Vaughan's Injury
Chelmsford Canary replied to First Wazzock's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Plastic surgery is quite common. A mate needed plastic surgery when he went threw a window and cut his face in several places. Think he would be ok -
New Rule Change Idea

I think the Tamas red card should be classed as next two WBA games, and when Norwich play them next. Although there is problem if a red card is issued in second half of season! -
Our strikers are not good enough
Chelmsford Canary replied to St.John Cooper's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
When we were here 2004/05 we had Huckerby. His pace is now missing, from the current line up. Therefore I would try Vaughan or Jackson from the start. Remember we had Gary Doherty playing up front for early part of that same season! -
Who has impressed you the most so far?

I have to agree with Tierney. Looks excellent. Not to sound full of doom and gloom, but I can see him being a target for other clubs with his current performances -
THE INJUSTICE - A CUNNING PLAN

Watching Man City vs Napoli at moment. They have the two extra officials behind goal line. Is this another possible for league games as well as European? Its proved to be success in Europa League if its now in Champs League too. If they do not like tv in dugouts and managers hassling the 4th official, i''m no expert, but it can''t be hard to have a 4th official as usual, and then have a "TV judge" in an enclosed area within stadium who watchs game, and is linked to ref on pitch? This again is something else which happens in rugby! I might go on about it a lot - but rugby has much less controversy than football. Other than the kick that wasn''t at the world cup this weekend -
THE INJUSTICE - A CUNNING PLAN
Chelmsford Canary replied to 25overpar's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Just thought, it would /could be implemented in games such as Stoke where the foul was outside box, the ref would have given free kick rather than pen. The game the result would not have changed as Ruddy saved, but if/buts/maybe Walters had scored we would be walking out with nil points that day -
THE INJUSTICE - A CUNNING PLAN

Its not just goal line tech that needs to be looked at, but the penalty box. Any unsure incident that happens in the box can be reviewed, whether that is handling, foul, ball over line, off ball elbow to the chops. Then the ref/4th official can decide. Anyone responds telling me it will slow the game down, or any other rubbish excuse. If this was implemented like last weekend, the likely result would have been 1 point to the city. It works in other sports, Cricket, Tennis, Rugby, and it has not made an huge effect to the game - but at least justice has a chance of being put right! -

London. If you want the best players, they will want to go to places/Cities that have good nightlife, big houses, airport links etc. Why would you buy a club that is based in the middle of no where, and the main nightlife is Prince of Wales? -
I thought this thread was going to be about, how Holt / Morsion is no different to Best!

Tamas Charged
Chelmsford Canary replied to Jerzy Krukowski's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
What about our point for a draw after the penalty? Does that get changed too? I''m still bubbling with anger! -
I''m starting to think that being a team similar to our opponents yesterday, where over the last ten years they have been up and down, but at least they have some sort of excitement, a relegation battle might not be exciting when you think about it, but who would disagree that the last day of 2004-05 season was not exciting - not knowing where we would be. West Brom have made an art of getting promoted the following year after being relegated.

Respect the ref? Its a two way thing - if they show no respect why should the managers not comment and say exactly what the situation is, their actions mean points. Today is classic

Totally agree about the communication. Rudd is four years younger than Ruddy, and he spent several years out on loan etc etc when at Everton. This is what Rudd needs, as his learning curve is at the top level currently. Joe Lewis went to Morecambe and Stockport on loan. Rudd should have done same, and we get Marcus H as Nr 2

WE DONT HAVE THE REQUIRED QUALITY
Chelmsford Canary replied to Norwich R Us's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Just beacuse their keeper did not have much to do. We got into excellent positions, and better finishing we would have scored. I don''t recall any clear chances for WBA other than the goal and the post, and obviously the pen - which should not have been. Its not all about goals to make a performance. Tierney and Naughton made excellent crosses. Our attacking side of the team is not the problem. Its defence, and I could have seen this ages ago in the summer. Rudd was excellent. Peter Odemwingie was Sky''s man of match. Scored a poachers goal, missed a pen, what else? Not saying a NCFC player should have got the award, but hows that for tinted glasses - one goal and your man of the match? Bollox -

I may have my NCFC goggles on. But we were the better team today -
Think him and Crofts do very well in the middle, but need Wes his passing is missed, and he works so well with Holt. They are on same wave length

Time to go back to square one.....
Chelmsford Canary replied to LeJuge's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
i thought when Vaughan and Morison came on we did not look as good. But Vaughan looks a hand full, so will do very well. Naughton has done nothing wrong. De Laethas made a few errors, but we have no options with Zak, Ward, and Ayala out. -
I''ve got to admit there are so many things that I would love to see Football take on that Rugby does. I enjoy rugby, and love footy. Football is now played by a bunch of pussies, compared to rugby - I went to the double header at twickenham last week, one bloke was knocked out twice and continued to play...Drogba gets carried off on a stretcher. Yes people will say he gets paid more, but they really put their bodies on the line for the team. It annoys me when I see Nani, Ramieres etc falling over. You get hit by a front row and you will really know about!
