  1. For me Ricardo, your report is wholly reliable and invaluable to anyone unable to be there and assess the players for themselves. I got frustrated with Tony Mc not taking his full back on; Doc used the ball well and Korey delighted me with a display which was mature and in places a little imperious. The boy''s attitude is quite amazing, this is surely a premier league player who must be interesting the England U21''s. As I posted recently, I have re-thought my POTS and Korey is right up there. This young lad makes us tick. Spoke on Rudolph. Korey made a big difference when he came on against Southend which I think opened many peoples eyes to how he affects a game. Great again on Saturday.
  2. Yesterday two "ladies" repeatedly sounded their horn as they drove along Carrow Road. They were a class act, throwing their dog ends out of the window and gesturing at the City fans. It''s possible they had just left off working in Kings Street. The funny thing was that we were actually walking faster than they could drive so the whole thing seemed utterly pointless. If everyone stays cool and sensible I think we can manage?
  3. This is a wind up. Two little binners trying to get a reaction from us after their lot lost at Blackpool. No one in the right mind could criticise FF; he is immense. He can''t kick but so what? Keane can''t pick a player but don''t tell anyone !
  4. Great stuff Ricardo. Completely agree. Smith was great. Doc didn''t put a foot wrong. All good. Passes and play was too condensed in the first half . Too many players around the ball at times. Holt and Martin stayed more central in the second half and let the midfield provide the supply which worked much better. That''s where the goals came from.
  5. Did Martin play the ball though for Holt when he missed the sitter in the first half ? If he did it was a great pass. This would mean an assist (almost) and a goal. No , Leeds and Colchester wouldn''t want him in the team or his 20 goals. They would much rather have Lisbie and Dichio. Jeez.
  6. From the upper barclay we don''t seem quiet. These posts are getting on my nerves. Frankly I smell the whiff of Bin from "Simon". I wonder where he sits?
  7. He played for Preston Reserves last night...would he play if he was just about to go on a move?
  8. Well as someone once said of him as a young Thetford Lad, if brains were dynamite he wouldn''t blow a hair out of place. Was Spillane injured?
  9. From Tribal Football Former Melbourne Victory goalkeeper Michael Theoklitos has signed a two-year deal with English League One club Norwich City. The 28-year old ended his time with the A-League champions at the end of last season as he pursued a contract in Europe and the Canaries emerged as the frontrunners. "Michael has always been the No.1 target this summer, so obviously I''m delighted he''s put pen to paper. Although other clubs were interested in trying to sign Michael he wanted to come and play for us and that is the kind of passion and commitment to Norwich City which I''m looking for in my players," Norwich boss Bryan Gunn said. "Michael came for a few days with us in March and myself, Paul Crichton, and in fact he will be a massive presence both on the pitch and in the dressing room." It''s a funny old game innit?
  10. I don''t think he ever got over the 5.0 thumping.
  11. I certainly think I do, sometimes I think the people who post on here are the same wonderful intelliegent specimens that phone into to Canary Call each week, judging by some people''s incessant ability to read a post and by the time they come to type their reply, have completely forgotten the OP and end up spouting a mish mash of opinions not at all in relation to the original shout. ha ha couldn''t agree more. I''m off for a lay down.
  12. Bury my dear friend I think you might need a glass of something chilled. Personally I think we all need a rest!
  13. Barclayman , I''m beggining to see how you are getting your post count up so quickly. Like you other posts about Lappin and Martin I think you need a rest [;)]
  14. Well that''s me told Baclayman. The winner came from a corner....you might like to check the build up to us winning the corner.
  15. I''m going to throw my two penne''th in here. Martin has been a huge part of our success this season. A good system with Holt and Hula, and CM is being asked to play in positions all over the place. The Southend game a prime example with him wider on the left towards the end (when by the way we scored the goals). He may need a rest but he now has all week,so unless he is carrying an injury (like Corey was apparently with his Ham) I can''t see any way that PL will rest him. I''m amazed at people who think he is lazy, or not committed. He is a terrific finisher and has been consistent all year. I agree that he lost his way before but I must say (reaches for tin hat) that sending him on loan to Luton was one of the best decisions Roedent made as presumably he could have let him go on free?   Would PL allow him to drop his standards in training etc as seems to be suggested just because he has signed a contract? No chance.
  16. I think it important to point out that I am far too young to have watched Juke Box Jury and rely on my good friend Bury Yellow to advise me on such matters. [;)]   Unfortunately whilst I appreciate the responses my fear is growing as clearly no one seems to know. That isn''t a good sign....
  17. Apologies for resurrecting this but it does seem to have gone very quiet? Anyone know the latest on the injury? JB has been great for us this year, need him back .
  18. Losing key players is the main one. Keep Drury, Rusty, Holt in the team all year without missing a game and we win more comfortably. I don''t know for sure but I wouldn''t be surprised if Forest have lost a few players since their successful run.
  19. Most amusing indeed. Harold Jarrold must have signalled the goal before it has hit the back of the net, for Sky to get over there so quickly before it had been disallowed. Hilarious. I bet the producer was none too pleased as it made them all look like plonkers. Still, keep it up Roy
  20. I think although in jest Mello makes a valid point. Can you imagine under the Donkey regime this happening?. I think it makes a very strong statement and if you add in LP''s fees it will be reasonably substantial. Hats off to McNasty and the boys.
  21. A very interesting suggestion Pyro. The theme could be "Why I Didn''t Go To The Game Today", and then could deal with "Why I Have Never Played Football" , and "Do Norwich Wear Yellow?" . Neil, (or Naail as he would be referred to) could then ask a question of the caller about his or her predictions about the future of the Club (Do you think we will go up ? etc etc) to which the caller could respond "I h''eint reelly shewer Nail". Or if it is Tony he could be shot live on air, which would help with the ratings.
