1. If this can be believed - it looks as though you''ve lost out to Barnsley for Lee''s signature too http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_5422858,00.html He would have done a decent job for you I feel!
 2.
Nice kit too and your new kit is shiite
Unusual colour combo I see ![;)]

 4.
What have been the highest scoring matches involving Norwich over the years?  The main one''s that spring to mind with me are beating Burnley 5-3, Middelsbrough 4-4 and a 4-4 at Charlton we had ages ago. There must be a higher-scoring game than them in the last 20 years?
Didnt norwich lose 8-1 to Man City on the FA Cup at Maine Road?
ignore him blue Mike.. everyone else does... i agree with what you say.... to see you fold would be disastrous! we need the Derby and the rivalry.. the gap of however long it will be till the next derby will only whet our appetites further.... On another note.. if Ipswich ever gained City status (PFFFT!) would you find it soul destroying supporting "Ipswich City fc?" a new team with no history to it whatsover? jas :)
Jas, IF we did ever become a city, and I say IF, i would hate the thought that we could ever be called Ipswich City, it just wont be accepted, we would have to stay "Town".
......Or Tahhhnn as I believe it is pronounced
Nope! slight misconception there. It''s more likely to be said as "Towan" ![;)]

 7.

Hello - im a newbie , although one who has long been a fan of reading your posts for a long time. Haven''t felt the need to contribute before but have been sent mental by certain recent posts. Neither the delia-lovers or the delia-haters have upset me - they obviously love the club and have provided me with much entertainment - who honestly hasn''t imagined what 1st wiz looks like? Smudger - mainly due to his avatar is (in my head) something out of an aphex twin video , raging relentlessly against the establishment. Love all those characters but what i cant stomach is............................all these recent postsers who claim to be disgusted by the "conflict" on here. "its a civil war" "its become so childish".........has it? Then good - we are where we are. It would be shameful if there wasn''t real anger expressed. Check out the binners green-un message board - its truly retarded (and thats not anti-scum bias - ive taken that into account and i even quite like bluemikes special little messages) This message board is brilliant because of the conflict - keep it coming. Just wanted to keep your spirits up on the frontline of ncfc civil war 2009-????.
Hi Yossar, yay someone likes my posts lol, I only come on for a laugh and to remind you lot who are the pride of East Anglia !!!! Have fun pal.
Was there ever any doubt ?![:D]
 8.

Well, he''s in the World Cup. And we''re in the Third Division. Ah well. That''s life as they say. Kind of hit me this morning though when I saw his name ''up in lights'' so to speak. But fair do''s and good luck to him; he did pretty well for us all told. OTBC
Norwich City''s problems really began when your Board "listened" to you fans and sacked "Worthless". Not so "worthless" now is he ! ...and then your Board "listened" to you fans again , and sacked all the other managers you employed, in quick succession. There appears to be a trend here doesnt there !
Bit rich coming from you lot after throwing your debtors on the scrap heap. And it''s usually good manners to mind one''s own business.........but then, we shouldn''t expect better from mere towners should we. OTBC
Well Im sorry if my observation upset you! You dont say whetehr you agree or not ? It was just an observation and a comment but since you''ve turned it into an issue.... "throwing debtors on the scrap heap" - well thats not enirely true, as they were paid what the club could afford at the time (although far from ideal I agree ...as reasoned response to your comment, see!). Whereas your Board appear to care little for you loyal ST holders seemingly shafting you on a seasonal basis - where HAS all that Premiership money gone Delia, where is the evidence of  squad rebuilding Delia ?? Questions that norwich fans have surely asked - and if not , should surely have done so! "Minding ones own business - good manners"? .....Really? well maybe the hoards of canary fans that flooded the Town Boards to gloat when the boot was on the other foot, also lacked good manners then , or perhaps when your local rag ran it''s infamous  "Town - relegation clock countdown", when we were promoted to the Premiership was also not minding ones own business and good manners  !
 9.
Describe norwich city fc in 3 words LACK OF EVERYTHING!
ambitionless? broke? f**ked?
 10. Why hasnt your Club gone for a player like Billy Clarke ? He is available  on a freebie and would have been a good goal scorer for you at your level. I can only assume that you dont appear to have any funds for players, when you dont approach decent player (s) that are available on free''s!

