1.

I wondered why it was called ''cabbage'' canary
You can blame Kevin Baldwin who wrote "Norfolk''n''Good" his match by match account of the season when we lost 7-1 at Blackburn. In the book he refers to Club Canary as "Club Cabbage" - not a comment on the average IQ of the passengers, but he travelled on it once and thought it smelled of cabbage. Very funny book, worth a read if you get a chance.
You could have written ''thseason when we finishered 3rd in the prem'' rather than ''when we lost 7-1 at blackburn!!!!
 2. don''t know why that had an angry face, didn''t click that. But, to continue... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

 4. I agree - it''s nice to be able to look forward to going to Carra Rud again!
 5. ''cos ''We make more noise than you!!'' It''s all a bit of fun mate, happens a other grounds too - Palace is one I can think of. Chill out we''re only trying to get an atmosphere going
 6. size of the crowd has nothing to do with atnosphere...look at the premiership...which side has a better armosphere at home games, Pompey or Man Yoo?
 7. So Cherub, if someone calls you a w*****r it''s ok to kick them in the head? Not a lae I knew exsisted!
 8. Did they fcuk. didn''t want to know... had some good banter with rovers fans before the match, and fair play to the fella who apologised for them later, but like glovey said, our mate got set upon after minimal provocation, got kicked in the head, luckily he''s ok, but could have been very serious. Seems some rovers fans can''t take a fefeat , or the fact the opposition might take the piss when you get beat 5-1. If we, as Norwich fans, reacted as violently as this every time we got a tonking, ther would be no-one left in the ground as we would all have 3 year banning orders!!!
 9. He never struck me as the type who would go into management or coaching, have heard many things about him when he was a player not being too intelligent. But good luck to him - although I do remember ripping up a poster of him whhen he signed for blackburn - but I was only 13!!
 10.

The bloke who sits right at the front of Barclay A block with the dreadlocks who always seems to be pissed!
that bloke near the top of the snake pit who looks a ''large'' gok wan!!!!
And the Alan Carr lookalike who sits next to him!
 11.
Is that Andy''s son?
No it''s his half greek cousin
 12. The bloke who sits right at the front of Barclay A block with the dreadlocks who always seems to be pissed!
 13. My Dad (a long time before I was born) Lived in Grantham for a while and went to watch them play many times whilst Bly was their manager and only has good things to say about the man.
 14. Now I don''t mean any offence by this... but... this is typical opinion of someone who doesn''t really see ''the big picture'' as far as football is concerned. Hoollahan, whilst VERY frustrating gives the opposition something to think about, rather than Cody, who IMO, and it seems Lambert''s is better used as a late impact sub when defences are getting tired. Daley, with his raw pace, will stretch the play creating space for others, and semi really hasn;t been as bad as some on here who seem to have some vendetta against him, will have you believe. Personally I would have Akou and Spillane as my defensive pair, think they complement each other well, but we should remember that Mickey is still young and will make some mistakes. From what I have seen so far though,I think that Lambert will not have a first choice XI, but will pick the team best suited to playing that weeks opposition. I have full faith in the man and can only see us getting better under him.
 15.
"Yeah that''s right, hype him up and watch him get snapped up by a boring Premier league team!!!" Yeah, I''m a Banana - and it''ll be all your fault! It''s all about your hype, it''s not like even his performances will matter if you keep banging on about him!
It''s true I''m a Banana is Arsene Wengers cheif scout!
 16. I think everyones just pleased to see a team with some fighting spirit after 5 years of having none. I am optomisitic about the future under Lambert, and no of course I''m not happy with being in League 1 but that is not the current manager''s, cheif executive''s, or most of the current playing squads fault. We are where we are - but things are looking up. Keep the faith Glovey - don''t lose yourself to egg chasing.
 17.
Strikers measured by goals. Bye bye JC
Not always there not, why is Heskey rated so highly by Capello, O'' Neill, Eriksson, Bruce, Houllier to name a few. Some people (who understand football) can see the bigger picture. I thought Curo had a good game today, It seems as though some people have to have a few players to scapegoat for everything. Semi was excellent today, and more than a few on here were calling for him never to wear a city shirt again after the Col U game.
 18. Joe Lewis Danny Mills Mattty Upson Keiron Dyer Richard Wright ermm....Daryl Sutch?
 19.
You sure? He went to schoool with my mother in hellesdon.... His brother was in my mothers class, and his dad was the head of pe.
Moved to Norwich when he was young, was brought up here and speaks with a norfolk accent: he counts in my book!
 20. They might really punish them and make them keep their season tickets and force them to attend every game!
 21. I''m not a religous man, but as someone who works with children with ''challenging'' behaviour for very little financial reward, I have the greatest of respects for anyone who wants to dedicate their lives to helping others. Being a priest, vicar, rabbi etc is a basically a 24 hour job as well, and as VIYAG says, compared to other proffesssions with a simaler level of responsibility the financial rewards are actually quite small.
 22.

defence was plainly awful.
Based on what? a three minute video?[:S]
In which they had loads of chances ALL created by defensive errors!!
 23.
I don''t see many people denying this to be honest. And its not a new revelation. All I see is people trying to get possitive about the coming season because it doesn''t look as if anything is going to change. Now some people sit down and just moan about how good it isn''t and other understand the limitations and try to make the most of it.If I go to a match I dont stop shouting / chanting / looking a prat because to me that is what match days are about. I go to enjoy myself. I have enjoyed the banter between sets of fans on occaisions when we havn''t won before. I remember 18,000 people being happy with mid table championship and cheering on Milligan, Carey and Forbes. I also remember 24,000 watching Etuhu, Safri, Huckerby and Earnshaw and not making much noise as the 18,000 only a few years before.Football has changed in many many ways.
Yes, and we would all be bloody delighted with mid - table championship now wouldn''t we? I DO understand the limitations we are under now, but who''s fault is that? Delia''s and Michael''s. We had a real chance 4 years ago to become, if not a premiershio team, someone a bit like West Brom are now, a top ebd Championship/bottom wnd premiership team. But thanks to bad decisions/under - investment when it would have been easy to get investment/finance means that we are now a league 1 club with no money. if you are prepared to take that lying down mate, then good for you, but don''t moan about those of us who are angry because we have every right to be angry!
 24. Smudge, I used to dismiss you for being overly negative, but I actually think we are going to struggle against relegation next season based on players we''ve got/signed at the minute!
