Just the sort of player we are in need of :) -

Ginger Southampton are only on 39 and right in the mix ATM so I am not sure why you think that would be less tough for Sunderland than WBA will be for us?
Because of team ability. That''s why I said in theory. Southampton need a point or three to confirm safety. Are now very solid in defence and Sunderland look pretty blunt in attack and aren''t really getting any better. Danny Graham looks like he''s never scored a goal in his life when playing for them. But WBA are higher in the table, so therefore in theory are a harder team to face. Although I haven''t looked at away form or anything. Not that form really matters that much at this stage.
It''s called clutching at straws :) Anything that keeps us up I will take
Having just seen the sky analysis he was clearly at fault for the second goal on saturday
Should''ve saved the first one as well.

Surely he wouldn''t be playing in any games including U21/3''s if he was sold.

Wigan Vs Swansea prediction
Sing up the river end replied to CanaryNewbee's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Swansea aren''t the team they are at home. They don''t have many points lately (3 from 21 ish) going for a Wigan win 2-1 , would love to be wrong though. -
Erm, team for West Brom?

Biggest game in City history
Sing up the river end replied to pete's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Turner will be back to partner Seb, who after 89 mins Saturday owes us one. If we can keep Lukaku quiet like we shackled Benteke we will win. Although Long always seem to score against us. .
You say you want Turner back , but you say we marked Benteke out of the game.R Bennett was marking Benteke , why should he lose his place.Bar one mistake near the end thought he was just about our best player saturday.Isn''t Turner out for the rest of the season anyway ? -
What Changed ?
Sing up the river end replied to Norfolk Stats Man's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The gradual change from attacking football to Hughton''s defensive dross. The fact the right/left backs don''t have a license to go forward and over lap the midfield. The midfield told to sit a lot deeper.Tettey , Whittaker and Ruddy got injured. Then hughton doesn''t change a team even when we go a whole game without a shot on target.I could go on............. -

I pray I lose my bet , but I thought relegation was coming.Put £20 on us to go down at 25/1. -
villa vs sunderland
Sing up the river end replied to Robert Barnes's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Does anyone really believe that Villa can hold onto this lead? They must have lost the most points of any team from winning positions.
Yes I think they will score again as well -
Newcastle - a shining light
Sing up the river end replied to crabbycanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Interesting now that apart from Sunderland we have a better goal difference than every team below us.
But not by much , they need to win & us lose so the swing would probably put us behind them all. -

Becchio looked good for us when he played??????????? Really?????????????? What on earth games were you watching?
Exactly. No movement
No movement off the bench... Becchio has played all of 163 minutes of football for us... less than two games worth.
Doesn''t change the fact he had no movement , couldn''t create any space for others that were willing to run.I don''t like to say bad things about our players ,but he simply doesn''t look good enough in any aspect.Hughton has clearly seen this ,the reason he isn''t playing.

Chris Hughton out, yes or no?
Sing up the river end replied to SYG's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
StayHappy with most of his signings ,RvW incoming.Possibly two wingers and an attacking midfielder (RvW''s words). Can only see us heading in one direction, that''s up. -
Elliot Bennett

I''m just hoping that he thought stoke wasn''t the right sort of game for him , Two vital home games coming up and he wants him fresh. That''s what I would hope, but might not be right :(
