Pride of East Anglia once again....
Nexus_Canary replied to kick it off's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Pride of Anglia? Rooted to the foot of the table still??? Don''t make me laugh... pride of Anglia... my arse... with the exception of Marshall, Taylor, Huckerby and possibly one or two others at any given time the rest of the current City squad aren''t fit to wear the shirt!!! Worst City squad in 50 years and still one that will see us playing in the 3rd tier of English football next season.
Ah smudger, your just gutted cos your boys were 2 to the good at half time.Sorry mate, you didnt get your 3 points.Shame we had to share 1 a piece with you binners ! -
Pride of East Anglia once again....
Nexus_Canary replied to kick it off's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
well shoulda been 3-1 city...take into account the binners out of play 2nd and the peno Hucks won [;)]Seriously, dead chuffed with that 2-2I couldnt make it to Carrow road so settled for watching it on TV muted and BBC norfolk doing the comentating :)When Curo hit his goal i jumped off the sofa and spilt my cup of tea everywhere !!!! Thats was what fairy tails are made of 2-0 down at half time ! WowI honestly thought Ten Pies had won it for us at the end but then realised the ball had hit the other side of the back of the net :( Still like you said dispite his lack of pace he was awesome on the ball.Actually will talk about football this week at work. -
Yeh top notch

Cluck/Smudgers - not true fans!
Nexus_Canary replied to NegativeVibes's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
An empty vessel also has far more capacity to receive new input.....whereas a full one eventually becomes stagnant and bitter.....
So make like FC United and start your own club -
Another question for Smudger
Nexus_Canary replied to Pinks's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
What concerns me the most is the propaganda the Ipswich fans post on here.Id love to make some of these arm chair pundits like Smudger and Cluck the managing director or manager of Norwich. What do you 2 idiots actually know about business , running a football club or football in general. Then ride their asses all the way into the Blue Square North.Get out of the curry house and stop commenting on things that you could not do yourself. I know all clubs have fans like you 2 idiots but, we dont have to like it do we.Either back Roeder and Norwich ( cos lets face it, decisons made hes our boss , board is still in control ) or F**K off and support Kings Lynn yeh ? -
Cluck/Smudgers - not true fans!
Nexus_Canary replied to NegativeVibes's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I still think they are Ipswich fans. Cos they dont show any love for Norwich.EDP Headline : " Norwich City steal Rooney for £5.32p "Cluck / Smudger etc : " Oh no not Rooney hes crap whine whine whine whine whine whine whine " -
Very Very Very Excited about this
Nexus_Canary replied to Canary Ben's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Well I gotta say im pretty excited about this as well. But then i can remember walking out of Carrow road following the Vitesse Arnham game turning to my dad and saying " They were really up for that. Think Grant is deffo gonna get us some glory this season, im really excited "And yeh... see where that got us.......... Roeder is certainly walking the walk... lets hope he can put his money ( or Delias ) where his mouth is ! -
WHICH PLAYERS WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE ?
Nexus_Canary replied to hockeymyhero's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I know its a new boss and all, but i was under the impression that bridges between Arsenal and Norwich had been burnt RE: David Bentley.*Shrugs*Ive always moaned about Norwich needing a defence but more recently ive been concerned with the midfield.Russel is tight, i think hes working hard, so slap a creative midfielder in with him who can hold up the ball and I think we will fare a lot better.Im not gonna mention names to be honest, but id like to see a midfielder and a Left back and a Centre Half (or 2 ). -
Doherty has been our most consistant performer this season.
Are there 2 Doherty''s at Norwich ? Cos the one im thinking about is a pile of crap......
-
in the words of my fatherRoder...not RoderMight as well have given it to the chuckle brothers
-
Double headed coin to be honest.Huckerby is right to say what hes saying, BUT given the situation at the club, does he really need to be adding to the problems ?I think its clear that he needs to remember he plays for Norwich City, as opposed to him being Norwich City.
