1. I hope there aren''t too many guests signing on here from other clubs, because we must come across as a moaning, whingeing, bitching, belly-ache arse of a set of supporters. So we have Glenn Roeder - what, did you think Murinho or Jewell or Alex Fergusson or Wenger was waiting for the job to be available?? - good luck Glenn, I am right behind you 110% and if you manage to keep us in this division this year, then you will have done an incredible job. For those who are whingeing and tagging him "rat-boy", then actually you ought to p**s off and watch Jackanory....or better, go out to play and see if you can learn how to make friends.

 3.
With the seemingly ongoing recruitment drive for shelf stackers at Morrisons and cleaners at the new hotel, I''m not sure its even one of the top 24 jobs on Carrow Rd...
- made me smile.....
 4. Possibly, done a good job for Fulham and as I understand has made a decent start with Real Sociadad - would he come to us though??
 5. Maybe when he feels he''s in a "better team" he will perk up a bit......bless him. At leas Shacks & Rusty has stood up and said something....

 9.
In recent times, releasing Malky. A leader on the pitch, a fan''s favourite, and a better player than Charlton who Worthy brought in as a replacement.
100% in agreement on that one Stevo
 10.
was just sitting at my desk thinking.....if we all put £100 into a pot and raised 2.5 million we could probably but the club get rid of the deadwood and take NCFC back where we belong! demolish the new hotel and build a corner seating area and build the 2nd tier on the Geoffrey Watling stand, pack it to the rafters with true supporters(moaners and whingers welcome too) make loads of cash, buy decent players and get steady in the premier league!!!!!!   bet no-one can believe you''re reading this!!!!!!!
Who do I write the cheque out to...??
 11. One of my favourite''s is the Murray Walker classic "The car in front is unique - apart from the one behind which is identical"..... Or - "Were the presents those 3 wise men brought Jesus for Christmas or his birthday?"
 12. Just got from Sky PG is interested in signing Andrew Davies from Middlesborough
 13.

do you have a link for live commentary - Radio Norfolk is not in line....
BBC Sports live text feed here.  This link works for all Norwich games, so it might be worth bookmarking. The pinkun could probably develop something similar if they could get a laptop into the ground, possibly you could do it by mobile phone these days.  It wouldn''t be much work.
Thanks Blah - bookmarked !

 15. Is Spillane injured??? cos if he isn''t then he should be starting.....
 16. This post is very interesting - Cullum is an astute businessman, he has rapidly grown Towergate by acquisition and he knows the right people to do the right job (he has enlisted a Norwich Unioin exec to head up areas of his business). I am normally a bit cynical when it comes to speculation, we all like to look for the best in any situation, but I could get quite excited by the prospect of Cullum coming in for the club - apart from the fact that he is local born & bred and is a genuine supporter, his credentials would not let sentiment get in the way of what was important, and that would be good for all of us..... If he applied his business brain to the running of the club (which he surely would), then things could take a turn for the better.........
 17.
Bet he scores against us next Monday !
The script is already written......what a prospect in the match though - both in similar dire straits (''cept we still have a manager).
 18. Queens Park Rangers have signed Preston North End midfielder Jason Jarrett on loan until 1 January 2008.
 19. Good post Shaun, well thought out and to the point. Actually I agree on all fronts, the position now is very convcerning and I do feel that without any external investment we will be following the path to League One. I feel the board got it wrong with appointing PG, probably they felt he would do the job and the fact that he would not have been too expensive (almost apprentice wages you would think) would certainly have swung any doubt within the bored. However, this has dramatically mis-fired because PG does not have the credentials (yet) to manage a football club but NCFC are really not in a position to make any changes - get rid of the manager = compensation = high costs to get the right manager etc etc. I do think we have a capable squad at this time, but to get substantial investment to change the management (coaching staff a must!!!) the current board need to be looking at an exit strategy sooner rather than later and I don''t think that is in their schedule yet. I have always been cynical when it comes down to foriegn "sugar-daddies", but if it meant getting NCFC back again, then bring them on..........
 20. I thought Spillane did well and showed a bit of grit, for me the best player - Brown must be down in confidence, but though he is not scoring, he at least puts himself about and hunts for the ball - the rest were meiocre/bad (though Doc did ok overall). The problem for me is the lack of direction for the players - they looked out of sorts and didn''t seem to know what the hell to do in certain situations. This is down to the manager (who appears to be tactically inept) & coaching team (who would be able to offer PG some direction in tactics and positioning players to their strengths). A player like Cureton doesn''t suddenly "stop" scoring, Hucks doesn''t suddenly "stop" being expressive etc etc - we have a squad who is capable of attaining top half this season and pushing for promotion next season, but we don''t have the right coaching team in place, and until we do then we are only going in one direction.....
 21. Classic......I can almost taste those cockles..
