  1. I go to the game yesterday so I can comment, I think the main problem for him in the first 20 minutes is he is absolutely not a left sided player, so when he played on the left side, he was disappeared; ok when he was moving inside forward to play 4-4-2, then sometimes he get the ball, he just don''t know how to do? Lack of communication with the senior players. A game for him to forget, maybe on Saturday if we start him up front then he would be a little bit better.
  2. I sit at the City Stand so I saw the incident: a needless foul to the Cardiff player since the player had a heavy touch on the ball and the ball will go out of play, poor decision; no need to go head-to-head with the players since we are still 1-0 and did he still not happy? A new mananger just appointed for a week, when everyone included the reserves team, academy try their very best and hardness to impress the new manager, he just did the opposite thing. Anyway I don''t know how many years contract he had left for Norwich but yeah he can still staying at the club because he can still pick up wages week in week out on the bench. Personally, I should wave Goodbye to our number 18, he would not going to make it; also, change the hair style first, it was quite ugly.
  3. Yes, but how can they put my name is "Paul Lee" instead of David Lee????
  4. I think he had every right to comment about that player and please remember, it was only his second game in charge, and I am quite sure he did not know all his player''s strength and weakness. Let''s see Hucks, last week Granty said he was his important part for promotion, yesterday you heard he was doing not good enough and get him off! Hucks was coming off, did you hear much from Nigel Worthington era? That means even the best player in the club, if he did something wrong, he will still get criticised! It was a good warning to other players about they had to perform well week in week out to "earn their place" in the starting lines-up. Personal coaching was brilliant.
  5. Hello cityangel, oh Hucks live so close to Colney? I really do not know that... Hucks is a legend, definitely! So as Adam Drury too!!! :)
  6. I will watch the game on Sky and hope to see Leon play too! :)
  7. I go to Colney at this morning at 9am, saw Dion Dublin driving to Colney at 9:10am, I reported to Colney at 9:20am and saw Adam Drury and Matthieu Louis-Jean were in extra training on 9:30am. I saw Peter Grant after I go to toilet, he know who I am because when yesterday he was a guest in Soccer nights, their cameraman said a fans from Hong Kong, then he knows about m! He invited me go to the canteen to get a cup of tea, that''s very nice from him! Then the team meeting started at 10am, of course I am not allow to go in, but I was watching outside, some important informations had passed to the players. (Of course I will not disclose!) Training started at 10:20am, at first there were some running as usual, then the ball works, the free kick and corner tactics practised, then a practise game, it''s the first team against the reserves, it last about 25 minutes, as the final score 1-1, as Peter Thorne scored for the reserves and Earnie scored for the first team. After that it was shooing practise, I think it was funny, because the shooting player had different angle to recevive the ball, then blast it in about 12 yards, and mainly Paul McVeigh and Peter Thorne the main man to practise, Youssef was ballooned most of the shot over the tree (the tree!) or maybe he can only take long range shots! HAHA! I had a nice chat with Dickson, Dion, Youssef, Carl, Earnie, Adam Drury, Peter Grant and Darren Huckerby. They were very nice. I should say some other players (not all the players I did not mentioned about, but some others) were just saw me in ''transparent'' way and won''t going to say Hello (I had said Hi to them), I don''t know it''s my fault or I was too good ignore. There''s the only shame today. After a chat with Peter Grant outside the changing room, Peter Grant even invited me to have a lunch in the Colney carteen! Oh I can''t believe it! He asked the chef to ''serve this gentleman well!'', thanks Peter for that! I have two BIG PLATE of pasta with meatball, and to be honest the taste was brilliant! Delia good job! I love that... Then I walked through the Colney Lane and want to wait for the number 14 bus, at the same time, I heard someone (driving)put the horn on, then stop on the bus stop at the roadside, I had definitely no idea and I walked to the window and have a look...that''s Hucks! Darren Huckerby! Hucks asked me where do I want to go, I said I want to go to the clubshop at Carrow Road, then Hucks asked me to get on to his car and he give me a lift! OH! I CANNOT BELIEVE I WAS ON A NORWICH LEGEND''S CAR!!!!! I go to the Canary Store in about 15 minutes and we had a very nice chat, about the club, about his playing style, and about his future! Oh I really cannot believe that!!! I met Ryan Jarvis in the clubshop eventually, also took photos and had a chat with him. At last I made an ''important decision'' to change the name I want to put on second 6XL home shirt (the first shirt had Drury''s name on... A very good day...:)
  8. I am still hope to arrange it, but the possible time would be on Friday night at Carrow Park, 8 to 9pm.... Will keep update everyone if we can play...:)
  9. My source about Granty''s appointment was... NOBODY had submit application for the job after Worthy sacked, Grantly also!!! But why do we give him the job? I don''t know...
