1. Most of the stuff on here is more about ego, self importance and playground behaviour than football. Players realise that, they get more of an idea about what the fans think of them by the crowd reaction on the pitch. Thats their buzz not reading this crap. It would do some of the executive good to have a look, even if they ignore the obvious WUM`s , where else do they get any feedback from?
2.
Croft only seems to be able to play well in the first half for some reason. He needs more consistency but the skill is undoubtedly there!
I wonder if that might be because he isn`t fully fit!!!!! He has not been the same player since coming back from injury but that will return. He works hard on the pitch and in training so it will come. When he first arrived we had been crying out for a proper winger for so long that even Mark Rivers would probably have created a good impression, I think perhaps I`m going too far here. Anyway, what I`m saying is I think too many people went overboard when he first arrived and I think when the dust settles after injury we will see he is a reasonably effective player with the desire and time to improve.
3. Waste of a shirt really, a coat hanger would have been cheaper and just as usefull. We will never know how good but I suspect he would have ranked alongside NW other great signings most of whome who have gone or are on their way. When you think about the crop of playeres he bought in last summer you wonder what he was on! Good luck MLJ and keep fit.
4. Hartson is a vegitarian, his skin is pure and unblemished due to his healthy lifestyle. Please dont poke fun at a top international stiker.
5. COME ON BOYS LETS HEAR IT FOR PETER GRANT. THERE HAS BEEN SO MUCH ANGER AND CRITISISM OF HIM AND HIS APPOINTMENT, LETS BACK HIM WHEN THINGS GO A BIT BETTER. HE IS DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR THE CLUB AT THE MOMENT AND BUILDING A NEW TEAM ON A SHOE STRING.ANYBODY THAT THOUGHT HE WOULD TAKE ON THE OLD SQUAD AND WORK A MIRACLE IS PRETTY NIEVE. HE HAS HIS OWN STYLE WHICH SOME WONT LIKE, FAIR ENOUGH, BUT HE IS WORKING HIS BALLS OFF FOR THIS CLUB AND AT LAST GETTING SOME REWARD. Blimey I did get a bit carried away there, relief that we won but also that PG and more importantly NCFC has had a bit of success. Keep it going!
6. Croft was a better player before his injury and I think he is still struggling a bit. The goal he missed on Tuesday was a bit of a worry, he made a total dogs breakfast of it, hopefully that was just an off day. He can cross ok but just seems to be lacking a bit of timing, again I think that may be down to his injury.I think the main thing he need to work on is his composure and developing an abilty to vary his game. He needs a change of pace so that when a left back come across he can slow then accelorate and leave him for dead. I am sure he will develop this into his game with good coaching.
7.
What I really struggle to get my head round is why our coaching team can''t seem to get any improvement out of Etuhu. Personally I''m confident the lad has the ability but we''re just not getting it out of him. If it''s in his head then surely to goodness in these days of sports psychology coaching someone ought to be able to do something with him to bring about an improvement.
I agree Barry. I certainly dont think we should right him off yet, unless someone wants to pay us some good money for him of course, unlikely I think. I have seen him play some very good games for us, yesterday he was getting forward more and can look very dangerous when he`s on form and coming from mid field into the box. He is hard to get the ball off due to his sheer size and when he is up for it and can shoot. His physique is excellent, I think the problem is in his head. I dont believe he couldn`t care less even though thats the way it can look, I think he has lost confidence and doesnt really know what his role is. With the new guys in he needs some time to sort himself out, maybe coming on off the bench with explicit instructions what to do. I think Grant believes in his potential as I do, the coming monthe will decide his future with Norwich so it`s up to him. Perhaps the new coach will be able to give him some direction, or perhaps a loan move to Div 1 if we can afford to lose a mid fielder at the moment.
8.
Have you two actually seen the guy play this season? He looked very unfit when I saw him! Anyway, we are into Scots now like when Rioch was here. Walker was into Welsh, Hamilton and Worthington loved  the Irish and now Grant will sign Scots! [;)] [:P] [ap] [au]
He`s looked unfit for most of his career, doesnt stop him scoring and frightening defenders to death though. The Celtic link might help.
9. Different sorts of player. Martin is a really good prospect only 17. Sharp hungry good touch and vision. He will soon be starting.  Brown doesnt have pace but was dertermined and worked hard in the air. Ran out of steam a bit but will serve us well.  Martin was plucked out of the Accadamy by PG. I am not sure yet about PG`s tactical play but I do think he can spot a good prospect.
10. Excellent performance from both the new signings, give them and PG great credit. It is deserved. All the whingers on her complaining that we have not spent enough money, bought in more rubbish etc lets see some huimility boys and admit your prejudgement was wrong.
11.
Enough already. Stop   KEEP THE SCOTS COMING.
12.
