1.
I got tickets to this today, im looking forward to seeing Joe Lewis who I hope becomes a top player and should be in our first team. I am curious as to what level of performance I will see from Bertrand and Elliot Omnuzi..... well, whether they turn it on for England anyway.....
Bertrand usually makes the squad but I don''t think he makes the starting line up.  Didn''t even make the bench last few times I saw them.
 2. I listened to Canary Call for the 1st time ever after the Bristol City game and can honestly say I haven''t heard anything as funny as that in a long time, especially the guy who said that when the players don''t perform well they should get a written warning & the 2nd time it happens we should sack them.
 3. I have also read this in the local papers down hear & also heard from Pete Winkelman that this will most likely be a perm in January.
 4. I had money on England winning 5-0 with Rio getting the 1st goal.  I''m gutted!
 5. Speaking of Wes, he''s in the Rep of Ireland B squad for tonights game against Notts Forest. Seems like a strange match up to me.
 6. He''ll be shockingly bad in the Prem.  Have seen him play a fair few times and don''t understand what all the fuss is about.  He only looks half decent at MK Dons because he had a holding midfielder behind, an attacking midfielder in front of him & 2 wingers doing all the work and he trys to play the same ball every time. Lloyd Dyer & Mark Wright were the real talent in that midfield last season.
 7.
what about that guy who played so well for Luton at the weekend, assist and man of the match!!!....oh wait.....I get it....
I was actually at that game.  Martin played pretty well but missed a hatful of chances.  Rossi Jarvis was easily the best player out on the field that day.
 8. I see a repeat of the David Cotterill situation coming on.
 9. I''ve now sortred my team for this. Also, I have just done teams on the Telegraph fantasy football that includes Premiership, Championship, League 1 & League 2. If anyone wants a go http://fantasyfootball.telegraph.co.uk/
 10.

christ! school! i can just about remember it... Playing footy on the field instead of going to lessons... tucking your tie in to avoid getting "kippered" (Or Pinnied as it was sometimes known) staring at some girl u fancy from accross the class room who wont speak to as u know she''ll say no! Oh to be a young''un again! they dont know how good they have got it! jas :)
the tie thing is now called being "peanuted" lol
Having gone to a fairly rough school (no, not special needs!) with no uniform can someone explain to me exactly what this is?
 11.

....... watching her Hucks on the wireless - or she''s gone over to Toronto for his first match? Quite an old boys reunion with Brennan and Robinson on the field too. Hucks is looking a shadow of his old self though. Cheer up Angel - you''ll soon get used to Wes. He looks like a real entertainer - let''s hope he has end product! Anyway, I hear he does defence - unlike Hucks. We''ll see. OTBC
Unlikely being as it''s taking place in San José [;)]
How much you wanna bet Shazza? OTBC P.S. Over there they don''t use our convention of naming the home team first. I think they use alphabetical order.
If it''s the same as most other American sports then away team is named first eg, San Jose at Toronto
 12.

why?
Because we need two centre backs. If we released Doherty then we would need three. Simple as.
second option sounds better to me
He can play up front ;-)
I noticed he played the last 5-10mins of a game at the end of last season (Burnley?) up front.  Seemed like a bit of a timewasting tactic but did wonder at the time if Roeder was thinking about sticking him up top again at some point.
 13.
Robert Eagle, mark my words.
Not a bad shout, I remember the year the Doc won it on account of how poor the rest of the team were that year.
 14. I believe the Paraguayan keeper was Jose Luis Chilavert. Also remember David James playing up front for Man City not to long ago.
 15. Cheers Huddy, I''ll even forgive you for playing that awful so called sport.
 16. Well I don''t want to be left out, can someone send this info on to me aswell please?  Either PM me or email yarmy@hotmail.co.uk cheers
 17.

Derby, Wolves and QPR will all be up there come the end I reckon
Forest could be a bit of a drk horse I reckon...
Some of my mates saw a lot of Forest last season & think they''ll be one of the hardest teams to score against in the Championship next season and with Earnie banging them in up front as we all know he''s capable of doing at this level it might just be worth me sticking a couple of quid on them to go up.
 18. I saw him quite a lot when he was at MK Dons.  Always thought he was the better player in his partnership with McLeod.  Obviously not worth paying more than the £300,000 Colchester paid for him but would do a good enough job at this level with the right players around him as a target man & will score a few goals.  If we were to go for any of their players though I think we could do a lot worse than Jonnie Jackson.  Him or Lee Barnard from Southend.
 19.

Every day goes by gives you the chance to open up another thirty seven threads on the same subject.
Thirty seven?!?!?!?!
 20. There is no way Huckerby will be leaving us this month as I know for  fact that he has off field commitments at the club up to at least the middle of next month.
 21. At least it should be a nice drive home for me straight down the M1.  I got lost on the way home tonight.  F*!$ing sat nav!  Where the hell is Deopham anyway?
 22.
How we did not win this I will never know. Dissapointing. Croft -9 - MOM - A superb performance. He was just brilliant today. He did everything but score.
But he did!
 23.
Me and my Girlfriend just got back from colney and Lee clark was not there the whole two hours we where there, also ched was not there (someone said he was back in manchester) and dion was not training (injury maybe) also a shef utd LB (cant remember his name, he was blonde and tall) was training with the squad and another goalie, it all maybe nothing..
From what I remember DD trains with Aston Villa during the week to stay close to his family & comes to us before matchday.
 24. A bit off topic but I just wanted something cleared up, did you ever get a new seat SoB?
