1. and regarding the Malky speculation from sky, they don''t know jack just putting 2 and 2 together. They have to make stories or it would be a useless channel.
2.
No I feel sad and gutted.I think people read too much into PL. He''s a pretty straight forward guy who doesn''t show a lot of emotion. I honestly am concerned that we''ll never find another manager worthy to match him.
as sad and gutted as you were the day after 7-1 defeat, didn''t think so. We are still in the best position the club has been in what 25 years. Don''t forget that it is Mcnally that has engineered club finances to be sound enough for us to survive long term will giving the manager a good budget, 15mil spend last year. He will appoint a top manager again and we will fight on.
3.
You fancy Chris Hughton as the new manager? Terry Connor?
Whats Terry Connor got anything to do with Chris Houghton. Personally think Houghton could be the man to build upon Lambert''s achievements.
4. Please not malky, don''t want to see a club legend tarnished again. I really like Chris Houghton, done a fantastic job at Newcastle, was sacked unfairly. Done a good job at brum, and it looks like west brom are getting the ex schalke manager. There seems to be much dislike for Houghton here, and its not a footballing reason.
5. think its the press association that do things with stats, might be wrong though, think they do goal scorers and that gets sent round to final score, gillete soc sat etc
6. wilberforce really isnt that bad! He isnt ever going to be a prolific striker even in the championship but he is more of a target man and helps bring in the other striker. A strike force of jackson and wilbraham would be very good in the champ. He works hard aswell, he isnt going to set the world alight but cost less than one week of joey bartons wages. I actually quite like him!
7. 800k for a 21 year old who already looks premiership quality with bags of potential is an absolute bargain! Dont think he is technichaly good enough at the moment to play as a midfielder and fox definatly has the best distribution in the squad, but promising times for ayala.
8. tbh getting 7 seats together is going to be nigh on impossible, you would definatly need the super memberships and order within the first 30 mins of them going on sale.
9.

There must be 100s of football clubs that are obsolete now for one reason or another that fans were equally as fanatical about. Sh!t happens, you just hope it never happens to you.
Its this kinda attitude which would have seen us sit by in ''39. You''d be happy with Borussia Warsaw and Bayern Krakov annexing the UEFA Cup now? You ok with VfB Shrewsbury and Eintract Oldham? Think on eh?
wouldnt be all bad, would have terracing still, match ticket would be 15DM, would be aloud to drink as much beer during the game as we liked....
10. tickets for wigan or bolton will be the easiest to come by, as they wont take their full allocation meaning an extra 1000 tickets for norwich fans maybe more in the case of wigan. You can get beer but its not aloud to be drunk in view of the pitch. So basically drink in the bar under the stands pre game half time etc. Best way of securing tickets is really by purchasing a super membership, without one it maybe very tough and having one doesn''t guarantee tickets by any stretch. Look for the date the tickets are released to super members and purchase them that morning they are released. If not call the club ticket shop they can be very helpful especially if you explain your coming over from abroad for the game.
11. Was thinking that if there was ever a last ever norwich game i dont think i could attend being too sad, a darlo fan posted the same thing but said the post had inspired him to make it! Great piece. Good luck darlington!
12. poor south folk will enter the relegation zone this month :) Hopefully they stay up, being relegated can have a few platinum linings....oh wait not with evans and clegg in charge or the least loyal support in the region.
13. everytime they attack they create space and leave our defenders. Everytime we attack its the complete opposite. This half has really highlighted our defensive frailties.
14. dont think the chant is terribly bad but bale certainly had the last laugh, there are a few players you dont want to wind up, bale is probably one of them. Fair play to him giving the stick back aswell.
15. everton are very skint dont think they have had a net spend in the transfer market for going on 5 years. Just shows moyes has done a really good job with his playing budget cut year on year.
16.

I guess it''s easy to say, but I''m rather sure had McNally been in place earlier we wouldn''t''ve had the hotel. The excuse Doomy used was it was a regular income or something like that. It never really sat right with me, because we''ve had capacity crowds (as near as damn it) for around 10 years, so a corner infill would''ve still brought in a regular income anyway. A hotel in a stadium at a ground that never sells out yes, that makes sense.
From memory the cost of an infill there would have been something like £4m for around only 1,500 extra seats. That is compared to £9m for 8,000 seats in the Jarrold, which had to be rebuilt for safety reasons. With the cost of that, plus the comunity infill on the other end of the Jarrold, we had to go seriously into debt. Spending another £4m at that time simply wasn''t justified, and could have landed us in real financial trouble. The only sensible alternative to the hotel would have been to leave the space vacant. That way we wouldn''t have had the income from the hotel, but we would later, if we were to cement our place in the Premier League, have had more flexibility in terms of stadium expansion. That said, given the high cost of infills, we still might have decided it was too costly a project for so few seats. If McNally had been around back then I can say with a fair degree of certainty that he wouldn''t have recommended building that infill. He might have suggested leaving the area vacant. Equally he might have gone for a hotel.
all good stuff, i read on swiss ramble that the avviva infill cost around 3.2m. And considering we broke covenants with our creditors when in league one, which bowkett managed to get them to delay debt payments that extra 4m odd debt could of put us over the edge so to speak.
17. according to the guardian the foxes had a 6m bid turned down in june. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/dec/22/bristol-city-nicky-maynard-sale?newsfeed=true His goal scoring record is good, but its not amazing only scored 20+ in one season back 2 years ago. He is going to be expensive, and probably not much of an improvement on Holt and Morrison, if at all. Not worth it IMO. He has potential but we have the "twin towers" banging them in, with a leaky defence. An assured CB for 3-4m would benefit us a lot more, and would probably consolidate our prem status, with a comfortable finish.
18. The whole country doesnt think much of wolves, in the same league as leeds, west ham, man utd etc
19. thats why standing areas will likely just be adults only.
20. they have a 25000 terrace at Dortmund and as far as im aware its very safe. Only a matter of time before we are standing in the barclay once more....
21. i hope so only 23 years of age and is definite prem quality and with experience really could be a top player, with walker and corluka at spurs he isnt going to get the game time he needs to develop. Is he on a season loan or till january?
22. Funny they sing that gay hymn about us "running" when it seems all their lads couldnt run two shirters.
