1. Get in ther 2-0 should have no problem beating them on saturday if they play like that again. Snodgrass limping a minute ago aswell so could be out on saturday
2. would be nice if he was injured for saturday
3.
I''m going to be parking in Epping and getting the tube from there.
Careful with Epping though as car park can get full as its normally full of commuters in the day. We sometimes go to Cockfosters (Yes i know the name is stupid before anyone says) when we go to london but the only problem with that is though is that it will take you ages to get there
4. Yeh it must will definately be getting that
5. I have mentioned this on here already but I feel maybe what they could do is add another priority group for people with 5 stubs so it would be like this:Priority group 1: Away season ticket holdersPriority group 2: STH with 10 stubsPriority group 3: STH with 5 stubsPriority group 4: STHand so on....Then people who have at least been to a few away games have a better chance of going whereas now if you dont have 10 stubs you could have been to say 8 away games and yet you still stand the same chance of getting one as someone who may have not ever been to an.away game
6. I seem to remember someone lighting one up around me in the stand when we played millwall. Cant say Ive seen that too often. People started chanting "pass it round" to the chap smoking it aswell
7. Got Orient tickets yesterday. Got train pretty cheap and my uni halls are only over in Greenwich so can stay there and come back the next day. On the subject of the application system i do think it needs to be changed. I do now have 10 stubs so should be ok for charlton and bristol rovers but I have missed out on tickets for previous away games such as ipswich because of ballots. I have been to loades of away games this season as there easier to get to from london and were actually winning. But before this season i only went to about 6-8 a season so diddnt have 10 stubs. yet I missed out on games such as Ipswich to some people who have probably hardly been to any away games. I think they should change priority group 3 to people with 5 stubs which makes it alot fairer in my opinion and then have and then people with just season tickets to priority group 4. Then at least people who have been to a few away games have a chance of getting tickets
8. Might be too late now. We only got one at 7:30 cos it was alot cheaper than getting there later
9. Me and my mate are coming from Norwich on the train and we gonna hang about in london for a few drinks may be better thing to do. Gonna be all day piss up as we leavin Norwich at 7:30. Gonna hav a few bevvys in London get train to swindon and I believe our train back to norwich dont leave till 10:30 so will probs stick about for a few hours in london afterwards. Is anyone else going on train from Norwich? managed to get it for about £20 as capital canaries are doing cheap travel and london- noriwch train only worked out at about £15 each i think
10.
told the bloke behind me about a month ago that we would get promotion at home to milton keynes,he looked at me like i was a crazy man.think i might have the last laugh on this one
Well if we can win the next two games and charlton and co slip up a few more times I think you could just be right
11. Went to the game so here are mine:Forster - 7 Made some good saves after we had taken the leadR Martin - 6 Looked a bit dodgy first half but improved secod halfDoherty - 6 Not one of his best games looked shakey at timesNelson - 8 Very good solid job. Wassnt convinced by Nelson at all when he first came into the side but he has gone on to do a good jobRose - 7 Have to admit before today wasnt at all convinced by him and although first half he wasnt brilliant second half he was pretty goodLappin - 7 One of his best games of recent times and a great ball into the box for one of the goalsSmith - 8 Was awesome all game and he continue to impresses me more and more every gameRussell - 7 Took him a while to get into the swing of things but got better as game went onHolt - 9 Fantastic performance and great to see after a bit of quiet spell rescently. Had a hand in all three goalsHoolahan - 7 Drifted in and out of the game but when he had the ball he was pretty clinical with itMartin - 6 Pretty quite game for Martin Elliot - 8 Came on and got 2 goals. Both pretty easy but still done all he could have done and stuck his chances in the back of the net
12. Well like many I am starting to think it is a matter of when we get promoted rather than if so when do people think we can get promotion sewn up by? Im seriously thinking maybe Leyton Orient or Charlton away may be the ones
13. Obviously PL faces a big selection dilemna tomorrow with Darel Russell coming back! Does anyone else feel maybe Simon Lappin should be dropped in favour of Lappin. I do like SImon Lappin as a player but too be honest I havvnt been impressed with his performances as of late and I feel maybe he should make way for Lappin. Mcnamee has done nothing wrong and deserves too stay in the side
14. Although when we played wycombe this season we must have taken a good 3000 and won there although only just! Too be honest can see all our last few away games getting around 2000+ fans as apart from Bristol Rovers they can all give us pretty big allocations
15. I would also sat like one of the above Gillingham away when we equalised right at the end. We were really up against it down to 10 men and we really diddnt look like scoring. Diddnt think we would score from that corner but I think for once we got a bit of luck and for me it was the turning point this season after was a very poor start
16. Well I could probably write an essay on what they have done wrong. I would probably say hiring Bryan Gunn as manager has to be up there but i am increasingly starting to think going down was the kick up the back side the club needed
17. The trick is to just buy the tickets from norwich-london and then london-swindon seperately. We got two singles from norwich to London for about £20 and then London to Swindon cost about £15.
18.
There were a couple of people I know of who were praying for a late Yeovil goal to make it 3-1, as one of the betting specials was a Leeds draw and a 3-1 Norwich win double at 65-1. Anyone else get unlucky with this bet?
Yeh thats happened to me before. Think it was the home game against brighton the special was Swindon and carlisle both to win and us to win 2-0. The other two won and i seem to remember carlisle came from 3-0 down to win but of course we won 4-1 instead of 2-0
19. Well at least Mcdermott has alot of experience as a coach as he has been at reading in some sort of coaching capacity for about 10 years now whereas Bryan Gunn spent about 7 years in hospitality here became a scout (Which he wassnt good at) before some bright spark thought even though he has next to no coaching qualifications and no managerial experience whatsoever we should appoint him as manager anyway
20. It was very one sided today. I felt that todays game was a good chance for us to put in a good performance get a few goals and get ourselves going again for these next three tough games. And i feel we have done this pretty well. Swindon and Huddersfield both look on the wobble which hopefully gives us a good chance in next two games.Although was just looking at the match stats and Yeovil had just ONE shot on target all game and no shots off target. I would be pretty pee''d off if i had come all that way to see that
21. Have to admit would love it if charlton finished above leeds. Personally I think if we can get roughly 5-7 points out of these next three games i really should be us up. Next three games after that are tranmere A, Stockport H and MKdons H which are all very winable and should we win those three it should be done and dusted in my opinion. Would love it if we could seal promotion at the valley after last season
22. Dont think I have ever seen more fickle fans. A few months ago I remember them banging on about how brilliant Grayson was and now after a bad run hes useless. Too be honest I still think they have the quality to finish second but we shall see. Also dont know if it has been mentioned but surely they need to change the name of that forum. Something like WACCON (We are the champions, the champions of nothing) something along those lines
23. Im sorry but im getting pretty sick at how we are constantly never mentioned in the media. Fair enough last few years when we havvnt be up to much in the championship i understand why we diddnt get much media coverage. But the most coverage we have got this season is when we lost 7-1. Yet since then we have got nothing in comparison to what we got in the first week of the season. We have been top for about two months now and still they always either go on about leeds, charlton or southampton yet still never seem to have any time to talk about us!
24. Too be honest lets face it Yeovil arent anything special so we really need to try and put in a good performance get a few goals in so we are in good spirits for the next three games. I will go for a 3-0 win. Martin hat trick
25. Very sad news. Sounded like a descent manager and for him to die at such a great shame is a big shame and I hope that every ground has a minutes silence for him this weekend. As previous people have mentioned I think the media need to get their priorities right as they could not stop going on about the brige-terry saga yet when a football league manager passes away it doesnt seem to get anywhere near as much coverage!