 12. Is it that you havent got a motorway .....or more that you dont have any dual carriageways ?
 13. Do you really want an answer to this  ...? "What chance (apart from none!) do you think we''d have of getting either? I think (sadly for you ) you will now have to set your sights / ambitions much, much lower & look at Saints situation and reflect.... "there by the grace of God , go I "!!
 14.
With the greatest of respect for your excellent post VBB, the only significant difference between the two clubs is that Ipswich have the luxury of having a multi-millionaire at the helm. After all, it''s certainly not your season ticket sales which pays for Keane or the new CEO. Marcus Evans knows as little about running a football club as the circus at this end, but at least has the business savvy to employ people who know better, such as your CEO and Keane. However, his business acumen has also meant that because of these appointments, he''s managed to deflect attention from the fact that he''s avoided investing in the playing side. I think that David Norris is still his only significant signing, which is interesting that Keane has no track record with anything less than £80 million in his pocket. If Evans'' inclination or other business interests change, you''ll be in very much in the same boat as the rest of us, with nothing to fall back on as you have no season ticket sales to speak of, no local potential investment as you''ve already pi55ed off your local business community by royally shafting them last time you were skint and you don''t even have a ground that you own. You''re right in that, while he''s in charge, it all looks pretty rosy at the moment, but don''t kid yourself that it''s anything more substantial than that.
I agree in part with your view that the two clubs differ by their repsective (potential) bank balances. But isnt that what drives the professional game (sadly) in this Country nowdays ? I recall Royle stating , when he took charge of Town. That we "were now in the second tier of the Championship " due to acute lack of funds, and that to get promotion from it would be very difficult, due to uneven playing field, (no puns here please!!). The game is being killed by sky tv IMHO.   So your point that we (Town) have it good for the time being , as long as Marcus Evans is owning the Club is true. But that can equally be siad of many many other Clubs , and notably a lot preside in the premiership now (West Ham , Man City, Liverpool, Newcastle etc etc).   You , like almost every Norwich fan I know , bangs on about the diference in ST sales. True you have a superior ST sale and have done so for a few years . But if yu care to look back over the records, you ''ll see that this is only fairly "recent" history. As Town were attarcking gate sof 25k plus after we had been relegated AND whilstyou were in the Prmiership during one season. The current differently is not too far apart - and we have been out of the Prem for nigh on 7- 8 years now and pay on average £100 more for our ST''s!   But without wishing to get into the relms of needless "point scoring"  there is all said and done not that much differenrce between the two Clubs , or their supporters!   btw : Good Luck for the new season !
 15.
what comes round , goes round im sure we will have the chance to take the p** out of you lot , especially when kean blows your transfer budget like he did at sunderland .
err yes,  as you say what comes around goes around.  Didnt you norwich fans spend at least 4 years taking the piss out of us when we went into administration? At least we didnt get relegated during this low period ! Hopefully Keane will have learned some leassons from that period at Sunderland (only time will tell I guess) - but cant say Delia has learnt much from Ipswich''s recent demise though. Which should be enlightening for you lot , as she had plenty to "say" about how ITFC was (poorly) run during this period.
 16. You have like any other Club , "ambition". What you lack, is financial backing to facilitate this ambition. And even then , having "money" is no guarentee of "success." I think there has been a catalogue of errors by an "out of their depth" , owners . The first mistake of note was to sack Worthington and relplace him with a quick succession of weaker managers. Your Club''s decline almost mirrors this continual upheavel. Your owners current choice of manager is one bourne out of desperation (and this is in no way meant as a slur on Gunn''s character, as he  is a thoroughly decent honest guy). But Smith''s decision to give him the job smacks of the "cheap option". But this could come back to bite her in the arse. You could have done with someonelike Ince tbh , who has experience (contacts?) at this level. But thecruical question is , could you have afforded him or someone like him . I doubt it - and that in itself is perhaps the biggest worry you have. Finacial backing, or lack of it!
