1.
Amazingly, anything the FPA''s didn''t understand or couldn''t explain was consigned to "the black hole". Yet you only have to scroll back a few posts on this thread to see people really believe "the black hole" actually existed.
and not only did the black hole exist, it was often sneeringly suggested that it was in DS or MWJ back pockets.
 2.
The ref was indeed crap, but you have to say Harte''s over reaction helped to con him; the tackle on Korey was indeed worse. I now half expect us to justifiably appeal the sending off only for the cretins at the to FA extend the suspension.....
Absolutely, Ian Harte was equally a disgrace, so much for the "professional" respect they supposedly have for each other, cheating twunt
 3.
Sorry SPat - I''ve spotted a mistake in your post. There was some words after "Butlin''s".....
;-) I was trying to be vaguely polite.  Thouigh if it''s a decent festival with some popular beat combos, that''s fair enough...
 4.
Where can I watch the game with my 15 year old son in or near Derby (heanor preferably)
see posts re: Butlin''s
 5. What kind of madness makes someone go to Butlin''s in November?
 6. He brings publicity to the club. Like it or not, NCFC are a business and publicity is good. So what if he did a little credit card fraud 30 years ago, paid the price and it''s hardly the crime of the century, better than the assaults and criminal damage some of our fondest stars have been convicted of
 7.

As far as Chase was concerned our purple patch was a happy accident.  Don’t you think it’s just a little bit of a coincidence that everyone who worked under his regime wouldn’t spit on him if he caught fire?  The number of people who still share your opinion of Chase would struggle to fill a telephone box and yet you still don’t get it!
Actually, it''ll have to be a Dr Who size telephone box matey.
You claimed in the past to have been there protesting against him, why was that then?
 8.

One of the most popular and talented men in the country joins our board in an attempt to make our club better-known and more popular, and the best we can do is to try to start puerile homophobic chants? Grow the f**k up.
Stephen Fry is a comedian who very often jokes about his sexuality. I really don''t think he would take offence to a football crowd singing a song about him.
I''m aware of that, but it just makes us look like retarded simpletons who think that someone being homosexual is a ''novelty''.Bring on the Lord Melchett chant, I say! ;)
Embarrassing, no different to racist songs really
 9.
it''s to pander to the ''happy clappies'' who go for the ''experience'' the less of that football stuff the better maybe they could feature a few interviews with the mascots (kids) and show pictures of them with the players as well
If you don''t go for the experience what else is it? New windows to lick?
 10. [:)]
I have got to get this off my chest.I was at the game yesterday with my son who is 13,my mate and his son who is 15.If you were to have met me before the game you would have most probably come to the conclusion that I was a preTty decent family man who loves hie football, which I am.On the other hand if you stood next to me at a game you would most probably think the opposite, because I like many others get taken over by the sheer excitement only a football match can bring.Apart from one or two these fans you moan about are decent people who jusT cant help themselves if the odd expletive leaves there mouth. So please dont come on here spouting your absolute drivel.ITS FOOTBALL,GET USED TO IT MAN.
Can relate to that. [:)] The passion takes over and I turn into a swearing machine, sorry for anyone that''s nearby and doesn''t like it, but hey ho that''s football. It''s not to be confused with physical violence though. As for kids, well it''s a good educational experience for them to learn where and when swearing etc is appropriate, and it is appropriate at football when the wan*** ref gives a dodgy pen away.....
 11.
Shows how great you''re playing when your keeper is getting MOM!
sod off binner, we''ve just scored ;-)
 12.
MOM for me !!
Great saved pen, c''mon!
 13. Yeah, looking fairly dodgy with us counterattacking with little threat so far.How long will anyone bother to subscribe to the rubbish offy site when there is free streaming elsewhere?
 14.
Same old story.... Little club attracts celebrity fan....... and the luvvies wet themselves about it. If bi-polar and homosexual sits comfortably with football in your opinion.... then it just shows what a wet lot sit in the stands these days.I have no issue at all regarding these matters.... but when it comes to football it has no place. It simply reinforces my opinion that the club is little more than a man in a dress these days.
you have no issue but they don''t have a place in foottball, at least try to be consistent in your bigotry
 15.

