  1. Keep that tin hat on, he oozes class i think if we were to put mad marc in you would see how much of an improvement Javier is on what we''ve had.
  2. Teams like Everton, Sunderland and Villa are saddled with debt don''t know exact figures but i know its not pretty, and are losing money at alarming rates, we are about to virtually debt free meaning all extra revenue can be directed to the team, where as the aforementioned will not get maximum benefit from the extra money. We really are well placed to become an establish Prem side.
  3. Think we have paid them circa £3m now. And he will complete a medical at the end of the season and all the final paperwork completed on when the window opens, when the rest of the fee will be paid.. If he gets a serious injury and subsequently fails the medical we could either persist with the signing or we''ve lost £3m on this deal. If god forbid we get relegated then i have no idea what the outcome would be. Whatever happens Sporting will get £3m from us.
  4. Would of thought it would take a lot more than £5m but would be another massive coup! Sporting need the money ASAP worth a try.
  5. Massive statement of intent, will help attract players in the summer and keep hold of the likes of Snod, Ruddy, Bassong. Targeting top half next season?
  6. Legend end of. Who remembers him coming down with blackpool just before we signed him, tore us apart somthing stupid..
  7. Im sure at 20-30 quid a pop we could sell nearly 35k for the bigger games. At current casual prices capacity is probably about right.
  8. Positives: Fulham never really troubled us look solid at the back. Snodgrass played well and Kamara looked really lively. Pull 8 points clear from the drop. Lack cutting edge though in attack, maybe Kamara is what we need seems to have a spark, We are going to grind out enough points to be safe, Hughton will build a more expansive team with a fair whack to spend in the summer!
  9. You have to feel sorry for them, players fighting, on the piss the night before a match, loan sharks turning up at the training ground, struggling to stay in the championship, dwindling crowds similar to Preston fucking North End, pissed 20 million up the wall by two "Football manager" and now their own player is sticking two fingers up to the club and it''s fans, the handful left of them. Wait a minute its bloody hilarious what was i thinking.
  10. http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/cricket/olly_stone_returns_record_bowling_figures_as_england_under_19s_chase_series_win_1_1865531 Looks like we could of finally produced a bit of world class talent!
  11. Couldn''t watch it, such a terrible situation. Can''t believe the people there aloud him to go on stage, makes me sick.
  12. The shame is it is probably another 6 months from then till we see Ruddy at pre injury form. Confidence that GK''s get from playing regularly makes such a difference. Most keepers start of shaky and improve lots.
  13. The guy is a Mourinho wannabe will never get anywhere near his idol. Is an arrogant cunt and has no respect. This is shown by his complete surprise at stokes tactics last year, he didn''t consider them a threat.
  14. Yup and thats why all these players want to come here, not cos its the best leauge but because its the money. For me the German League is the best in the world but the wages are no where near as high unless your at Bayern, maybe Dortmund aswell.
  15. Look at the some of his goals, you will notice that the finishes are of the highest caliber, he will score goals and add to the team game. 0.5 goal ratio for a struggling team in a decent European league is very good. Plus he is perfect age as he will only improve and improve even further playing against better opposition week in week out. If we pull this off it will be a massive coup and i will be wetting myself.
  16. Newcaslte have just splashed the cash and although the fee for Gouffran was minimal he was on 80k a week at his previous club. Not many players come to England to take a pay cut either.
  17. On the cheap? Who do you think we are, we''re not bloody Real Madrid or PSG. A rough guess at our spend to date would be 25m maybe, and we know there is 10m at least more to come from the bids for Graham and Hooper. So 35m spent in 18 months, from the position we were in 3 years ago is a phenomenal sum. Blackpool did it on the cheap spent 6million since they were promoted to date on transfers .
  18. ^^^ haha, being an Essex boy i''m sure he would be quite partial to a move down here.
  19. If we go down then we have a rip roaring striker that tore up that league with Bloody scunthorpe, and we have a salable asset because he is such a good age.
  20. Pales into insignificance if his goals keep us in the prem for the length of the contract, plus if he does well i''m sure we will make money on him. Goal scorers cost money, we paid 3.5m for Ashton and Earnshaw, what 7 years ago, neither with a good premier leauge record, there is so much more money in this league than then, soon to get even more, we need to stay up this season.
  21. Top pro, more than very useful in the championship, never let us down. Will be missed!
  22. If we have to pay a bit over his true value thats fine, we are in a strong financial position, strongest we have ever been in, and their is a massive pay day just for staying in this league this year. Some people you can''t please, not enough ambition rabble rabble rabble, then we show some too much money rabble rabble rabble.
  23. Graham won''t cost anywhere near that, more of a case if he chooses us or anyone of the host of team interested. Hooper might cost near that, 8m is the apparent valuation.
