1. Huddersfield as I have just over £500 riding on it. Put £20 on Norwich, West Brom, Newcastle ,Huddersfield & Notts County. My mate done the same but added Potsmouth, Hull & Burnley to go down to it and in comes out over £3000
 2.

I was being sarcastic. They''re both awful. Dawson is being talked up by the Spurs loving media, but in reality has no positional sense and will be destroyed in the tournament. Sol Campbell should be called up immediately. Carragher + Campbell is the best we can do.
If Ledley King can stay fit then I would have him in my starting XI regardless. Still think he''s our most talented centre back.
I agree, but its whether he can play the amount of games is the issue.
Its such a shame he''s had the problems he has but he has shown signs of improvement this season.. Played 3 games in 8 days towards the end of the season but I agree it is a risk.

 4.
Regardless of what he has doen, he is a top centre back, who is a leader and would not let us down. I''d be gutted if true!
Same here. I really could give a toss what he does in his personal life as long as he does the business on the pitch.
 5.
"He doesnt have the right to represent us in the world cup" He does - as the manager picked him, and he wants to play... that''s kinda how it works.
Putting aside the issue of whether he has the right to play for us or not I''m more concerned about the fact he hasn''t earned his place in the squad beacuse he''s been garbage this season (and arguably last).
 6.
England''s 30-man provisional squad for the World Cup finals: Goalkeepers: Joe Hart, David James, Robert Green. Defenders: Leighton Baines, Jamie Carragher, Ashley Cole, Michael Dawson, Rio Ferdinand, Glen Johnson, Ledley King, John Terry, Matthew Upson, Stephen Warnock. Midfielders: Gareth Barry, Michael Carrick, Joe Cole, Steven Gerrard, Tom Huddlestone, Adam Johnson, Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Scott Parker, Theo Walcott, Shaun Wright-Phillips. Forwards: Darren Bent, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Emile Heskey, Wayne Rooney.   I didn''t think the squad was ''that'' bad to be fair.
Interesting.. Suprised Ashey Youngs not in there.. Would prefer him to Lennon. I think Huddlestone will struggle to make the final 23. I really hope Adam Johnson gets in as he offers us something different to the one-dimensional Lennon SWP and Walcott. The most telling thing from this squad is how poor our forwards are these days. We really need Rooney to carry our frontline
 7.
They were idiots for saying that but we all knew it, but you must be even more of an idiot for starting a thread just to prove they were wrong
Why were they idiots for saying it? At the time based on how the rest of the season had gone our projected final points total would be 98 or something silly like that, but football''s a funny game and things can turn around just like that.
 8. I left after 20 minutes on the first day of the season but there was somewhere I had to be... Anywhere else! It can be irritating I must admit but Im sure some have valid reasons. I dont get the "traffic beaters" but they pay their money I guess.
 9.
I thought the whole back four were 10/10. Tremendous!
Doc & Nelson KILLED league ones player of the year!!!! For all Leeds possesion thet never looked like scoring!
 10. Its naive of anyone to think it would be a whitewash.. Leeds will be more up for this game than any this season.. We have looked poor so far and havent kept the ball well, that said we''ve looked solid at the back and Leeds have really created nothing. Lets hope we come out and play like we know we can in the second half!
 11. Certainly will be.. Its a win win situation for us.. If Leeds lose the bottle is on.. If Leeds win then that keeps Millwall at bay.. If its a draw then its all good..
 12. I''d definatly take a draw today.. Im going for 1-1 with the goal coming from Ginger Pele!
 13. Completely inevitable. That bunch of jokers hate to admit when a mistake was made. I think if you asked 100 people if that was a sending off at least 99 would say its not.
 14.
Aaaah now thats useful. I was thinking about getting a Blackberry for my new phone ... might have to reconsider now [:)]
Dont do it. Most unreliable un-user friendly phone I''ve ever had. Cant stand the thing
 15.
He is on loan until the end of the season, I don''t think he can be sold.
It all depends on whether Newcastle have a recall clause as part of deal. If they do theres nothing we could do to keep him.
 16.

Just a snippet in the Star, but interesting given Preston have Ferguson-lite in charge. Can''t see it happening with PNEs current poor form.
THE STAR! to quote the great roy chubby brown ''''its the only paper if you wipe your a*se with it, more sh*t comes off the paper'''' theres nowt in the local press
Ha ha, that''s excellent. Did you know that local musician Lee Vasey is the nephew of Roy Chubby Brown?
Makes sense as his real name is Royston Vasey more famous for league of gents
 17.

“I wish I''d been there a few years earlier when I was a lot fitter because I would have stayed. I had a good career, but Norwich is probably the only place where I didn''t perform, which I regret.
I wish he''d been here earlier as well. Despite his lack of fitness there were times when he did play for us that his ability showed and you could tell he was a good footballer. Seems a very honest guy who always speaks well.
He showed brief moments of quality when he was here. I remember him changing the game when we were bottom of the league and 2-0 down at home to the scum.
 18. I cannot abide this bloke.. Hes a complete con artist t*sspot. Always has been, always will be. But still people will continue to make out hes some kind of Saint as hes got that cheeky chappie image. I for one hope he goes down.
 19. Who on earth is going to want to take that job now. What an absolute joke that club has become now