I have been a fan of Norwich for 20 years, and I have always been happy to pay whatever to support my team. In a season, this would usually include a) either a season ticket or a membership - with a membership I would perhaps get to 9 or 10 home games and 3 or 4 away a season. This has depended on my situation as I have been away at uni some years and it hasn''t been practical to get an S/T. b) A home or away shirt c) Travel to and from matches d) Refreshments in the ground, before match and at half time e) Programme every match f) Other items as the season goes along - taking family to matches, buying other bits and bobs etc etc. Anyway, this year is one I haven''t purchased a S/T for. Not because I can''t afford it particularly but more because of my work situation. I actually think season tickets are reasonably priced compared to some clubs, but a single matchday experience for a fan is becoming almost impossible. Here goes (Swansea match as example): Ticket (with super membership) £29 Ticket Booking Fee £1.50 Train/Petrol & Parking to match: £10 Refreshments (in ground only - 2 snacks and drink): £7 Programme: £3 Basically, this means an average HOME game for me would cost in the region of £55,and this is without a couple of pints and other refreshments before the game. Now, don''t get me wrong, I love watching my team and I would rather do that than anything else on a Saturday afternoon (I had a brilliant day at Glanford Park last Saturday) but at that cost per match I just cant afford to go as much as I would like to. I don''t have a bad job but there are bills to pay and food to buy etc, and I just feel that the club are pricing the casual fan out of being able to afford it regularly. I know the club is in debt, but surely a £5 reduction on casual match day tickets and getting rid of the ridiculous booking fee would be a way to get crowds up to 26 -27,000 instead of 24,500? Sorry if this comes across as a big moan (it is really) but I am just concerned that we may be pushing some fans away.
Normal supporters who can''t pay the ''queens'' shilling you are no longer wanted. If however Norwich is your second team and you''ve got wads.... come on in. Don''t bother if you don''t get too excited during the match as this will please the other  sycophantic luvvies around you.
ah, you''re getting all confused again. What are the club mean''t to do, reduce the price if you can prove you''re working class? You want us to compete at the highest level, try having a look at the prices the top clubs charge to get in regardless of whether they''re owned by a cook or a crook. Modern football is rotten in many ways, but  NCFC do a fairly reasonable job balancing community and the greed of the players/agents/managers and their self-serving gravy train. Why do you care anyway, you don''t go to matches do you?
 16. "the new audiences are people who wanted to go to matches but were put off by the poor facilities and crowd violence" (Irving Scholar, former chairman, Tottenham Hotspur FC).Nothing wrong with pricing chavs out of the game, they can watch it at home on their 50" TVs and do their fighting somewhere else [:P]
 17.

To compare Eric Morcambe with Stephen Fry is a little bit extreme...
This, from the beak that tried to suggest that Horatio Nelson was "better" than Fry. Better at what, exactly ? Fry probably wouldn''t have been able to command a vast flotilla of ships, but would Nelson have been able to construct a joke in a foppish manner about quantity surveying ?
Ahhhh... but Nelson did it all with one arm and an eye patch. Fry only has a sore bottom to contend with.
You''d wet yourself with fear in the presence of Stephen Fry that''s the truth of it, and you know it
 18.
I''m just struggling to believe that there are Norwich fans on here who don''t seem to want Norwich to ever be a success, would you rather us be signing totally crap players so there is no chance of promotion, surely when you are buying your season tickets etc. like me, you go to every game hoping to see a NCFC win? But obviously not, you don''t like and are affraid of success?????!!!!!
Sometimes things are a bit more complicated, you might understand when you grow up [;)]
 19. Fact is, the most fun we''r likely to get in the next few years is challenging for promotion from the championship and for me that''s more enjoyable than getting whipped in the Premier league. It''s impossible not to want us to get promoted but if we do I know it won''t be as enjoyable a season. I love the real foorball experience of going to the likes of Sheff Utd, Oldham etc much more than paying through the nose at Stamford bridge and their gloating to**er fans, but the chance of sticking one over them makes it almost worthwhile. The posters on here who can''t see that promotion isn''t the holy grail seem to be the teenagers who probably don''t ever see City away from Carrow road. Yes we all want to see Norwich recreate the days of 1992/93 and even earlier, but until the premier league is totally re-vamped with wage caps, limits on foreign players or something then all we will get with promotion is over-priced and under-enjoyable match-day experiences, mercenaries, little old Norwich patronisation, whippings and mostly scrapping to stay in a league like Bolton, Stoke and the other teams who don''t play the way I want to see City play. Still want us to go up though..probably [;)]
 20.

Thing is Morty, most people owould view it as somehow racist. I don''t know why, but i think people have started looking for racism when its not even there. If your kid had said "That man over there with the brown face which would indicate he''s unemployment has a pertruding body odour'' then yes, he''s been racist. But he hasn''t said anything derogatory. I don''t use the word coloured as i think some take offence to it, fair enough. But someone asked me who someone was and i said "He''s the black one" and a gasp of shock horrow came from the other persons mouth. I was then told "You can''t say that, that''s racist!". Clearly they were the one''s who thought being black was an insult, and are racist themselves :)
If you''re of non-white persuasion and are offended by racism, then fair enough. If you''re white and feel the need to be offended by someone else being racist, then seriously, butt out, its really none of your business.
So if you''ve got a black friend and someone racially abuses them, you really shouldn''t get involved or even offended if you''re white? hmmmm. How about if you''re German and your friends are jewish and you see their house being burnt down?

 22.
So, back to the topic: is Norwich''s lack of black players due to a) A concerted effort by the board, or b) Black players'' unwillingness to join the club/move to the area due to the locals'' attitude.
Is your utter stupidity due to a) Your parent''s genetic shortcomings or b) You having a personality disorder
 23.

I guess that he will be back up for Drury at best???
Doubt that Smudge. He is here to play but obviously he has a tough task ahead of him because Drury is still an excellent performer at this level in my opinion. However he will get opportunities because I would expect Drury to miss some games through injury. So good left back competition was essential because I wouldn''t have been happy with either Rose or Lappin out there in the championship.
Drury will be backup for Smith, no doubt about it.
