1. I think it''s the area we most need improving, first team wise actually, espeically the centre mids. Surman and Crofts roles have been vital in how we have attacked and defended. They have to work hard to make sure that the defence has some cover apart from Fox, and then they have to make forward runs and make sure they are always moving to keep the attack going. They also tend to close the wingers and full backs alot too. I think the two centre midfielders, Surman and Crofts aren''t going to be good enough to play consistently in the Premiership and in this role. Don''t get me wrong, they done fantastically last season but I feel we need some quality in them two positions they play in as they are vital to the side. I think Tamir Cohen can definitely fill the crofts role as he is very good defensively but when he does attack he has scored goals.
2. The only players I''d want out of that list are Bennett and Cohen on permanents and Pacheco and Lansbury on loan, unless we could get them permanently, which I can''t see.
3. Might as well post this in here, when is it movers and shakers week? I haven''t heard anything.
4.
Since returning from injury Best has looked good in fits and starts. Reminds me of a younger Marlon Harewood - whether that is a good or bad thing I''m unsure.
A bad thing.
5. You don''t live up to your name, do you excited? I do agree though, not the quality of player we should be looking at. His goal record is poor. But then again Lambert sees something in him, in Lambo I trust.
6. I think it will all start when the Premiership finishes, shame we still have until next weekend. Don''t know why they have a 2 week gap, it''s abit of an anti climax.
7. http://www.norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=241571 Christ almighty, I really don''t want to see us signing either Carlton Cole, Herita Ilunga or Emile Heskey. I watch West Ham alot as my Stepdad supports them and Cole is not the striker we need to keep us up. Obinna however has been very good most times I''ve seen him and he is actually available on a free transfer. A nigerian Hoolahan, very quick feet and good passing range.
8.
Unless things have changed I think you''ll find that the "premiership millions" come in dribs and drabs throughout the season. I remember Wynnie explaining it when we went up last time. I think this is part of the reason the money wasn''t there for Ashton until the January.
It does come in dribs and drabs but if you can back it up to the bank (I imagine there will be a confirmation document entailing exactly what we will get and when) the bank will allow us to use it all. I know we won''t use it all on transfer fees but we shouldn''t be surprised if he used around £10-£20 million on signings in the summer.
9.
It certainly will not be a night for the lower Barclay to be singing"worst support we''ve ever seen " or " we forgot that you were here". Leaving the religious bigotry aside their fans are unbelievably passionate and vocal.I have seen them play at Hampden Park and the ground beneath your feet literally shook when they scored and i was also at Highbury when in a crowd of 28,000 for a testimonial there were 11,000 Jocks.Another memory i have is being on holiday in Lanzarote about 4 years ago and walking into a bar that i had been using all week on a Saturday lunchtime to find about 100 Celtic fans all wearing a Celtic shirt (and i mean all of them )watching Celtic on the TV.Where the hell they had all come from God knows but what an atmosphere. Riverside had better stock up on beer and no need to worry about trouble as they will be extremely friendly.
If this is the case, I''m extremely looking forward to it. Should be a great day.
10. I was thinking the same, I just think he is trying to pretend that all the money might not be there for him to spend. I doubt he was very happy about Bowkett making it public knowledge, so he is trying to rectify the decision.
11. Going straight after work at 5pm, don''t have a clue where we will go but it''ll be a bloody good atmosphere. Can''t really remember much of the last one to be honest as I was only a few years into high school, maybe because of the huge tall guy that stood in front of me. Now I''m 6ft 3 I should be able to see it all!
12. I LOVE them, but I can see it being a big let down compared to them though.
13. Suarez is by far my favourite player in the Premiership now, some of the stuff he can do with a football is incredible.
14. Exactly the case, we have a sensible but passionate board who will not put the club in jeopardy. We shouldn''t be worried whatsoever, more so optimistic.
15. To be honest I think we could maybe get away with doing this, and here me out. We still have £50+ million from parachute payments if we go down and if we stay up we will get another £42 million and maybe even more depending on where we finish. All that £42 million won''t be just used for transfers fees. Yearly wage budget and signing/agent fees are also taken account in that figure. It shows that they have complete trust in Lambert and it might also want him to stay as in future he knows he would have abit of money to work with.
16. I think he would be a handy signing but big wages will probably dictate Lambert not signing him. I can''t see Lambert even wanting him in the first place.
17. You can tell both players enjoyed the loan experience, espeically Pacheco who quite clearly wanted to show yesterday to Lambert he wants to stay, with the way he chucked his shoes into the crowd and was the last player off the pitch. I think he should bring both back. They will feel like permanent signings and we still have room for another 2 long term loan players.
18. Don''t get me wrong Banana, if Blackburn were in contention to go down I would want them down as I hate their owners and the decisions they have made at their club, but I think they are safe and it''s down to the bottom 4.
19. Whoever might be a threat next season - West Ham, Wolves and it''ll be either one of Blackpool or Wigan. Not bothered about the latter two really, as they are both very poor. West Ham and Wolves are both backed by quite rich owners so I''d want them to go down.
20. I wasn''t very impressed by him against us last Monday. I just hope he will become back up for Martin if he is to sign him. In Lambert we trust.
21. He started early with Elliot Ward at the end of May last year, I expect the same this season. He said last season that he will look to make most, if not all his signings before everyone arrives at pre season so everyone is well bonded in the group.
22. Marvin Emnes is by far there best player judging by his performance against Cardiff, he could be a very good player in the Prem under Lambert and I hope he makes a bid for him.
23. I understood exactly why everyone went on the pitch at Portsmouth as we clinched a fantastic promotion. Had we of not got promoted until tomorrow then again, a pitch invasion would of been expected and understood. But now we have clinched promotion, there isn''t any point whatsoever of going on the pitch for a nothing game. I''ll be there earlier then usually to see the player of the season announced and after to watch the lap of honour.
24. The Polish International goolkeeper at Fiorentina who played for Celtic has rejected us and West Ham apparently. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2011/05/05/artur-boruc-rejects-norwich-city-and-west-ham-offers/41528/
25.

8 homegrown, Rudd/Steer, C Martin and KSmith after those 3 we are struggling, how will we comply without drafting in kids Francomb makes 4, but 8?
They don''t have to be homegrown by the club, just the country, so almost our entire squad is homegrown.
We need 4 players brought through from academy, and and 8 English players. The 4 academy players count as english players as well. We have Martin, Smith and Rudd who will probably be selected, don''t know who lambo will use for the last one.