 17. Not wishing to be controversial here guys. But can norwich actually afford Alan Lee ? He was costing us nearly £10k a week in wages and frankly, he IS over the hill (which is why we got shot). I doubt he''d manage a full season as your leaing striker and would fall by the wayside as a 90 min player once the honeymoon period (to impress and secure a contract from ncfc), has passed!
 18. ...and the NCFC Board "shafted" 25,000 norwich city fans . And are still doing so!
 19. could be worse I suppose  - you could have got Gunny !! Seriously though  as much as Gunn is a "nice guy" - it does smack of "the cheap option" for you guys. And Im sure there will be mixed responses to it. I suspect ncfc will push on next season with your youngsters and a smattering of experienced older heads (Lee?) . But wages will no doubt be a constraining factor in who you actually manager to get in. Do you think you''ll hang onto the likes of Clinghan and Wes H ?
 20. Simple question.   Can you actually AFFORD Alan Lee? He was on nearly £10k  a week at Town. As a League One outfit now , you may find a few painful decisions will soon have to be made !
 21. If I may offer my opinons on your question - Obviously I am an Ipswich fan, but I stress, "I come in peace" ! IMHO : Apart from your fiercest rivals  (who would obviously never seriously consider watching you anyway) - norwich city dont have any real "competition" for it''s fan base. You also have a captive fan base via the large student population that migrates to norwich each year to live and study at the UEA and whom are offered concession student prices(Ive seen the NCFC posters at UEA offering very cheap, match day prices )  Your Club''s pricing policy has also been favourable for a few years. By offering  a large proportion of your fan base very good concessions, & "easy payment" terms that ordinary  fans can cope with , rather than stumping up nigh on £450 all at once or via three cheque payments (that ITFC has traditionally requested) and your ST prices are on average £150 cheaper than those of ITFC. You were in the Premiership only four years ago and the Club still has (until this season) a relatively high "feel good" factor. Your support is remarkable , it is true. But Town also had a very good average gates (arouynd the 27,000 mark) long after we were relegated - but since that relegation we have been through administration, had the equvilant of two decent squads "given away" as a result, and have now effectively been in the second tier of English football , almost twice as long as you. It must also be said, that post administration days , Town fans have had to watch some pretty poor football as the only players we could afford were journeyman and twighlight careered players most of whom could give a flying F@@@ about the Club that paid their wages. Little wonder the "Blue support" has dwindled. Town fans have been short changed for a good few years now. However, Football is cyclical & for the moment Norwich now find themseleves in a similar position to that of Ipswich Town only a few years ago. IF you get relegated tommorrow (and that''s by no means a "dead cert" - I  for one, can see you escaping on GD), the re build of your Club (as this is what IMO is required, from the "top down") will probably take your nigh on ten years - unless you can achieve a wealthy owner (as we have been lucky enough to do). Will your good support continue ? I dont know that it will, especially in these tough financial times and with people losing their jobs - season tickets can over night become a luxary item and non essential. Also  having to watch poor teams (league one?) or (a your own team may be poor,  if you are unable to attract decent players yourself) is hardly conducive to parting with in excess of £400 each season. So it would be totally understandable if your fan base dwindled.   As a true football fan of my Club & despite all rivalry, I sincerely DO wish you well tommorrow at Charlton - the derby games are special and certainly as fierce as any "big club" derbies (those outside East Anglia have''nt got a bloody clue OUR derby tbh) and both sets of fans would want them to continue Im sure - so for that fact alone I hope you stay up. COYB !
 22. Possibly after he''s got us promoted to the Premiership ! We''re under no illusions. But then again he might like the rural area and like many people that move to East Anglia - stay !
 23. Plymouth 2 Barnsley 1   Charton 1 Norwich 2
 24.
Denial, anger, acceptance and so it comes to pass that for quite a few of us we will shrug our shoulders and walk into The Valley, sit and watch whatever fate throws at us, shrug our shoulders once more and leave.    It’s been coming for a long time, Götterdämmerung of the Yellows.
For what it''s worth , I think you lot will escape the drop by the skin of your teeth and survive on goal diff. I cant see Barnsley getting a poiny at Plymouth and Charlton are obvioulsy going to filed a vastly weakend side thereby giving you yet another lifeline ! However the long term prospects of ncfc are far less certain, and another season of struggle and over use of loanees with little of no finacial back to speak of , will surely end in tears this time next season!
