1. Heard this at Brum today but couldn''t quite make it out properly. Anyone know the words to this?
2. Apologies to this Paul. I should have realised when I read a post that could be useful to some that it wasn''t the strange fella also called Paul. Enjoy the game today everyone, I''m certainly looking forward to my first away day since our last promotion season!
3. It''s all well and good telling us how cheap and fantastic it is but what we all really want to know is whether or not there is a minutes silence before boarding the train.
4. Wouldn''t be any worse than RVW. Seriously though we do need to bring in someone with aerial prowess, we were shocking from set pieces last season.
5. How big is it? Will those at CR get as good a view of the game as Grefstad?
6. I blame Bassong. Or Martin. Or Whittaker. Wait who is the scapegoat these days? The Doc maybe?
7. Artistic licence from Tommo or did McNally really say Hughton had got more points than Lambert when he clearly hadn''t?
8.
I personally wouldn''t want Chris Martin back. I couldn''t put up with everyone calling him "lightweight, lazy and a big girls blouse" all the time again.
Have you seen Martin these days? I don''t think there''s any danger of anyone calling him lightweight!
9. Is that the company that has their name all over the seats in the subs bench?
10. A yellow and green version of the ''Marcus'' kit popped up on the Errea website a while ago, not sure if that might be next seasons kit. I would post a pic if I knew how to on this site from my phone.
11. Please tell me that doesn''t mean Hoolahan will be playing wide left
12. Considering the habit of recent winners to leave the club soon after receiving the trophy I''m hoping it''s not Howson.
13. Just remembered about Howson''s injury. Not feeling so confident about that score line now. Although to be fair Howson is still probably just as likely to stick the ball in the back of the net as any of the strikers!
14. 2-1 win, O''Neill and Howson on the scoresheet.
15. ''It is so demoralising supporting Norwich City'' I love supporting City, we always seem to have something to play for be it promotion or relegation. I think you have to go back to about 2007 for the last time we had a season of mediocrity. Maybe you would prefer we went back to the days of Grant or Roeder as manager? I love supporting City in the Prem, I love supporting City in the Champs, I loved supporting City in the 3rd division! We could end up in non league and I''d still love supporting City. If all I was interested in was winning all the time I would have cut my losses and switched allegiance to Real Madrid years ago. ''We are the same size club as Leicester or Southampton and much bigger than Watford, Palace or Bournemouth'' You could also reason we are a smaller club historically than Leeds, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest, should we be playing a level below them? The fact is we are currently better than 73 of the other 91 professional clubs in this country. Things could be a lot worse than they are right now and indeed they were not so long ago. I think a lot of people that use this forum must only have been following Norwich for the last 5 years and demand Premiership football and the club to continuously progress and will be moaning if we haven''t won the Champions League in the next 5 years while the rest of us realise that we are about where we should be. ''We''ve got no more ambition than Burnley'' A team focused on gaining promotion immediately after relegation, sounds about the amount of ambition we need right now. I''m guessing what you really mean is that we need to get mass investment so we can do a Leicester. A lot of people seem to think that if Delia and Michael sell up we will magically find a billionaire that wants to throw money at the club. The fact is there are probably 85 other teams in this country actively looking for investment, almost every other club in the country is in the same situation as us, just look at how long Bill Kenwright has trying to sell Everton for. For every Abramovich there is a Gaydemak, we could try to spend what we don''t have but the majority of time it will end up like Portsmouth rather than becoming a top 4 team. Just think what could have happened if Cullum had taken over the club with his mystery millions. ''We are a laughing stock'' No we really aren''t. It must be tough being you, living your life if you''re naturally always that negative. As for me, I''ll take life as it comes, roll with the punches and enjoy seeing the yellows whatever league we play in knowing that the financial future of the club is secure which surely is the most important thing, knowing the very existence of the club is safe.
16. No Nutty, the Charlton model is the one to follow, remember?
17. No idea what the point the op was trying to make was as I gave up reading after the first paragraph. ''When Paul Lambert came to the club in 2008 the club was on its knees financially. But three seasons later we were in the Premier League and on a sound financial footing.'' Glenn Roeder was manager in 2008, Paul Lambert didn''t come in until 2009 when we were in League 1 and after successive promotions it was just 2 seasons later we were in the Premier League.
18. Don''t post team news on here, Allardyce will be reading this right now! 😝
19. 2 wins on the trot and unbeaten in 3, knowing City it''s time for a no show. As others have said we don''t want to go gung-ho in this game but AN in the article on the front page says we need to go there and attack them which I fear would leave us exposed to be picked off on the counter attack. Having said that if Bamford is involved at any point he''ll have a point to prove to Pardew and I can see him getting on the scoresheet.
20. Could well still be negotiating depending what league we''re in next season. Surely we will want to squeeze as much money as we can out of a new sponsor and playing at the top level will allow us to do that.
21. I''ll take your word for it Nutty, must have been before my time
22. Due to a combination of time difference & terrible wifi I was asleep during the game but just wondered as it was on TV how many times the pundits & commentators referred to ''that'' Delia incident from over a decade ago or have they finally let that one go? Also has Splat the Cat made a comeback this season? If not, what has happened there? Splat was the best mascot by far!
23.
You are an idiot What is it about the fact than if someone posts a remark Ipswich is always brought into the subject. I have been supporting for over 70 years man and boy. Can you say the same
70yrs is irrelevant daly unless you tell us how big your telly has been for all those years! Seriously though, the information given is flawed if they don''t take into account how many seats are lost to segregation.
24. I''m not sure what the situation at Arsenal is and given the length of time Wenger has been there it could well be different to most other clubs but at most clubs the decision to spend money or not would not be solely the managers
25. I think we''re all missing the point here, surely somewhere this is all Russell Martin''s fault! And Nutty, that''s not stealing, that just makes up for the time they sold me a burger and didn''t put a bun on it & by the time I got home and realised I couldn''t be bothered to go back.
