  1. Please let the binners use that hastag on next seasons shirt!
  2. Just expand the essex border. All mockney t**ts there anyway so makes sense. Can leave the rest of Suffolk though as half of them are City anyway 😉
  3. Wonder if he cannhave a word with diego valdes. V classy operator here in México but not sure if he could take a more physical league. Our new 10?
  4. Easy day for Lungi today if he's up against a midget! Rotherham really have a jockey up front or has Google gone mad?!
  5. Really has to be 3pts. There isn't an easier game in the league so no excuses if we want to sneak into the top 6
  6. Tea and a lump of coal. That'll do. Glad to see him doing well. Hopefully pip the binners. Just need Leicester to actually get back on form.
  7. Que Z-X-3, were going to Wembley
  8. Why don't we have investment from Gazprom or Putin?!
  9. You see im the total opposite buh. Would be more than happy for them to go up so long as we do too. Barring selling our souls to someone so dodgy they make a Millwalll fan look like a girls blouse, neither of us will ever trouble the top 4 or a cup ever again. The derby in the top flight would at least make the season worth watching.
  10. All we can hope for is a good amount. Yes, goals are worth a premium but if we got around 30odd for a once in a generación talent like Emi, then Josh could fetch 20 plus another 5 for London weighting 😉 Football these days is totally mad though so 40m or buy a binner!
  11. If it was anything from Greene King, they can keep it.
  12. And nowhere near as good a footballer! Brentford / Palace / Wolves I can see. Nobody above that level.
  13. Ol' Ronaldo taking offense at the constant chants of "Messi", I particularly enjoyed. Maybe he could go full Cantona and karate kick a fan?
  14. I really wonder how much of these stats a scout/coach bother with. They can be made to fit any argument. For example, say Nuñez gave the ball away a lot as Kenny wasn't showing for him? Or he took a hospital pass from Kenny and just had to try and get rid of it. Vice versa of course - not an attack on Kenny but its a team game. If the player in possession has no options, then it is poor coaching, off the ball movement and teamwork at fault rather than the man in possession. If you watch one of the really top sides, there are always 2/3 options on. Take our Billy for example. Can have great passing stats in a side where he knocks x100 5yard passes per game to keep possession ticking over. Put him under pressure with no options open and you get the Norwich version. We often have to play back into trouble or hoof as an option. Not helped of course by constantly tinkering with the side. No great surprise we look better after a partnership has been established for a few games. Be that Kenny and Sara, Nuñez and Sara, Sargent and Barnes etc For me Wagner overcomplicates what is a simple game. We know (or should know by now) who our best xi is. Barring injuries that side should get a decent run together. Also means those coming off the bench are busting a gut to get the shirt.
  15. I think if you asked most fans who "belongs" in the PL and currently aren't in it, the number 1 answer would be Leeds. Leicester, Wednesday,Mackems probably follow. Then soton,us,binners, blackburn, wba, watford etc. Leeds are a big club. Don't like them but can't deny it. The binners are a middling, family club who flit around the top two division, much like us.
  16. True. Remember a lot of defensive mistakes under Farke as well. We were always able to score one more or the opposition didn't take advantage of them. It's a big problem once up though. PL sides do not miss from those mistakes. So if we make 3/4 ridiculous errors in the champs, we get punished maybe once. At PL level it is the 3 or 4 times. Why tighter, more physical sides do better once up. They dont make so many errors at the back. Hughton-esque football is not something I want to watch but it's the way to survive up there. Keep it tight.nick the occasional 1-0
  17. We don't control games a la Farke though. It's just not convincing and we always look to be one stupud mistake away from dropping points. Fair to say that probably applies to most in this division but how many chances do we gift the opposition per game?! As you say, his record is now picking up and long may that continue. A good couple of spankings and clean sheets would certainly help his cause further
  18. Unfortunate but true. Game is moving further and further to TV. All about the minutes that can be generated from pundits/discussions. How long can we stretch out a coverage for? Cheating can easily be stamped out but no one is willing to do it. Crowding the ref, managers comments, all leads to the c**p people no doubt see down the parks at grass roots. Not a rugby fan by any stretch but discipline they have right on the whole
  19. My phone drives me mad too with auto correct! Revolutionary thinking drafting in one of the women's team to play CM. Numez and Sarah?! 🙂
  20. Just need to combine the two!
  21. Reckon they'd prefer to be on the end of 5 mins of booing than a gin soaked slobber on the cheek
  22. He's got a pineapple on his head, he's got a pineapple on his head, he's got a pineapple on his head, and his name is Johnny Rowe!
  23. Would be fine if we had the players for it. We had a side of "man city light" players. The idea of getting a pragmatist a la Big Sam, Dyche or Colin was never going to work. Trying to transitioning from A to B with zero time, zero budget and zero possibilitymof it working. The point of a sporting director is strategy and mid to long term planning. Total mess resulting in the past 18 months and the fact that a "small minority" ends up booing decisions during a game.