  10. clubshop! ;-) Players signing in the Canary Store, The Mall. ROBERT EARNSHAW & ADAM DRURY on the 26th October between 2pm to 3pm!!! XXL16
  11. Gallacher 6, not much to do to be honest since every Birmingham cross was crossed towards him. Good kicking. Colin 7, good understanding with Croft in the first half and did a solid job in the second half, but sometimes caught out of position, also the ever dangerous Gary McSheffrey as I expected, did not give many test to him. Drury 7, some long balls gave straight backed to the Birmingham players but again solid at the back, also good to see him and Hucks before the game outside the players tunnel, good photo with him! Hope his injury wasn''t too bad and can come back very soon. Doherty 8, very solid especially in the air, but still there was too much shirt pulling and on the other day, we may easily conceded the free kick. Safri 7, used the ball well and did some useful dirty job in the center of midfield, when he switched the ball to the left to Huckerby, it was accurate to Hucks foot or chest, but should have to shoot a bit more. Etuhu 7, better performance compared with the QPR game, put his foot in for tackle and try to make the run on the left, also, need to shoot more. Robinson 4, disappointed to say the least, 9 out of 10 balls were given to the Birmingham''s player''s feet, oh no!!! Croft 7, hard working and always want to run at defender, just need to have more understanding with Earnie. Earnshaw 7, work hard for being a lone striker, was not given any space in the first half but in the second half, he was suddenly always found himself one on one with either Jaidi or N''Gotty! Some of the shots were miss kick I think. Huckerby 9, draw the foul and his free kick made our goal again, how can the board did not offer him a contract? When he got the ball the whole Birmingham defence was hitting the panic button! SIGN HIM UP! Shackell 9, my Man of the Match again. The only mistake Shacks had made was in about 40 minutes, a miss kick outside our ''D'' but their player shoot wide; other time, he was just outstanding at the back! Did some great cover job for Drury and kept last season Championship top scorer Jerome very quiet, also scored the winning goal, ah, right? ;-) XXL16 10, five years wait was worthy, finally he saw a Norwich City away win! Come on!!! ;-)
  12. Hi everyone! My trip start on last Friday and although some delay on my flight, but I still managed to get in to Norwich on last Friday night and, have a good sleep then go to the QPR game by the club coach. It was just a but unlucky we cannot nick 3 points but it''s good to show we can at least score, delighted with Jason Shackell''s man of the match performance also Dion, when he came on as a sub he was doing quite well I think! I will go to 4 more Norwich league games, a League Cup game and also the reserves, hopefully to everyone in the game and say hi(if you saw a Chinese Buddha liked wear a Norwich shirt, that''s me!!!) also I will always in the Forum to type e-mail! Bye! :)
  13. Yes, my source told me Drury''s family had a new baby boy called Ethan. :) Must be true.
  14. I watched the whole game and saw Thorne came on, his touch was poor and very slow, even slower than Dion! Terrible! But BTW, was he match-fit?
  15. Yes I agree, please please please, the board can bring Bowen and Chippy Crook to Carrow Road!!!
  16. BTW, how long is the journey from Norwich to Stoke and Port Vale respectively? Cheers! :)
  17. Hi Vince, thanks for the reply and the informations, it''s useful!!! :)
  18. Hi Everyone, less than a week and I will come back to the City I love, I dream about all years! I am looking forward to it!!! But I have some important questions really want to know the answer, and need your help! :) What''s the weather in Norwich at this moment? What tempernature is it? Will the weather turn very cold at next few weeks? It is because I hope to know do I need to bring any heavy jacket to Norwich? I recall once I am here, the tempernature is ZERO degree but I only have the Norwich home shirt on!!! Also can I find the opening time of Morrisons and the Castle Mall? Thanks for your help and cheers! :) XXL16
  19. I received the video of the Burnley game (whole 90 minutes) and watched it yesterday, and yes I agree with Mike about there were only Hucks and Earnie were played for Worthy. Hucks was backed in training a few days and he was not not match fit, also in the 2nd half he was struggled with injury too, but chose to play on to play 90 minutes for Worthy. Earnie, we all knew he always had smile on his face on the field, but the goal he scored, a good goal of course, you can see his face was showed completely hopeless because he knew that it was too late! Also in the start of the 2nd half when Croft cross to him and he headed it high, he was so frustrated because he knew if he got that in, it''s game on. Passion and desire, I must have to say, more than Dean Ashton!!! Hucks and Earnie, definitely legend for Norwich City Football Club!!!
  20. Good luck Dion, I hope he can do a role liked Teddy Sheringham, help us get into the play-offs!
  21. Oh Norwich!!! We win 4-2!!! Loverly the Canaries, let''s hope we can have a good cup run this year! COME ON!!!! :)
  22. I was a bit shocked about Eagle have a chance to play because his position were fully occupied by Robinson, Hughes, Safri and Etuhu, but doesn''t matter because it was great for any youngster from the academy who got a chance to play. Wouldn''t see him in the first team but I think Rossi and Ryan Jarvis will get the chance very soon, with Micky Spillane too, at least in next round all will play again!
  23. Hopefully we can draw a big Premiership team because there should be great experience for the kids
  24. I just got back home from work in Hong Kong and when I got the news, I was shocked! But yeah he would be a great character in the team, maybe he was too old but his experience can surely help our team to progress, also looking forward to meet him in October in Colney! :)
