I''d have thought the most obvious thing to do is to keep evening games but go and play games at Ridgeons league grounds in Norfolk and split gate receipts with the relevant club. This enables Norwich to attract young fans who may not be able to get to first team games and may stop some of them supporting the Premiership clubs. Saves money, gives benefit to local clubs and maybe attract new supporters. Also gives the opportunity to have the Ipswich game in midweek at the club.

Linked with Ipswich today, and I think he would be a massive signing for them.

If the cost is the issue, why don''t they play at Ridgeon league grounds and split proceeds with the club. It would be good all round and also forge closer links with the local communities.

Just read the below article on Simon Jordan and Crystal Palace. Sounds very similar to the place we are in with too much power in the hands of players and at the very top of the game. Throughout the first half of the season up to his injury he was one of Norwich''s best players. I admit his last half dozen games were not good but players do lose form throughout a season. Should he have to agree terms extra quickly to suit a previous employer (because they have an injury crisis -Safri out = crisis!?) or should he try and work out if the deal is good for him. Maybe he thinks living in Norwich and playing in the Championship, is better than playing in the Premiership for Wigan despite being offered more money. (Just a thought) If he comes back which is looking more on the cards I will be happy. He will realise that the only way of getting the move he wants is by playing well, and if he plays well for the first half of the season this should mean that we are near the top of the league and the position can be re-evaluated then. BTW Francis was not the reason we got relegated even though he seems to be the main focus of any abuse on this forum.

On Radio Solent, Mandaric says that they enquired on how much Green would cost and he has been quoted £2.5m. For me this seems quite fair (same as Robinson) and would help ion rebuilding the midfield. What do you think?

I''d have thought Gary Johnson at Yeovil must be quite high on any list for any vacancy in the Championship.

First it was the Board not supporting him with lots of money, and now it is the managers fault. Is this a wind-up. Personally I think he should stay and if the worst happens at the end of the season then I believe he is the right man to bring us back up. If he acheives this as per Megson at WBA and still we struggle next time in the Premiership then and then only should he be given the push. He has brought the club a long way in a short time and I feel Nigel has the ability to turn us into a regular mid-table Premiership side just maybe not this season.

All the strikers you have named play with a big man though. (except Defoe and Keane) As much as I like Paul he is not in the same class as those 2. I believe he is too small to play up front unless with a big target man and we do not have an abundance of those.Northern Ireland have less striker options than us and even they don''t play McVeigh there. McVeigh out on the wing or cutting in is his best position.Also how many goals have Forsell, Radsinski, Earnshaw and Vassell got this season?

Old Boy, how on earth can you lose form after one game! It is statements like these that make me despair, Svensson didn''t have his best game by any means but suggesting he has lost form is ridicoulous. He worked hard and defended well and if he continues working hard he will have my full support. Also on other threads suggesting that we are missing Iwan, we really are in trouble if Iwan would be our saviour this season.

Palace have agreed a fee with Millwall for Tim Cahill (a player I really rate) and with Crouch & Purse moving for 750K. All these players would do a great job for us and give us a shout of staying up but we seem to be getting left behind. How worried are you?

I think you will find it is an old Howard Wilkinson/Graham Taylor ploy nicked from some bloke called Charles Hughes (I think). With the idea being that you will have more players on the pitch than opposition (ie 1 person off pitch to take the throw) and the opposition will be stuck in their own half initially at least.

Svensson has come on in the last two home games and has made a positive impact in both. To suggest the main part of his game is to get fouled is ridiculous, his link up play was exceptional and he got Gaardsoe completely off his game and was unlucky not to be awarded a penalty. I think NW should start with him from now on and I think the likes of Santos will be far more concerned seeing his name in the line up rather than Iwan on Sunday. OTBC
