Would like to know how many players we get over the line and sign when it has become public knowledge. Seems too often everytime it becomes public, we hardly ever sign that player.

They would do very well and probably be in top 2, but you just have to look at our midfield yesterday. 3 central midfielders in Cantwell, Sinani and McLean. It was always going to get over run. That's the area that we lost the game. They were at full strength and we wasn't in midfield which is usually where you win and lose matches.

On second thoughts Plymouth wouldn't be a bad League 1 club to go to as they will be pushing for play offs. It will benefit us if he goes to play for Plymouth and then comes back to us in the championship as we will be expecting to dominate more often than not just like Plymouth. But if we are in the prem and he's coming back and going into the team/squad, just hope he gets tested enough defensively to improve.

He was good enough. It was the new Peterborough manager not wanting to play loan players as he wanted to start players that were going to be there next season.

Was hoping Mumba would get a champs loan instead of League 1 but not to be. Yes I would definitely take Williams back. He was a player that always gave his all and was fairly consistent. Was probably our 3rd best player of the season last year (granted it wasn't hard) but I would be pretty sure he would be a great signing in the champs. I actually believe he should be playing RB and that would improve his attacking stats as well.

I'm hoping we sign Scott Twine from MK Dons, could of used him in the deal.

He had injury problems in that season and only started 6 times. Still in a class above Placheta regardless of the 'loves the club'. At least he would of showed some fight and passion as well.

Some people are underestimating how big a loss Buendia and Skipp are to us. They were easily are 2 best players last season. It was always going to take time for our new players to get up to speed of the league and to gel with new team mates.

Mattias Normann is earning just under £25k a week at Rostov. So would be within our wage structure

Nat Phillips is apparently available for around £10m - £15m from Liverpool. Maybe that is one Webber could structure for less with a sell on clause. Maybe another CB option.

Not a rumour but a CB we should go back in for. Jerome Onguene from RB Salzburg. He was linked to us in 2016 when he was at Sochaux and came to Norwich for a 'fact finding mission', I'm not sure why he never signed. Guessing he was put off by our training ground etc. He is strong, quick and good in the air. Would cost between £5m - £8m. I'm guessing he would qualify for a work permit as well.

Would like to see one of these players fill the Buendia hole.... Ryan Kent from Rangers, very good stats last season. Wages shouldn't be a problem, good age and would have a good sell on value. Would fit our player criteria. The other is another Argentinian, Ezequiel Barco who plays for Atlanta, he has a great understanding with Martinez who plays upfront. Maybe he could strike up that understanding with Pukki. Also at a good age with the potential to improve and increase in value. Thoughts?

Doing some research he looks like he's currently on about £24k a week so not a million miles away from what we currently pay our top earners on average. I think he would be a massive addition to our squad and if there is any chance we can do a deal then we should. I was also wondering if he's in the 5 that we have shortlisted 🤞

I would like us to try and get Mitchell Dijks back if possible, maybe the same kind of deal as Quintilla. Was a brilliant attacking left back for us as he was strong, quick, great in the air and could defend as well. He's only played a few times for Bologna this season and they've just signed the highly rated Hickey. I think I'm right in remembering that we did try and sign him permanently, Webber wanted him and Dijks wanted to stay but we couldn't agree financially. Thoughts?

Unfair criticism of Snoddy as he was our most consistent player when here. Still would take him back here for competition. Great lad to have around off the pitch too.

No links, but wouldn't mind seeing us sign Charlie Kirk from Crewe. The attacking midfielder fits the bill of being a young hungry lower division player with lots of potential. Just got promoted with Crewe but still wouldn't cost a lot. Crewe were well known for producing very good talents, not so sure now, but could be a potential bargain.
