Yellowmellow, I am David Cooper''s dad, you decided to have a go about him in the thread "Youth Team", then you accused people of being his dad, I can assure you they are not. Let me put a few things straight as I have read through all of the comments and been pretty disgusted by some of them. David had a trial with the R.O.I and Mr. McCarthey the manager was impresssed with him, however David has had an injury plagued season, Mr. McCarthey has indicated that he will come and watch David next season as he is very interested in him. For you to say he is not good enough is ill informed, Ricky Martin accompanied David to the trials in Ireland and he felt David was the best player at the trials. You are welcome to your opinion saying David is miles away from a contract, I would obviously disagree, I think David is well capable of getting a contract and he is certainly not in the bottom three worst players at the academy. My views about Korey Smith is that he is a decent player, I have to be honest that I was surprised he was given a contract this season but good luck to him, David was one of the first boys to congratulate him. Luke Daley has always been polite and I find him a very down to earth young man and again we congratulated him when he got his contract. My views on the Academy staff is that they have a tough job, I don''t always agree with their views but at the end of the day it is their opinion and David and me do not have to agree with it. Yellowmello I wonder if you have the bottle to tell us who you are, or are you just one of those people who have a go about people and then hide behind a computer screen. I am proud that my son is trying to do something with his life and not hanging about the streets getting drunk like a lot of teenagers.
