2. A sensible decision made by an excellent family club and the news that Rafa Benitez is likely to take over only reinforces this, I imagine when it''s revealed that they were falsely accusing referees of racism also, they will be the envy of every country up and down the land.
3. A team of former captains managed by one of the most respected managers in English football with a secure and supportive board who invest with love as much as they do with cash, it shouldn''t be surprising that we are doing well but I was fearing the worst after the Fulham game, still plenty of time to go, long may it continue
4. Charlie Austin will cost way more than 6m and Zaha will never come to Norwich, he is bound for a Manchester Club or Arsenal. I can''t believe some of the figures people talk about on here.
5. Lots of people will say defensive players like Tettey, Bassong and Turner and although I would agree with that I still think it''s vital that Grant Holt stays fit. I know that Grant is starting to have another little dry patch but I think he is the only player that gives us any real presence up front and I think we''re psychologically different when he''s not in the team, until we have some more quality up front; Holt is the one player I would most hate to see injured.
6. Chamakh would be a terrible signing... He''s got to be one of Wenger''s worst signings.
7. Good post Bethnal, I''m still sick over Victor Moses.. I''m gutted he chose Nigeria over England.. I think it was probably a case of first come first served.
8. Name and shame but I don''t think you should ban, I find the views of the EDL and the Nazi''s odious had I been in Norwich last weekend and not in Seoul I would have been on the anti-EDL demonstration on the other side of the city, I believe in freedom of speech however and if the culprit is directly abusing another invidual or player then I think the scumbag has the right to make nazi salutes.
9. I came on this thread for knockers and I am very dissapointed, I guess I''ll go back to Brazzers.
10. He talks about the dust settling but memories are long in football, I still distinctly dislike Mike Walker and Martin O''Neil. If he loves the fans so much and feels so hard done by the way he is perceived why doesn''t he come out and tell the truth? I think he has got a touch of the Lance Armstrongs.
11. I hearby retract any positive statements I made about Mister Chops following his posting of the relegation mini-league.
12. I don''t particuliarly like the man but AVB has a fantastic grasp of the English language, I''m always very impressed with the way he talks in his post match interviews he puts alot of native speakers to shame.
13. He''s going to be way more than 3 million quid, I just had a quick glance and it looks like Villa and Newcastle are interested in him. If you think about how much Jay Rodriguez cost then I would imagine Austin would be more than 3 million.
14. Ahh skijump you got there before me! hahahahaha
15. That''s a good point TC I forgot about the size of our waiting list, sad to see some of those prices though, imagine being an Arsenal fan with a couple of young kids, there is no way you could afford to go every week unless you''re very wealthy.
16. I wish the premier league would introduce a wage cap or improve upon the financial fair play rules so fans don''t have to pay even more just to fulfill the wage demands of overpaid football players.
17. We''re pretty expensive looking at that table... at least it''s all being heavily invested in to our transfer budget...oh wait.
18.
People have to ask themselves what they want.   Do they want to develop as a side in the premiership  or not?     If you just want to be cannon fodder then carrying on after last season playing in the same way - bags of enthusiasm and being thrashed by Man City and Liverpool (yes we were thrashed last season at Cara Rd by Liverpool, in case anyone had forgotten).   then that is fine.
We''ve been battered three times in seven games this season and we''re yet to play Man City. Our goal difference is rubbish at least when we played with bags of enthusiasm we were scoring goals up the other end. The defeat at home to Liverpool was a bad result, I know they have world class players and blah blah but they were out of form when they came down to our place and couldn''t buy a goal, I think a few other smaller teams in this league would have made them sweat at lot more than we did.
19. This is Glenn Roeder all over again, you can harp on all you want about chances we created and X,Y,Z but we have started accepting defeat again. At least when we lost to Chelsea and Fulham away last season we fronted up and had a go, we have to give Hughton time because the season is still young and he has not been here long but he will be sacked before the end of the season, it just isn''t clicking, we gave up our attacking intent to be more defensivley sound and our goal difference is already a joke. We have a powder puff strike force that is balanced on the back of Grant Holt and Simeon Jackson (who isn''t particuliarly consistent). We are going down and hard unless either the manager goes or we spend a shit load on a quality striker in January.
20. Did he say it was an "acceptable response"? He is quoted as saying “Coming in at half-time 3-1 down, with the second half – OK, it’s a terrific finish from Ivanovic to twist on it and put it in from there. But apart from that, I think we restricted them to very little. So I think you can take positives, especially from the second half. But at times we did play some good stuff and created some good chances, so we can learn from this experience.” I don''t think there''s anything wrong with what he said there, he''s just being upbeat, we are playing the european champions who have 100% record at home. I think a few teams are going to take a real pasting at Stamford Bridge this season.
21. He''s not going to slate the club or be overly negative, is he? It''s worrying if a manager says this kind of thing but when you hear it from players I always take it with a pinch of salt. I would prefer him and the players to be positive though rather than being negative.
22.  I never understand why people post links to the front page on this message board when surely everyone has already seen the front page before they click on to the message board.
23. Lambert has a previous of leaving clubs as both player and manager but if you listen to him recount it, he always tell you that he was the honest party. My gut feeling is that McNally has ballsed it up, he''s got right in Lambert''s face about talking to Villa and made his position untenable. McNally should have just let him speak to them, I know it''s easier with the benefit of hindsight but if players or coaches don''t want to be somewhere they will leave, that''s normal, I wouldn''t have held it against the board if they had allowed Paul to talk to Aston Villa, he may well have turned it down. I think it''s pretty miserable that Lambert is suing us now, he knows what the finances at the club are like, he knows how that will harm us and it''s not like he ever had the decency to explain to the supporters the reasons why he left. I think he should have just left it but now this is going to go on and on and on.
24. Who cares anymore? What does it matter? The bloke is a toe rag, he wormed his way out of playing for Motherwell because he wanted more money, he weasled himself out of the Colchester job to come to Norwich and then lo and behold he did the same to us. If he gets it right at Villa he will do the same to them and so on and so forth. He has a previous of looking out for himself and not giving a toss about anybody else, so what, I wouldn''t care much about being loyal to football supporters, look at the way some of  you lot call for Chris Hughton''s head after a friggin game, what loyalty that is.
