in the League and if he wasn''t picked for England, it is a ''travesty''. then the next day, on one of the phone in''s, he actually phoned in to praise GH. He really seems to like NCFC and Holt in particular!!
17. IF he leaves in a few years, There is one man who I''d like to see take over. I doubt many here will agree with me, but Ian Culverhouse. He has been with Lambert for years, so must have learnt a thing or 2. Plus he loves the club, and know how Norwich should play the game. People have said that he does more than PL anyway!
18. When we signed Ryan Bennett I said to a few people I felt he was one of the best young CB''s in the Country, and THE best CB out of the PL. But I didn''t expect to see him come in and be as good as he has been in such a short space of time. This guy, along with Ayala when he''s fit are probably 2 of the best defenders potentially in the League. Then with Howson looking like he''s been in this League for years, not just a few games, it''s ridiculous! We have 2 future NCFC legends on our hands here, it''s just a scary thought how good this side will be if they all stay together for 3/4 years when they will all be around 25/26 years old. Lambert has somehow built a side for now and the future, where it''s usually one or the other. Loving it!!
19. How about something along the lines of Madness'' ''Our houre''. Like ''Howson, in the middle of the park, Howson''? Ok I accept, it''s terrible!!
20. Totally agree, get Culverhouse and Karsa to train him up a bit, he could have some potential! ;)
21. WHAT??? They were the worst fans I''ve seen in a long while, which is why Norwich fans were singing ''the worst fans we''ve ever seen'' to them!!
22. No. Stayed in South Mimms for the weekend, but had to get the tube in and out of London (to Putney Bridge) for the game. After the game, it was packed (was crushed in!) but it was full of City fans which was good, even more than Fulham fans on there. London was full of City fans, even down Oxford and Regent street and around Central London. Was awesome!!
23. Just a couple of mistakes in there. I know it''s not much, but it still makes me laugh how they can describe a goal so wrong! Caption below the picture ''''Wolves Keeper Wayne Hennessey denies Grant Holt, but the Norwich player was able to nod in the rebound to put the canaries ahead''''. First off, Holt knocked it over the keeper, and headed it in, he didn''t score from a rebound off a Hennessey save. Secondly, it was the equaliser, not to put us ahead! Then in the report it says ''''Little more than a minute later, Wolves'' notorious defensive frailties haunted them once more as Holt, courtesy of an assist from Simeon Jackson, found himself one-on-one with Wolves'' keeper Wayne Hennessey as Carrow Road held it''s breath. The clubs'' leading scorer was briefly denied by Hennessey but followed up to nod home from close range''''. How can a reporter describe something so simple, so wrong?? I know I''m being picky, but it makes me laugh.
24. Dean Ashton was a VERY good player, who isprobably one of the best center forwards we''ve hasd in the past 20 years or so. He had to leave, when he did. He was a Premier League quality player, playing for a side which could not match his ambition or potential. We got £7.5 million for him, which is still a record sale. He obviously think a lot of the club, place and the fans here. If the OP is slating him for just saying Holt''s challenge was silly, then what DA said is true! Holt had already been booked (still not really sure what for though!) and he had lost the ball and lunged in from behind, it was silly from Holt, and if it was a Wolves player doing it, you would have been up in arms calling for a red card. I find it interesting how ex pro''s view certain things that happen on the pitch. STOP MOANING! Once again, we win, but there still has to be something to moan about!