Both scored today and two more we ''looked at'' but didn''t try for!!!! We''re 1-0 down AGAIN!!! Someone said that Varney isn''t that good and that he''s over achieving this season, well I''ll tell you summit, I''d like to have seen him carry on over achieving and scoring for Norwich!!! wouldn''t you??? we need a goalscorer. Losing at home to poor teams, these are sad times. I don''t even live in England anymore and listening to the game on the radio is painful enough that it makes me want to support my local team here (Elche) rather than a this sad sinking ship. NO PASSION!!! NO PASSION AT ALL!!!! PATHETIC.
NO BRAINER MATE. SUPPORT ELCHE IF YOU WANT. TONS OF PASSION. GOOD PERFORMANCE IN THE SECOND HALF.  CHRIS MARTIN IS THE STRIKER WE NEED, WAIT AND SEE!
13.
A couple of others on here saw me... Maybe you should be looking for an ugly old man with cheese hanginging out of his pockets and a dog that has done a runner???  [:P] I went to see what the feeling was like around the ground and hurl a few insults at Delia & Co...  they have had none of my money since October 2005 and will not be getting any more either... The final nail has already been banged in to their coffin...  they are just waiting for the sleepy crematorium guy (you lot) to stoke up the furnace!!!
You all need to read the other thread that Smudger started. He was there, I didnt know who he was at the time but the thought did cross my mind, and discussion on this board has confirmed it was him. I`ve had a bit of fun at his expense which he has clearly been to dignified to respond to,I totally disagree with his approach but he is being honest in his claim about Tuesday night. He is extreme in his views but he was standing up to be counted on Tuesday night.I admire that, but his comments about other supporters totally blows his campaign in my opinion. You dont get support from people by slaging them off!
14.
A major problem is we can''t score goals, that, still hasn''t been addressed!.
WE SHOWED ON TUESDAY THAT WE CAN CREATE VERY GOOD CHANCES.TAKING THE CHANCES IS OBVIOSLY WHAT COUNTS BUT I THINK A LOT OF THIS IS ABOUT CONFIDENCE.WE HAVE BROWN WHO I THINK WILL SCORE AND I KNOW THAT CHRIS MARTIN WILL. HE HAS A GOOD RECORD  AND IS ALSO A COCKY LITTLE SOD WHICH SERVE HIM WELL.WHAT HE DOESNT NEED IS TO HAVE HIS CONFIDENCE AND FLAIR KICKED OUT OF HIM BY FEAR OF FAILURE.
15. I think we should have a statue of Smudger, it will save him having to stand outside the ground everyweek shouting. He could be standing on a soap box  shaking his fist towards the Board room.
16.
Having looked on there message board the St Mirren fans are gutted he is going and rate him highly so hopefully he will prove to be a bargain buy. Link below. http://www.blackandwhitearmy.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=17416
Good stuff...well done PG
17. How good is Chadwick, I think above average for this league. Chris Brown despite all the negative stuff is a good signing and working with Dion will help him. I think a potentially quality partnership with Earnie, if he stays. Marshall was excellent last night and PG had recognised the problems with Gallagher when he watched us play QPR, even before he was manager so he`s sorted that for the time being. The two new guys today I believe will prove to be good signings. The youngsters are on loan learning how to play football in competative rather than friendly games. Lets be honest, Grant has done a good job on a shoe string here. He has to change the team and bring in his own players. I think with the way thing are at Norwwich at the moment he has worked wonders. We will stay up, last nights performance was good, with additions we will be ok. Judge PG after next season, I think we will do well!
18. Alex, unfortunately there was no smile, only from the passers by anyway. I had assumed that Smudgers picture on his postings had been distorted in some way, I was surprised to see that in fact this is not the case! I half expected him to produce a piece of Wensleydale and for Grommit to pop out of his pocket. The Chelsea aspirations could explain quite a lot!
19. I was standing outside the main enterance for about 10 mins after the game finnished, waiting to pick up my son who was a ball boy. There was a bloke stood there shouting that he wanted the Board to be sacked. He stood there completetly on his own and everyone completely ignored him in the way that people ignore children having a tantrum by the sweet counter in Tesco`s. Most people thought he was waiting to be picked up by his carer.Oh dear me!
20. Johnny, Hucks was fantastic tonight and  probably would have scored if he hadnt been hacked down twice when looking at a one on one with the keeper. That performance did not show low moral, it showed low confidence . A big difference. What it did also show was the lack of a real striker, what does Thorne call himself, how on earth can Neil Adams say he had a good game, he did not attack the ball, was lazy, hardly ever in the right position and all in all a disgrace. As for the other guys they did perform, unlike in some previous games. The lack of confidence in front of goal could be what will make the last few games of the season nervy. Chris Martin showed some good first touches and a decent shot, get rid of Thorne and put him sraight in.
