1.

LDC Said "Yeah, he''s 34, but Holt was still able at 34 and Lambert is a strong player, especially for this level" Holt scored 3 times in 29 games aged 34. 2 in 16 for Wigan in the Champs (0 in 3 in the cups) and 1 in 10 for Villa in the Prem on loan. Lambert is a terrible shout. Scored 4 goals in his last 60 appearances (last 2 seasons).
Both those poor goal returns were in the premier league on very limited appearances, 44 in total, a good proportion of those as a sub. We are talking about the championship where he is absolutely proven. After all we have Jerome who was prolific enough in the championship yet struggled in the premier league and who we will need to score more heavily in the championship again. You can''t knock experience and at 34 he is not that old if he is fit enough. Teddy Sheringham and Kevin Phillips for example. We need to buy/loan success and a year''s loan or purchase of Rickie Lambert to me would be a no brainer and far better than risking £10-12m for someone like McCormack.
I suggest you take a lot more water with whatever it is you''re drinking!
 2.
Diane wrote; I wouldn''t pay £8 to be fair but then I don''t park that side of the stadium. Either do I, and wouldn''t want to pay £8 at home games, but must admit at away games I have often paid a tenner and occasionally more if using Just Park or the likes, and equally have paid £5 when just turning up and driving round looking for these "pop ups" on an industrial estate, as always these things are all about supply and demand, cant see why anyone would want to moan about it ?
Just find a road to park in for nothing and walk in. I''d tell you which road I use but you might nick my space!
 3.
I''d be inclined to blame the council. Mainly because I love Norwich City and hate the County Council. Wonder who does get the money? 0344 800 8020 They should be able to help.
Fat chance. They don''t answer the phone.

 5. I know someone currently looking for a CEO job. Is it possible to commute from Norfolk to Hartlepool on a daily basis?
 6. Never watched the original and have no intention of watching this
 7. Why not start a sweep to guess the minute the penalty will be awarded against us?
 8.
Not quite impossible, take a look at some of our ultra marathon runners !
There are ultra marathon runners and there is Eddie izzard
 9.
Who?
He''s not a Villa troll. he''s a scummer. He should be spending his time talking about Uncle Colin
 10.
Conversely though broadstairs, many players don''t break into a prem team until their mid twenties, vardy was still non league when 24 for example... Players mature at different rates and only the truly exceptional make it into a prem team whilst teenagers and being blunt, we would stand virtually no chance of signing a youngster from the lower leagues of that caliber.
And we would stand absolutely no chance if we didn''t try, would we?
 11.
"I don''t think you have the slightest clue what you are talking about. If you are expecting us to sign youngsters and expect them to be good enough for the first team straight away then you are deluded." So politely put. Who said anything about expecting these youngsters to be ready for the first team straight away? I clearly stated that some need time, whilst others didn''t and that we have yet to benefit from the latter. Thompson is twenty one now and there are plenty of his age in Premier League squads. Everton, for one example, have both Stones and Barkley, who are also full internationals. Thompson has yet to progress beyond the Swindon Town first team. Yes, it is a commendable strategy, but it is not inexpensive and it therefore needs getting right to the extent that would be nice to see at least a sign of some return on investment, sooner rather than later. I am not expecting a supply of internationals either. Madison might represent that breakthrough.
Where was Jamie Vardy when he was twenty one
 12. He cannot be human. I know miracles sometimes happen but this represents doing the impossible.
 13.

Just think Morty that if evry season ticket holder, all 22,000 of us bought a sausage roll every home game that would pay for the Colney refurb. Those rolls are about £3 each so there is a hefty mark up on them as they are about £1.20 for 6 in Morrisons.
I''m all for it, its a proper, transparent purchase. Its not like you would pay for said sausage rolls in some stealthy manner, not really knowing you were even buying them, or would have to call a premium rate number to say you don''t want one.Or maybe they are missing a trick here, and just charge you for them anyway, and its your own fault if you don''t want one, you should have read the small print.
I think you could be onto something here. The Club should include a price of one sausage roll per game in the annual agreement. They could issue a slightly amended season ticket card (perhaps with a sausage roll in the top left corner). Any supporter (aka customer) would need to opt out if they didn''t want to take advantage of this offer. Can could do this by ringing a new sausage roll hotline.

 15.

If I may say so Nutty that''s a clever answer in not answering the question. You should be a politician.Without any real faith in getting a straight answer do you agree with NCFC engaging in inertia selling ? A simple Yes or No will suffice.
I''m afrtaid that''s me Smiffy. Now if you''d asked if I agreed with the way the way this £19 was collected from my ticket but not from my grandsons the answer is I''m fine with it.[Y] Trading standards may be of more use to you[:^)] Or Watchdog[&]
I think that probably counts as a "yes" !
 16.
Back in the day this was called Inertia Selling. It''s something the FCA would have your guts for garters over, so presumably this doesn''t fall into a advised sale of any sort. "Add Ins" are a taboo subject with FCA. Buy any kind of insurance , and see if you get "legal expenses" or "Personal accident" insurance and it wont now be your duty to opt out. You have to "Opt in" This isn''t far off an add in. Yes it is explained, but the very fact that you have to do something NOT to pay it sails close to the wind IMO. You can email "optout@canaries.co.uk" or something similar so to be fair they do make it easier than is being suggested, but you wouldn''t get away with it in the Financial Services industry.
This is similar to the selling of PPI. I had a long career in the banking industry and remember customers had to tick a box if they didn''t want insurance. Most people identified ticking a box with a positive indication of wanting something, so left it blank and automatically got the insurance. Years later we have the PPI miss-selling fiasco. Despite the fact that I have told the club year after year that I do not wish to donate £19 and never will, they still add it on. There can only be three reasons for this:- 1) They can''t be bothered to listen to what I am saying. 2) The system is deliberately made to allow £19 not to be included at the point of creation of the agreement form 3) There is a deliberate attempt to obtain £19 by quasi deception, i.e. the supporters overlooks it or forgets about it. I am reasonably sure which of the above it is. Just to confirm, I have nothing against the scheme and credit to the people who make the donation. I prefer not to and I don''t think the club does itself any favours in the way it operates it.
 17.
Or why not just make it "opt in"? The season ticket holders were more than loyal when the club needed us in league one, seems the club has a short memory. I stand by my opinion that this is a bit cheeky on their part.
Correct, correct and correct !
 18.
I can''t comment about the lounges buddy. But the two issues on this thread that effect me I''m well happy with the way they are done. I guess it really depends on if there''s more of us who want to pay or more of you who don''t. Only the club would know that. But if there''s more who want to pay then we will have the same "problems" with opting in as you have opting out. I have to make this effort whatever as I want to do both. :)
I would suggest that the vast majority of people will pay it every season or not pay it every season. If they can assume you are going to pay it by including it, why can''t they not include it if you have told them season after season that you don''t want to pay it? I suggest the answer to that is they are trying to pick up those people who overlook it and forget to say "no".
 19. Any provider of services/goods to this lot need to prepare themselves for a prolonged period of s. b. time (and worse)
 20. Funny isn''t it? Wasn''t that long ago everyone was saying how Charlton was the club we should be modelling ourselves on !
 21.

When Robert Chase was in charge we use to have a good reputation for prudent spending, good scouting and buying well. City always managed to squeeze that little bit extra out of all the players they bought turning good players into very good players. Ruel Fox and Mark Robins are just two of them. That reminds me.
