1.
Well, I''m not afraid to put my hand up.   I was wrong, very wrong about Hughton, I wanted Holloway but I wouldn''t swap Hoots for anyone now... and that includes Lambert!   We''ve struck gold. ....again.
Well said Wiz...... couldn''t agree more.
 2. And remember its not just a matter of ticket receipts - the bigger the crowd the more money generated by food/drink/programme/Golden Goal ticket sales etc etc.
 3.

Great result.  Two teams scrapping for a point and both lacking in quality.  On another day we would have converted one of those many chances we created in the last 20 minutes. Objective this season is survival.  4 points from Villa and Arsenal is GREAT.
How many more times do we accept excuses. Villa were there for the taking...[:@]
Blimey Paul you''re beginning to sound like Smudger [:D] 4 points from the last two fixtures is 4 points more than we got from them last season!
 4. ''I hear the sound of distant bums...over there, over there...''
 5.

All stands are equal, but some are more equal (at least the informed opinions of those occupants) than others
Lets pretend you actually go to Carrow road. Which stand, theoretically, do you sit in?
Surely if he does go (choke myself laughing) it would be too namby pamby happy clappy to sit so I would expect him to stand throughout the game!!! (If he doesn''t he obviously is not a ''real'' fan)...........    damn, Morty, we''ve fed the troll again!!!!
 6.
Do we have to put swearing in all modern songs ? I personally have never sung that Holty song becouse of that.
'' I hear the sound.......... ''    [:D]
 7.
YF thank you I thought people would instantly know its a version of the Anderson song from a few seasons back. The last line definitely fits into the tune when sung correctly.
Very good - unfortunately I can''t get the image out of my head of the twonks who sang the original song!!!! Didn''t they do a dodgy song called ''Gangbang'' for a film ''Rita, Sue and Bob Too'' ????
 8.
It would be good to get a few new songs going and the bloke deserves it, he has been a rock since arriving and will only get better the more games he plays.   Seb Bassong song song song Never gets a tackle wrong Seb Bassong song song song Clears the danger all day long To the left ,To the right, In the Air or on the deck He''s the man f**** grand and he sh**s on FER DIN HAND
What''s the tune????
 9.
Jewell was the best they could get the last time, and they were in a better situation then. Some of the names being linked are ridiculous, this is now a real posioned challice and one thatb only a very brave man would take on. Megson since his days with us has actually done some decent work and would be lowering himself if he took it......Burley would be ideal...they deserve each other!
Bring back Burley!!!!  Then we can resurrect his special song!
 10.
I have to say on a personal note that I think Ed Balls is a Kn*b (do you see what I done there)!! However this is quality and any Scum bashing is good to see!!
So you know him personally do you?????
 11. That is brilliant.  Thanks for putting that up.  [:D]
 12.

Here''s the comedy show for those of us with nothing better to do : -   http://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/live_chat_2_10701
Strangely my comment about bringing Roy Keane back hasn''t appeared yet!!!! [:D]
It has now!!!!!  Obviously the moderator cannot spot a Canary when he sees one!!!!

 15.
Apart from the obvious fact you''re just on a wind up.... I usually take the opportunity at games like this to sit in another area of the ground for a change, rather than sit in my normal seat. I know quite a few people do the same.
We''ve told him that before Morty - unfortunatley it wont stop his sad trolling.....only ignoring him will do that and someone always rises to the bait.....yes, I know I''ve replied but he does p**s me off a treat!
 16.
Another time, I was working at Sloane Square branch for a few weeks in 1976 where a lady I  saw regularly was Katie Boyle. One day there was a furore in the banking hall as a guy came in and shouted at a woman in the queue, presumably his wife, ''F****** hurry up you bitch. You''ve just got me a *F****** parking ticket !!''. The bank accountant went out and spoke to the guy telling him off and not to use such foul language in the bank. The offender was actor Gerald Harper. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_Harper
Blimey who would have thought Adam Adamant could be so rude!!!!!!!
 17. Where do I start????/ Went to the same school as Geoffrey Watling, Lord Nelson, Stephen Fry, Clive Baker and Tilly (granted only four of those are famous...you decide!!!) Once spent the afternoon with Bill Kenwright (Everton Chairman) and his then wife Anouska Hempel (look her up on Wiki) at their house in Holland Park - in fact, the day after Scum won the FA Cup Final. Taught Mylene Klass the words to ''On the Ball City'' Met Amanda Holden in the Gunn Club Used to play football with Norman Lamb MP Played table football with Golden Earring at the UEA Casted Kate Middleton in a soft porn film whilst she was a student* (*please note one of the above is a total lie)
 18.

And nobody thinks its possible it could have come from the Arse supporters area ?
Would be a very good throw if it was, judging on where the ref picked it up. But possible I suppose. [Y]
And thrown with quite a bit of spin at an interesting angle!!!
 19.
It certainly wasn''t just a few isolated individuals - usually a full on Barclay chorus.
Yes Mungo I can clearly remember the chant ''you b....k bas***d'' echoing around the Barclay along with the ''zigger, zagger zigger'' chant and it wasn''t an isolated minority either.  About the same time as ''Love Thy neighbour'' was on the TV.
 20.

For ever doubting City and hughton!! I was wrong and have been put in my place by the epic performance from everybody this evening!!!
So all your doubts and concerns have been erased after one heroic victory?  I thought we were fantastic, well organised and well deserving of the three points but it will be what happens in the next five or six games that will show whether this was a one-off "cup tie" win or a turning point.
This is getting a bit repetetive Chops - do you have to say the same thing on a number of threads???? Just spotted your Smiths avatar...no wonder you''re such a miserable sod!!!
I can confirm that after the match, I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour...
Good man...I now expect your avatar to change to one of Kylie!!  [:D]

 22. Am I now a ''Happy Clapper'' because today I am happy and yesterday I clapped a lot??????
 23.

Well according to my old English teacher, Harry Hawdon (RIP), any use of the word ''nice'' would have resulted in the user being thrashed within an inch of their lives!
and my old English teacher - not the same one - always insisted that ''nice'' was not a proper word and must never be used! Did''nt explain why of course - just dared us to use it in essays and take the consequences. Silly old fart.
Maybe they were educated or trained at the same ''Old Fart Academy''??? [:D]
Did Tilly go there too[:^)]
I understood that he was thrown out of Hendon in disgrace....an incident involving a rather attractive police dog apparently.  [:D]
