  1. OK, can we clear up how tall Oli is? Have heard 5''11" and 6''1"... as well as 2 very differing reports on him.
  2. Hook line and stinker!! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!
  3. We all love Wes Hooly, His Missus tells good stories! na na na na, na na na na We all love Miss Hoolie, she''s comes from Balamory! na na na na, na na na na We all love Wes Hooly, lets go to Balamorie! na na na na, na na na na! It works slightly better if you sing it in a Scottich accent :)
  4. Sorry, I didn''t make it clear, they were asking Col U how much compensation for AB to come to Burnley!!
  5. In Norwich''s fair city where the girls are so pretty I first set my eyes on Delia Smith as she wheeled her wheelbarrow down to the carrow singing yellows, the yellows, We Love Lambo!!
  6. Arthur Whittle, I tihnk you''ll find that they are just 2 places off the drop and could actually be in the rele zone this weekend...?
  7. What do you expect Morty... That he is going ot goof it up and tell us that Gunn was first choice manager and he threw a tantrum when McNally gave him the elbow? I expect this to be the case tbh... shows that they all have some sense really.
  8. I thought this was a joke thread, but have spoken to my contact and Burnley have enquired about compensation that would be due to Col U... but not made an approach!!!
  9. Um... he''s just bought us some new players and has the possibility of adding a trophy to his CV... yes, I think we can catch Leeds, I am being optimistic this year... don''t want to be so negative about our great club. Burnley will more than likely get relegated and therefore this time next year we would be playing agianst them (fingers crossed) NCFC have bigger crowds and could still be seen as the "bigger" club.
  10. OK, whilst I am in agreement that not everything can be landed at Roeder''s feet, I think there has been a misconception/misquote... This is the paragraph that I presume you read and felt was a point that had to be questioned... "The Canaries loaned 18 players last season, with the club paying six-figure signing-on fees and wages without purchasing any players that the club could consider a sellable asset." It doesn''t say that it was a six-figure sum for all 18 players... more like per player!! Also, considering the players we got in on loan were Pram/Champ players, they are more likely to carry not only larger wages, but larger signing on fees. Adding the sheer amount of players we had on loan... even if the signing on fees were £100,000 per player (not unusual) this is a low price to get someone on loan and with 18 players is £1.8m, and this is without wages and the fact that some will be more than the £100k previously stated. Bertrand was here for a whoel season and no doubt we would have to pay the majority of his wages... so if you actually break it all down... This £5m is n''t far off... This is just my calculation, is this unrealistic?
  11. I am going to hold judgememnt on this one. I didn''t know anything about McKenzie when he came along and he was a decent player at Champ level (he''s shot now btw) Will look up his stats on Champs (old money) tonight. Think it does clearly indicate the door is open for Cureton. Simple and effective song already churned out of mind for the lad... let''s hope he can earn the right to have the fans sing it!! Oliii, Oliii, Oliii, Oliiiii... Johnson (Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole... Solskjaer) OTBC!!
  12. there is the fact taht we dont have spare seats to give them. If you take away the season ticket holders and the away fan allocation, there isn''t a lot... if any left to offer anyway. I have to say that this is one area we are living within our means on, and could actually add a few more seats too!
  13. oh. so she turns up at CR for the Prem season and then clears off... guess she must just like the way she looks in yellow... and pantene!!
  14. It seems that Lsibie is staying at Col U for the time being... does anyone else think he is staying for another month just so he can play against us again?
  15. I would just like to say that possibly the reason we are playing better this year is the spins of the team are championship players and we are a diviosn below that... hence we should be seeing better football and we should be winning matches. One of the keys I think is that at times we did play some great stuff last season... but no end product from a bunch of loanees getting "game time". As for the mention of the undersoil heating... I am proud that this is being mentioned. WAY, you be able to work it out...? Lastly, the sneezing thing would explain a few things... not my proudest moment and definitely a mood killer.LOL. Not a bad read WITS! Keep it up.
  16. I have to say that Mylene has lost that soemthing about her... sold out to Pantene and numerous others... also saw her "party trick" of basically dislocating her shoulders and playing the panio facing the opposite direction... FREAKY! I quite like the lass that was in S Club 7 who is a City fan, dont see much of her these days though. Think she came from Yarmouth...? yummers!! http://english.pravda.ru/img/idb/photo/001-1892.jpg
  17. how does he celebrate, no one to hug or rejoice with...? If Wigan scored... where did they run to? he must get the award for most loyal fan surely? Would look great on the ticket sales sheet! lol they might as well have closed the stand and given him a seat on the bench!
  18. OK First Wizard, he got a hat trick against Col U... but how many should he have had... 5 or 6 by my count... I am afraid he is over teh hill, and wish him well as I have always done. Shame it never worked out for him.
  19. how are they supposed to put a price on compensation for people who drove..? also, how much would you be happy to get? would a tenner do? or £17 like the price of the coaches...? Do you want the club to spend money on admin staff to wade through petrol receipts and parking tickets so that you can all stay happy? OK, so the game was called off, and I would be gutted too. But there are so many games called off all over the country, when was the last time we had a game called off? how often does it happen? I feel for the folks that have gone there, I do... but some realism needs to be put in place here.
  20. Haha! Thanks for bringing this one back!! I banged on about him being played behind the strikers at the start of the season when everyoen was telling him to get lost, to cash in and no end product. I wonder if Lambert took his tactics from my post to be honest.. :)
