1. Give me earnshaw everytime ashton is overated fat and unfit and plays when he wants to.Never thought he looked like a hungry goalscorer when he played.Earnshaw looks like he is busting a gut to get goals or do well for city.Being fat and unfit was the reason ashton is always injured i would love to see him attempt a back flip when he scores. The money we got for ashton is going to turn out to be the best bit of buisness this club has done for years. And in earnshaw we have someone who will always get goals that i am sure of and not throw his dummy ouy when things are not going well.Ashton never looked like a players player to me just interested in himself more than the team.GOOD RIDDANCE TO HIM.
 2. What a shame hope he is out for the rest of the season.Disloyal glory hunter.
 3.
Watched the West Ham game last night and realised on major point about the man, how very good he is when HE CAN BE BOTHERED! I have no doubt about his talents but, in my opinion, he just couldn''t be arsed for his last month or 2 here and showed a very selfish and sometimes sulky side that wasn''t pleasant. I think we''re better off with out a sulky non comitted player, who has crap hair too!!
Well said i felt exactly the same he his busting a gut to impress his new team.I  never felt he tried his heart out for us we was just that stepping stone for his big ego and his big head. All the crap he came outwith about wanting to be with norwich was just crap.I wish him all the worst.
 4.
I have just sent this letter to the board, will copy to the local press and post on city message boards.  I urge all likeminded city fans to do the same.    Dear Mr Munby   What has happened to our football club?   Mr Munby, I am sending you my thoughts in the same week as I will renew my season ticket, but would ask that you address the points in this letter during your earliest convenience at the next meeting of the Directors of Norwich City Football Club.   Although I address the letter to you, I wish the contents to be known to all directors.  I shall copy this correspondence to both local papers and post it on Norwich City fan sites on the internet.  I feel at the moment a great many supporters, such as myself; feel disenchanted with what is happening to our club.  Every single one of us is in various stages of grief and despair, from those who stood outside the ground protesting after the Ipswich game, myself included, to those who support the Board’s stance on keeping faith with the management team.    I am of the view that we need a total change in the management team.  The whole season has been not only a disappointment, but an illustration that the club has become stale under the management of Mr Worthington and his team.  The team on the pitch seem to be in the final death throes akin to  some hunted animal in pain.  They need putting out of their misery as quickly as possible, along with the supporters.  We look to the Board to do this for us, as the custodians of our football club.    I understand that you wish to reward Mr Worthington and his team for their past record.  The trouble is, as the season goes on and finally peters out, not many of us are going to remember those happy times during the past five years, rather the waste of a season, and the lack of foresight by the Board in dealing with the problems which have become apparent.    You set much store in stability.  The trouble is, if the foundations are rotten, the house is going to fall down, and it is, around our eyes.  What is most alarming, however, is that the Boards’ eyes appear to be shut.  I ask you to ask yourselves; what is really in the best interests of Norwich City Football Club?  To carry on as we are, watching a team we all love continue to flounder, or take the necessary steps to rectify the situation and  recruit a new management team to take us forward.                                                       I don’t pretend this won’t be a difficult decision, but can it be one that’s not addressed, but just left to be determined either by fate.  We are currently in a mid table position, but are not entirely safe from relegation.  The chances of promotion have long gone and were out of the door along with Dean Ashton.   I think most supporters of this great club can accept disappointment – but how many of us can accept the football we have seen this season, following as it has, the ineffectual year in the Premiership?  Our once proud style of play, (attacking football, played by those who possessed technical ability), has been replaced by the sort of football we could see on a public park.  There are no credible tactics, we have had almost two seasons of players out of position, or inferior personnel bought in (including this season a large number of loan players), and the standard of commitment and pride in wearing our shirt is distinctly lacking.  Many of these points need urgent attention and are in the manager’s domain.    I have decided to renew my season ticket as this club is precious to me.  I love football and I love Norwich City.  I cannot let the sorry state it’s in at the moment deter me from attending next season, and I hope that next season changes will have been made so we can all start again and rebuild the team, and return to the  philosophies of passing football this club has previously held dear.    I am sure the position of manager of Norwich City Football Club is one which will attract a great many credible candidates.  We do, after all, have the greatest fan base in football…  It’s time that we all saw some football again.    Thank you for taking the time to consider this letter.
Well said lets hope something comes from it.
 5. I have yet to see a worse player than ethuhi.
 6. Ethuhu has got to go admit it worthy he is absolutely crap no passion lazy touch like an elephant why did you sign him.
 7. This season in my view has been a stop start season all year injuries keep popping up the disloyal ashton saga seemed to drag on for weeks.I dont find it hard to understand the lack of fluency in our play this season due to two of the things i have just mentioned. The latest three signings are very good players apart from zesh someone dont know much about him.But i do feel worthy is starting to get a decent squad together allbeit possibly to late for this year but we do have next year to look forward to.
 8.

