1. Can''t speak for CR as I haven''t been yet this season, but there''s nothing wrong with the away support...
2. Agree with OP - I was at MK friendly, then Fulham and though I am ever the optimist I was a bit worried about the season ahead. We should have taken 3 points against QPR, West Ham and even Spurs, and that restored my optimism. L''pool was a huge wake-up call, but I feel we will pull round. I am off to Chelsea this weekend, I don''t expect a win, but a good performance will do for me - I am absolutely surrounded by Chelsea fans here, so I know what''s coming!!!!
3. Great man, lived his life the way he liked his football - with style. Some of my best memories of NCFC.....RIP.
4. Was at the West Ham game, and looking back it could have been tricky had something occurred. However, I took my wife to be to the semi at Villa Park - a "mate" had got tickets for me, ended up in the Everton lot - the stewards were great, led us onto the pitch and marched us round to the Holte end where they opened a pen gate, let us in, and locked it behind us. My other half commented on it then, saying she felt trapped - I just said something like it''s fine, nothing will happen, and of course we all believe nothing will happen. Got news around half time that there seemed to be a bit of trouble at the other semi, but wasn''t until we got back to the car that we realised the extent of the tragedy unfolding. Needless to say, our result didn''t matter any more and we had a quiet and sad trip back down to High Wycombe. I really hope the release of these documents answer all the questions that have been raised - and the families and friends of lost loved ones can at least have some kind of closure on what must have been a harrowing 23 years.
5. Oh, and Alan (I love the sound of my own voice) Brazil. If you have heard him on talksport, you will know what I mean......
6. I can''t stand players who watch themselves on the big screen - this really bugs me
7. At 00:54 on Wednesday 27th February, an earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale hit Ipswich, Suffolk causing untold disruption and distress -   a. Many were woken well before their giro arrived b. Several priceless collections of mementos from the Balearics and Spanish costas were damaged c. Three areas of historic and scientifically significant litter were disturbed d. Thousands are confused and bewildered, trying to come to terms with the fact that something interesting has happened in Lincoln   One resident, Donna-Marie Dutton, a 16 year old mother-of-three said "It was such a shock, little Chantal-Leanne came running into my bedroom crying.   My youngest two, Tyler-Morgan and Megan-Storm slept through it. I was still shaking when I was watching Trisha the next morning." Apparently though, looting did carry on as normal. The British Red Cross have so far managed to ship 4000 crates of Sunny Delight to the area to help the stricken masses. Rescue workers are still searching through the rubble and have found large quantities of personal belongings including benefit books and jewellery from Elizabeth Duke at Argos. 8. Arsenal are saying that Eduardo should be back by the end of the year - hopefully that will make Taylor feel a bit better about the whole thing, and he can move on now....
9.
I know I''m not the world''s most accomplished computer user, and most of my equipment is old and a bit naff (like its owner) but is anyone else having difficulty in getting onto this forum since the format changed? It used to be one click and I was in - to either the main forum or the transfer forum - now it takes a lot of messing about and clicking back and forth to access anything..................... Helpful suggestions welcome (in English not computerese).
Ignore the others OYB (brain maturity comes later) - yep, there is a bit of a problem, you need to click the refresh button at the top - shouldn''t be necessary, this is the only site I need to keep refreshing to get the pages up - so it''s not you or your equipment
10. Makes you wonder how many of us trawl the sites just loking for some news.....me, I log on and check around 5 or 6 times a day (EVERY DAY). Is this normal? I mean, I glance for about one nano-second at the news and everything horrific thats going on in the World, have a passing interest in the weather and very occassionally concentrate on some work (joke there), but I am forever wondering what may be going on in the corridors of the mighty NCFC. It''s a bit like the anticipation to see what Santa has put in your sack, then after you have got up at 5:00am to check you realise that Santa stopped coming years ago !!!!
11. Talbot pulled the Liverpool defence all over the place - and his work-rate and enthusiasm was immense. He gave Carragher a torrid time, and was equally good on both flanks - I was impressed with the guy, and made for an enjoyable match. Win, lose or draw, if your players are turning in performances like that, how could anyone object.......
12. Klinnsman was a master at diving theatrically, it is a fact of life with overseas players. Problem is we see it with our home grown players now, and this "cheating" really gets my back up. Ok, referee''s are going to make mistakes, and get sucked in by some of the theatricals, but the penatlties for play-acting need to be severe and video evidence needs to be used to stamp this out.
13.
I used to steward at Elland Rd. Wasnt really worth it for me because I didnt support Leeds and the pay was shocking. One game, whilst they were playing Man Utd I got dicked to do segregation and ended up getting showered in spit from the home crowd........Yes, Leeds fans spit at their own stewards trying to spit at away supporters. Coinsidentaly the Man Utd fans were angels. As for the pros.........They were in the prem whilst I was there so I did get to see regular Prem football! You wont have any probs being a Norwich fan. You get paid to see the game and there wont be much trouble.
And you''ve never been the same since.....
14. To end of season - just came up on my mobile......
