1.
If Celtic and Everton want him he wont come here will he!
Why not? He might if he''s guarenteed first team football; which he wouldn''t be at either of those.
 2. Surprise, surprise Whittle. I would imagine it would take signing Ronaldo or Messi to get some people on here excited.
 3. Mr Cooper,Yellow Mellow is more interested in causing argument than he is about presenting balanced opinions. There are, unfortunately, a number of individuals like that on here, each and every one very keen to cause disruption and argument rather than actually support the football club.I would take what he says with fist-fulls of salt and treat him with the contempt he deserves.Best of luck to your son as he looks for a contract. I do not follow the youth team closely, but I understand he is a talented young man.Best wishes.
 4.
But are roeders''s "tough decisions" right? Some people on here harper as though glenn is the chosen one. But he has done this at every club and failed. He polarises the media and the fans and the staff at his old clubs and is doing that now. I am worried at whether we will take the same direction as watford and burnley and west ham took and be relegated. When roeder stops with the sweet talk and the be-littling of people he doesn''t "need" and actually give us results on the pitch then I will re-assured because currently he''s making the same noises he''s made in the past and the same ones that grant and worthy have made. And we all know where those paths ended up.
All good points, but you have judged Roeder prior to him actually having done anything. We can but wait and see what direction he takes us. All we can say is the top to toe overhaul is drastically needed - and has been for a long time. The only way we''ll find out if Roeder is the right man to do it is if we give him the time and patience with which to do it.
 5.

Then pray do tell what you expect Roeder to do? Or is this yet another attempt to shoe horn your vendetta against the board into a conversation that''s a million miles away from it? Change the record, Mello. It''s getting dull.
Why should I? Because you say so? If anyone''s dull chum......
Answer my point; what do you expect Roeder to do concerning our stale board? Or are you just going to keep insulting me?

 7. I''d have Rasiak in a heart beat. Proven Championship quality strikers like him are hard to come by, and I think he''ll score for any team.
 8.
It would appear that Mr Roeders inflated opinion of his own ability is only matched by his disdain for and belittling of the ability of others.
What a load of clap trap! He isn''t doing this for his own perverted joy, he''s doing it because he feels it needs to be done for the good of this football club. Most of the fans agreed until he started doing it, and now our manager is being accused as being on some power trip. It''s ridiculous - fans seem to want change without change ever occuring.
 9. Good luck to the man; I wonder if San Jose is closer to home than Toronto? That might have been part of it.
 10.

And I predict that triangular cheesemen will take over the world and football will be abolished, making our conversations irrelevant. Predictions in football are pointless - well evidenced by the match going on right now. Even more pointless is this doom and gloom culture so evident amongst fans on this forum. Let''s wait and see what Roeder can do rather than predict absolute rubbish before anything has even happened.
Right, I totally agree. Now, can you tell Archant to shut the forum down till the season starts?
I doubt they''ll agree; how will the doctors keep you entertained in between wheeling you in and our of your padded cell?
 11.
I''m hoping he starts on the Chief Exec next week, and the ''Board of Directionless'' the week after. They''ve failed this club time and time again....Don''t you think?
Yes because Roeder has the ability to sack his bosses. Don''t be silly. If  another board of directors will take over, then great. I''ll be happy to see the current bunch leave. I do think they lack the money to take us forward - but until another board of directors comes forward, I think it''s pointless going on about it in the monotonous manner you do.Now back to the topic at hand - Glenn Roeder''s back room reshuffle and Neil Adams being sacked.

 13. I think it''s sad that in Roeder we have someone who is clearly looking to change the very roots of the football club for it''s own benefit, yet the fans seem to think this is some personal, sadistic attack on staff at the club, staff who for too long have failed this club time and time again. It''s about time this happened, and I for one will judge Roeder by the results it brings rather than the impressions it makes. Especially considering those impressions are made quite quickly with very little facts.
 14. Will have to add that to my links in my blog too...
 15. Camul: Was it Darren Anderton? :) I must admit Lincoln is my second team as well; I studied law up there and my best mate (an Ipswich fan, oddly enough) and I would both go down and sit in the Stacey West and watch Lincoln play hoofball under Keith Alexander :) Back then I was of the opinion that Gareth McAuley could and would make the step up. When I left there was a young lad named Lee Frecklington that was making waves. Is it him? Btw, I''m appauled that Lincoln have released Marriot. It''s a bit like the way this club have treated Huckerby.
 16. Good post. I do sometimes wonder what it is our fans are expecting. There is almost an air of expectation on here that we should be clinching big name signings and improving on our squad already. That just simply isn''t realistic. Give it time - the signings will come, and as they do we can look at the squad Roeder has in place and start to decide on realistic expectations.
 17. I think the paramount word that camuldonum states that you have missed, beachball is "consistently". I''m sure that in a successful, as you put it, flourishing company you could afford when a mistake is made or request refused to sit down and talk over your problems with the employee who has made a mistake. The point is though, how often do you put up with it before more drastic action is needed? It''s my contention this is where the football club is at. When you face the consistent level of problems this football club has faced since relegation, you need to look deep to the core and ask how to solve those problems. This is clearly what Glenn Roeder is doing. I''m shocked that the fans on here seem to want this club to change without any actual changes happening. I think a number of people need to wake up and smell the roses - we need a bottom to top overhaul. It''s as simple as that.
 18.
You''re right - I''ve heard that it''s Lincoln, Mansfield and Chester!
Much better :D
 19.
Dont get excited. We will be lied to continously from now until two weeks before the season starts when we will sign three players on the same day. These will be players that Shrewsbury, Boston, Torquay and Fakenham Town have all turned down
What a load of unsubstantiable rubbish!
 20. Actually if you go to the Express & Star website, it says Eastwood wants to go to Coventry.
 21. Norwich and Derby have joined Coventry and Crystal Palace in a four-way tug-of-war for Wolves striker Freddy Eastwood. (Express and Star, 1129 BST)
 22.
le make to your threads. It counts how many posts you have made.

Mostly because a post count doesn''t count the number of replies peop Okay, so we''ve established my post are popular, so what? envious are we sonny jim?[:D]
No, I was pointing out that a post count counts the number of posts. To quote Ronsil: "It does exactly what it says on the tin" :D It isn''t a measure of how often you are replied to, or even how popular you may or may not be.

 24. ...and for that matter Jay Bothroyd.