-
Well thats 2 maybe 3 games running ive heard Neill Adams exclaim " Ostombor with the ball for Norwich... what on earth was he thinking he just passed it right to XX and XX now have possession of the ball"
-
Like many, im a keen Footy manager fan. Ive been playing FM08 for a bit now and decided on a bit of a whim to check out Mr Jewels stats. Now i play as Blyth Spartans so dont have anything to do with the game external of about the Coca Cola League 2.....Imagine my shock when I was this.........http://aycu02.webshots.com/image/31441/2005356875620246489_rs.jpg

Nexus_Canary replied to Cluck's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yeh sorry... im also not overly sympathetic. If you lot fancy a fund raiser how about trying to fire up some fan support for our current situation ? -
Brown, strihavka or hartson
Nexus_Canary replied to we_8_ipswich's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
To be fair we are so crap this season that I really dont think its fair to compareAnyone listening to the Burnley game on Radio Norfolk woulda heard Neil Adams'' comment on Curetons miss to tie up the game" He would have hit the back of the net in a Colchester shirt "Someone of Hartsons calibre and CV ( regardless of age )should be in the starting 11 if fitDave StrikerWell hes going to take time to adapt, and just remember if it wasnt for him we would be bottom of the table, as technically he got us our last 3 ptsBrownWorkhorse and after actually scoring a goal im happier to see him getting a game. As it stands if i was the gaffer id be playing Cureton - Hartson Cureton - BrownBUT id deffo slot Dave in as a sub or here and there as I think he will be a touch of class for us next season in League 1. Before we start talking strikers we need to get Crofty back in the starting XI . -
Oh yeh bring back Robert Chase. Awesome Idea. Then we will lose Martin O''Neill because chase refuses to buy Dean Windass ( and we all saw what Windass is capable of earlier this season... and hes 38 ) And in his stead we buy Robert Fleck Seriously its different situations between Delia and Chase. This thread is really dumb !
-
cant you see hes a Tractor boy fan just here to troll the forums ?I
-
So i spose we now begin the labourious task of offloading all those second rate Scotish players Grant wasted our money on ? With the exception of Marshall.... That might raise us enough cash to pay Hucks wage for the next 3 weeks at least
-
You lot really are clueless...
Nexus_Canary replied to Smudger's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Do everyone a favor and go support the Tractor Boys yeh ? -
Time to run Delia and MWJ out of town!!
Nexus_Canary replied to E I E I E I O's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
You people want Chase back then I take it ?I dont honestly think you guys are pointing the finger in the right direction, im sure you were all cheering when Worthy got us into the Prem.Point is here, that they made a bad choice and a gamble with Grant.Board have done well for us in the long run... sure a lot of people are out but you have to remember that they bought them in the first place.I think the only loss we have had who was actually not due to a contract clause or player being held down was Safri, that was the final straw for Grant in my opinion. Its not like we sold Martin at the end of the season after we could have.In the old days we would have flogged him off for half a million and bought back Fleck and his gambling debts.Everyone is anoyed but you guys are just looking for a witch to hunt, when Grant is already stood in front of you. -
Id pretty much agree with all that Grant has alienated his squad.I feel people just see the current predicement as a good excuse to vent on the board and Hucks.I would hope that if Grant goes, we should have a few more wins under our belts by Jan.If he stays, then we had best get geared up for a local derby vs Luton.
-
So who's the new manager going to be
Nexus_Canary replied to Cheerio's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Steve Bruce -
yeh firstly boycott the local Derby if you feel like staying at home will actually do anything LMAO...you paid for your season tickets so not turning up is just comically retarded of you. Seriously, go to the ground with mass Delia / Grant / Hucks / w/e OUT posters. All the fans turn up to the game and turn thier back on the pitch for the whole game. All paint your faces or something with a similar sloganAll turn up in Kings Lynn shirtsThere are a thousand better ways of protesting than not going to the game....not going to the game is to be honest really stupid of you when you can be seen at the game , in passive defiance.
there is no one individual i think is more to blame just a continual apathy at the club that has been festering for years
Yeh wtf is up with that, its always been our problem.I wonder if its some of the old players behind the scenes like Gunn who sit there festering who add to this ?Surely there is a Norwich City attitude and its mainly Lazy with a subtle mix of low self confidence.
