  1. £5-6 million not a chance in hell , only teams that might want him are the Sunderlands and Derbys £3million if we are lucky.
  2. Nobody wanted him at £2.75 million thats why hes here now and i dont think his value will have nearly doubled in the short time hes been here  cannot see anybody being interested at £5 million.
  3. And what if Billy Sharp does not cut the mustard at a higher level ? with Earnie you know your looking at around 25 goals , sell him and i cannot see a challenge at the top end of the table next season .
  4. Yes looks like he wants out and after his i love playing for Norwich talk not so long back all the more disappointing , at the end of the day not much different to our last big money striker. Will City be able to replace Earnie , very doubtful as we just cannot attract the Varneys and Sharps of this world anymore . As for a price £3 million £3.5 tops.
  5. Will they continue playing badly ? um their form at the end of last season was way above ours i think they were 3rd in the form table so nothing to suggest they will get relegated , it did look quite good at the start of  last season but Tragic seems to have put together a decent enough side . Will they get the debt reduction and investment they are hoping for ? that could be the big thing for them .
  6. Doubtful a Premiership club would want him , i fancy he will end up at Leicester didnt Mandaric want him at Portsmouth not long back .
  7. Mark McAllister has turned down the offer of a two-year deal from Celtic but may complete a move to full-time professional football this week. The teenage Dungannon forward trained with the Glasgow giants at the weekend and impressed Parkhead coaches but has opted to consider other options. "Mark was aware that competition for places was fierce and made his own decision," said Swifts boss Harry Fay. "We have two other firm offers on the table and a move may be tied up soon." "Celtic are a massive club but they have a lot of strikers on their books and Mark was aware of his other options. "He made a mature decision and if he goes anywhere it will be to full-time professional football across the water. "A move could be sealed before the weekend," added Fay. Cardiff City, Norwich City and Leeds United were also known to be interested in the forward. The 19-year-old played for Dungannon in the Irish Cup final and was named Northern Ireland Football Writers'' Young Player of the Year on Monday night. McAllister, who scored 15 goals last season, is part of the Northern Ireland U21 squad for the forthcoming games against Scotland and Moldova. Northern Ireland take on the Scots in a Firhill Park friendly on 24 May before facing Moldova in a European Championship qualifier on 1 June.
  8. I believe he did say he would decide which club he was going to join in May , and its not actually a transfer is it hes out of contract now so has no club . Sidwell has walked out on Reading today and is reputedly going to sign for Chelsea in much the same way .
  9. Huckerby is coming to the end of his career and Martin has a lot to prove , he may well end up being a flash in the pan . Sell Earnshaw and you will probably end up relying on Chris Brown scoring the goals to keep us up . As for team strengthening you wont do a great deal with £3 million anyway and thats all you will get for Earnie, and you might not find anybody willing to pay that , we got him for £2.75 million when he was a Premiership player.
  10. Huge mistake , without Earnshaws goals we would be playing in League 1 next season .
  11. You really think Hucks and Martin would score enough to get us in the top 6 ? no chance , you want out of this division you keep Earnie and add quality so that you get the best out of him , something we should have done with Ashton.
  12. Much the same as this season , nothing at all to point to a promotion challenge , in fact reading Roger Munbys article it looks as if our aim is to have a better Championship standing a few years down the line .
  13. Takeover News Close By Philip Ham Date: 2/5/2007 TWTD understands that Town are close to announcing an agreement regarding the restructuring of their debt, paving the way for new investment into the club.
  14. A little tweaking lol , we have 3 decent players in the whole squad , one is ancient , one is ageing and the other is almost certainly leaving . As a team we are now well behind our skint neighbours, the Board should hang their heads in shame at what they have done to this club.
  15. Why would he want to join Watford ? maybe because next season they will be challenging and there are no signs at all that City will be .
  16. Leeds to beat Ipswich , nailed on in my opinion .
  17. Spot on , does anybody really believe Martin would of got a run in the team if  Chris Brown had been fit .
  18. Huckerby wont get you half the goals Earnshaw will , if we have any ambition to go up Earnie must stay , unless he wants to leave then let him go . Anyway if he is sold do you really believe Grant will get the money to spend on new players ? very unlikely .
  19. We should be very worried an easy Town win is very much on the cards .
  20. No money to spend again this summer , Fotheringham is cheap and thats the main thing at this club , we are linked with the Crewe defender and the Cardiff keeper and its no surprise both are available for nothing .Want to challenge then spend some half decent money and bring in good players and dont rely on cheap cast offs .
  21. Anybody who seriously believes Delia has given £7million to this club should be locked in a padded cell .
  22. I think what mbncfc means is we are crap full stop and not just a good side having a bad run .
  23. The what a load of rubbish chant was very loud at the weekend .
  24. How we are playing at home we may take a point off Stoke and Ipswich but they are both capable of beating us , the other 4 we will lose .
