  1. Yep, totally uncessary ****housing from NG. I would have sent him off there and then.
  2. It was ficking McLean who didn't close down Sawyers, not Sorenson who was doing his job on the other side of the pitch. Some people have blinkers!
  3. Interesting poll result so far. There is a degree of entitlement from Wendy's because of their European exploits but recent years the Blunts are ahead. Also, the quality of the respective stadia has narrowed over recent years. Bramall Lane is now superior I'd say as better atmosphere being fully enclosed and at least they have continued to invest in them, whereas Wendy's are doing it on the cheap. This was evidenced by the Women's Euros being hosted there. Bramall Lane's proximity to the city centre helps too. Where I live, if you were to mark the size of the club on the number of kids wearing respective shirts, then the Blades are definitely in the ascendancy. My sons team has seen a 2 to 1 advantage in terms of red n white to blue n white shirt wearing kids. So, locally many an argument still but generally accepted United just shade it. But both clubs need to sort out ownership issues, both kops need demolishing and rebuilding before they truly are 21st century clubs.
  4. I remember back in 71/72 when we lost big Duncan Forbes to injury and really had no back up. Everything big Ron tried to cover for his absence didn't quite work, but somehow the other players on the pitch pulled together and the promotion chase was kept on track. If the rest of the current squad up their game, then as in 71/72, the temporary absence of a CB should not mean the end of our challenge. But is Deano up to Saunders style motivational skills to achieve this? That's my concern, not the lack of cover, but the lack of good management.
  5. Either teach him to be the lump up front or move him on PDQ as he is a waste of a squad number.
  6. My thpught entirely, God alone knows what Wiz would make of today.
  7. Smith is fixated on energy etc. and forcing mistakes out of the opposition. That is not Sorenson's role which is to break pkay up and move the ball to creative players. McLean is unfortunately Deano's ideal but that is my biggest issue with Smith. He really doesn't know what he has got and how to get the best out of them and reverts to mediocrity under stress. You probably won't be surprised I would have preferred McLean to be subbed yesterday (despite him having the only real chance in the closing period). He was at fault for Sawyers goal ("after you sir"). Until the forays into the opposition half late in the 2nd, McLean was anonymous. I know some on here will take the **** but Sorenson is my choice to sit in a two. McLean, if we have any ambition, shouldn't start, like Sargent. But it's all about opinions.
  8. Agree re. Pukki, i would rest him for next month. If Sargent is to survive at Norwich, it has to be as a target man. He just doesn't have the skill to play anywhere else.
  9. TBH you have it about spot in. Pukki looks stale. It might be just as well to let him have August off and really recharge his batteries. He had just over a fortnight off this summer after pretty much constant football for the past three years. He went off today with cramp, his body was kicked to shreds in the game, he needs a proper break. Sure, it means reverting to Hugill, but with a lack of a discernible style from Deano, that may be a blessing.
  10. Because Kenny ****ing McLean did not bother to close down Sawyers and block that shot. "There you go Romaine, I'll even point you towards goal if you like?"
  11. **** all then according to that link! TY, I thank you!
  12. Seriously, I can't be arsed to look up, and know my friends on here have the answer at their fingertips, so what is he going to be doing this coming season?
  13. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤪🤪🤪🥳
  14. 😖🤮🤮 Makes a change from all those socialist fans! Big Vince must be jumping for joy!
  15. Not sure if that was a joke, but if not the fee from selling PLM is close to the fee Nunez will cost. So, overall impact is probably saving of salary paid to Nunez compared to PLM.
  16. Current visiting my daughter down under - always struggle with translating currencies! 😉 [PS - I know its shares not £'s, just joking]
  17. Could it be the automated email may have been filtered to a spam folder in these guys email box?
  18. As I've said elsewhere, all these fancy videos the commercial arm produce are all well and good, but when the bread n butter stuff is so **** poor for fan engagement its 2 steps forward, 3 steps back!
  19. Why so long though? I know the club aren't huge in terms of resource, but rolling back to previous version takes 20 minutes tops! Testing in a non-live environment also should have identified the issue. Not good enough I'm afraid Tubs, this happens far too often.
  20. Absolutely agree with this. It's not good enough and once again shows the lack of Corporate governance. The commercial team needs to focus on core stuff, not lots of nice non-core videos. Sort it!
  21. But they're good at producing high quality video's outside of the core activity of the club. Bread n butter stuff first Mr Commercial Director. Where is the governance over this shoddy core stuff?
  22. I wonder how many of the 1.5million shares available for sale by the club are being negotiated over at the moment by Attanasio et al. I'd say 100,000. Anyone go higher?
  23. Come on Tubs, this video released on the day the ticket web-site crashed. **** me, if that is competent god help us in the future when we need serious cash raised. Bread n butter stuff needs to be right first, that **** goes wrong all the time but this nice stuff always perfect. Not good enough I'm afraid.