Predictably, Worthington mentioned injuries when quizzed at the ''Meet the Board'' evening in Sheringham about our poor season. Admittedly, injuries have played their part. My question is this: If we had a fully fit squad to date, where do you think we would be in the league and would we ultimately achieve promotion? Personally I think we would only be a few places above where we are now and we would finish 8th or 9th. Even with a fully fit squad, the first team would have too many weaknesses to mount a serious challenge.
good point - what does it matter if Andy Hughes, MLJ and JJ are injured?? even mckenzie and marney??  its not as if them being fit at the seaosns start helped acheive better results!! Safri is injury prone - we have to live with that.
Cant agree with you on mackenzie he has been a massive loss his season.Hughes i also feel has not been given enough time same applies to MLJ he has had some bad luck with his injuries you cant judge him as a player untill fully fit.
 9. I for one will be very annoyed if wly doesnt get a contract he is happy with to keep hi m at the club. His passing is excellent and he links play to our front players very well as well as scoring enough for himself. Some players are poor trainers but if they perform on match day that is were it really needs to be.Its a shame worthy or the coaching staff dont take a different view to training given all the injuries we have had from the training ground this year something definately needs changing there.
 10.
Still not fit. http://new.pinkun.com/content/NCFC/Squad/Injuries.aspx
shame still not fit i think he is a good right back
 11.
would you have offered that amount for earnshaw??? or would you have bid for another played??
What is the problem with earnshaw this lad will get more goals than the disloyal ashton ever did and he will be a much better buy in time Ashton used us as a stepping stone for his big ego and we paid very nearly the same for him.
 12. Lets not mention this disloyal pot hunter ashton anymore we was just a stepping stone for his big ego.could not have laced the boots of  the likes of chris sutton and bellars he will not go down in norwich history as a legend.Seven million plus it has brought me out of the depressing start to the new year with some glee. Now lets get jerome or mcsheffrey earnshaw halford and co in would settle for two of these.
 13.

No. A new guy could come in & try to change too much too soon, and we go into freefall, we won''t be relegated this season with him so why risk it?
Are you sure. Normally teams need about 50 points to stay up in this league. We currently have 39 points with 16 games to go, it could be tight. Still we might get lucky a few times, if Hucks can bounce a few more in off old Mr Thornes head!
Sorry Meeky but relegation is never going to happen in fact once he has strenghend  i believe we will be back on course for the play offs. I know a lot of work is needed but there is more likelhood of that happening than relegation
Always, long time no post, haven''t seen you on here for ages! If you seriously think we can still make the playoffs, can you come round here right now and give me whatever it is you are on?  Please?
Gazza xmas celebrations and new year and all that takes time to get over. Not to mention the terrific run over the xmas period.Feeling a tad peed of with latest form all this ashton saga has not helped glad his gone.Lets get jerome earnshaw mcsheffrey halford etc.If we get a coupleof these in or maybe three then the play offs are still within reach and safri should be back for scum game.Things could start to turn again for the better with some new players in.Ashton i felt was very disloyal good riddance to him he was never worth that kind of money.Still westham have never been very good at judgments thats why they found themselves in all sorts of trouble a couple of years ago.

 15. I am not to bothered to see him go good buisness for someone who i dont think put it in every week the last dozen games he at times was awfull .Dont know if this had anything to do with him wanting away he did a lot of mouthing on how much he wanted to stay here i think he could at least stayed until the summer very disloyal in my opinion good riddance. To get 7million plus is very good buisness i also think there is not a lot of difference between him and harewood at west ham and harewood would be available for 2 million.I watched ashton very closely dont think his body language while at norwich was  that of someone who loved the club. Now i have heard he actually wrote of some of the money owed to him to keep the deal going has made my mind up.I really hope we get this kid jerome i think he will turn out to be a much better player than ashton and someone with real pace which is something we have been lacking.Failing that earnshaw would be a good deal lets hope he gets both and halford from colchester we can all hope.At least we will not have to endure anymore sat about is ashton going or not it was beginning to piss me off.Might sound like sour grapes but as i feel he was disloyal to us i hope he struggles to get in the hammers side.
 16. What is all these negative vibes about robinson. Why is it as soon as we get a new player in he is slated i think he has settled in well and looks a very decent prospect.Has a lot of flair did any of you see him at wolves once he had settled in the lad was very good. allways played very well against us lets get of his back and give the lad a chance.
 17. Cobblers to ya .i mean northampton now but Born in fakenham
 18. The way i am looking at it is worthy has turned us into the form side of the division all but preston game which with all the injuries and suspensions it finally took its toll in this game. But everyone has to hold there hand out to him he has done a bloody marvelous job of late.suspensions and injuries have got nothing to do with worthy and while we are on this run every man woman and child should be behind him and the team.i am really starting to believe the play offs are becoming a reality and not an impossibility which it looked a few months ago.I have said all along that on our day with the full side out we dont have to be frightened of anyone and feel if we can make the play offs i really think we will them.
 19. If ashton is sold its got to be 7 million plus i dont want him sold but feel man city are going to grab him said this some time ago.If he does go and worthy goes and gets jerome earnshaw and koumas then it will not be such a bad thing.Three quality players brought in.
 20. The chap looks totally lost at the moment very clumbsy very little effort to get into games specially as he should be here to impress at this early stage.I originally thought he could be a decent signing but from what i have seen recently i was preying we wouldnt sign him.at leicester although he passed to wly for goal the rest of the game his effort was appalling lets hope now he has signed he starts  to get his act together.
 21. brilliant norwich on our day we can match anyone we must keep the consistency going.mcveigh superb today lets hope he gets that new contract.deano back to his best must not sell keep this up and i can see play offs looming on the horizon.well done worthy faith in you is starting to be installed again but still long way to go.my biggest concern is losing the safri the best midfielder in this leauge and as good as lots more prem midfielders lets hope he doesnt get picked in the african nations tournament.and the biggest question with deano in this form can we keep him i bloody hope so.once again well done to every norwich player yesterday now lets go and dent the blades and keep warnock mouth shut for a while.
 22. Southampton looked very ordinary i thought and luton were awfull there bubble has burst they will finish below us.worthy will have a good chance to get back to back wins lets just hope he dosent blow this one and mcveigh must start with ashton.Hope we see leon back on the bench this week we have really missed him this season.
