  1. What a plonker. Binners sell 12,000 season tickets. Imagine what they could sell if they were bigger than us? Oh hang on.....
  2. Fantastic. 12,000 season tickets. Well done Mr Clegg. What a tool.
  3. Guys , as I said on an earlier thread, Wes tore a Quad (thigh) against Tranmere. It never was a calf, nor a groin or anything else. Wes was out and the Club have been spinning the injury ever since, and who can blame them? Someone even said it started as a calf and he injured his thigh in training. Nonsense. Did anyone see him pulling his knee back during the Tranmere game? He wont play again this year.
  4. Andy; it would have been awesome. Still one of the best runners with the ball we have ever had. I remember THAT game against Cardiff when the Barclay politely asked Delia to get her cheque book out. Great player.
  5. My daughter plays for ITFC under 16 girls. I have to take her to Portaloo three times a week. She plays against NCFC as well as Arsenal, Orient Leicester and lots of other teams. It is great fun and your mate will enjoy it PS if the lad needs to be watched and he lives near Bury let me know
  6. Good point Nutty. Why is the FA presiding over this incident? Is it because it involves the Ref?
  7. Laughable isn''t it. Karsa is shown on live TV using some ripe old language and gets £500 fine, Lambert kicks the ball back and gets £1000. This was decided before they got there. Let''s just hope they don''t do something stupid next week and hand us a points deduction !
  8. Wasn''t he the ref that got into trouble for calling A Pot black?
  9. Hey don''t upset Cleggy. He''s doing a great job. Long may he continue. I wonder if they have ever sold out Portaloo since he has been there?
  10. Michael is himself a Norfolk man...and glories in being so...
  11. Very interesting lack of response from Pardew? Another year in League three or the SPL?
  12. Oh here comes Churchmans. The name of the old stand where all of the old sleepy buggers used to nod off during the games. A bit like the the City Stand without the aggression.
  13. A lot of people seem to be turning a blind eye to the earlier jokes on this thread?
  14. Was in the Corporate area on Tuesday Slade. Have to say Orient is a proper club. Good fans and back room staff. Hope you stay up mate.
  15. All things considered he is going to be a close runner for the Barry Butler. Great that we have several proper contenders.
  16. Coming back with the Leeds fans on the M11 tonight!!! Ha ha. One car had two very very blond ladies (assume mother and daughter, who must have shared the peroxide bottle) and a lardy "dad" all giving us the finger. Cue the Ant Hill Mob speeding up behind our car with arms, heads, legs and City scarves hanging out of the windows so that we could all give The Leeds Family a cheery send off. Respect to you Ant Hill Mob, and all of the Travelling support today. Raise a glass to the City....we''re back.
  17. Wes is in the wars. First it was a calf. Then a thigh. Now a muscle under the knee. At this rate he wont make next season either.
  18. Four points will do , and a point from either of our away games would be great. Surely one win from our remaining home games isn''t too much to ask for. I''m going for a lay down..if anyone cares to join me feel free.
  19. Angel can you just be sure on this? Initially he looked for all the world as if he had a Quad injury as his persistently pulled his leg back on the pitch. Then this bloke from another board said it was a calf, my blokes at Colney said thigh and now he has done it "in training" . i am a bit obsessive about this and am looking for any glimmer of hope!!! How do you know this? Please tell me it is totally unreliable and that he will play on Sat !!!!!
  20. If Whitbread isn''t injured then he will figure, particularly as Askou has broken his other foot. according to the "insiders"
  21. I might be wrong Norfolk but I have a feeling there is a bit of a media blackout on this. Would be good news for our rivals to know he is out . I think there might be a few more "late fitness tests" !.
  22. I think this rumour is now too strong not to be true. I have heard the same thing about the thigh (don''t think it was ever a calf) so I think we have to accept that Wes is out of the picture. Wes not playing for us, apart from his influence on our play, is the influence on the other teams. he is the only player this year that teams have man for man marked for example. McNamee is a totally different player. Likes to play wide whereas Wes likes to roam. I''m not sure it is fair to compare them. My betting is against Charlton we will go back to a 442, without Wes the diamond isn''t working.
  23. I was there last night and it was deeply disappointing. Some of the stuff written on here since has been silly, but as a blood letting environment , you are going to get some reaction to that kind of performance. the shape was wrong and Orient closed down all of the space on what seemed a small pitch. It seemed to me (and I am only a level 2 coach so what do I know!) that we needed to make the pitch as big a possible , and the introduction of McNamee did that. I promise I will keep the faith, but I think I might have to get through the Charlton game first! Can''t see us getting much there at this rate.
