Did anyone else feel an immense amount of pride just seeing our team in the tunnel before the start? There we were lining up with Keane, Scholes, Giggs etc. We have come a long long way i twelve months. And then we put in a performance to match........... Francis was superb...Viera eat your heart out!

I see palace have already had a £1.5 million bid for Harewood turned down. I cant see us offering that kind of money for him and anyway is he worth more than that?

would have to disagree with Ekoku too. He wasnt the most gifted of players i will admit but he did have a very purple patch with Mike Walker`s team at one stage. Seem to remember him scoring 4 goals in one game at Everton once. I suspect that was the game that convinced the Everton board to take Mike Walker from us too!!!

i thinks it fair to hope that if he has a similar impact on the Prem with us as he did in Div 1 then England should come looking for him. after all they are sendng someone to watch Greeno now on a regular basis so if anyone else in the team shines , then it should get reported back to Sven too. But then again maybe i am expecting too much in England picking their best players rather than their biggest names!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A point a game, DD? Would have been enough last year to stay up but not the year before.West Ham were relegated then with 40 points if i remember correctly. But still 4 points from those games would, i think, be a step in the right direction! I notice the press have today made a few comments about Big Joe`s commentating skills the other night on BBC..i thought i had misheard him mention that Redknapp was on the pitch and also PAUL Gerrard was playing in midfield for England but no the Daily Mirror journalist heard the same too..no wonder Ipswich are still on Division 1 and their manager still has delusions about his team being the best in the league. I also seem to remember him saying England were playing badly and needed to change things..when i thought we were playing well and lo and behold 5 minutes later we were 2-1 up!!!!!! Glad he is still their manager next season lol

The last time i saw Mark Rivers was in the bar at Walsall FC with his mate, Clint while Hucks and Crouch were creating mayhem on the pitch!!!! Says it all really !!

Players dont usually like to change clubs before the 30th June anyway as their contracts are to that date at most get another year`s signing on fee if they are still at the club at taht date. So it pays them to move after the 30th June. I am sure Worthy as his targets well and truly lined up. The only club who seem to have spent any money are West Brom and apart from Purse i dont think any of the others would add anything to what we already have. We do need a big centre forward who can hold the ball up tho`. Maybe the Crouch move is still in the pipeline...lets hope so!

i am exiled in the midlands these days and i dont think that Purse has agreed terms with West Brom yet..i was talking to a baggies supporter earlier today and he cant believe tha Meggo keeps on buying more and more defenders..looks like they are playing 10-0-0 formation next season lol

Had possibly the worst game i have ever seen a Norwich player have playing at Wolves under Mike Walker a few years ago when we lost 5-0 at Molineux in the dark days. I cant see he is any great improvement on what we already have. Would his head fit through the dressing room door anyway???

Hi everyone. Have spent too much time reading all these posts in recent weeks and thought it was time i joined in. 1) Best ever player i have seen play live was Ossie Ardiles. Saw him once run the whole game from midfield while at Spurs. No one else could get the ball from him but he was always available to receive it and he commanded the whole game. 2) On tv it was Johann Cruyff. Will never forget watching the 74 world Cup. That was football played at its absolute best. He had everything.
