  1. As soon as Rose kicked the ball out, Sarr got up gingerly and started jogging towards the play.
  2. My favourite memory is Norfolk playing Leicestershire in the Nat West trophy in 1985. Anticipating watching England captain David Gower, Peter Willey, Jonathan Agnew et al up against a very good Norfolk team including Parvez Mir and Quorn Handley was exciting. Until they battered us with bat and ball...
  3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59107413 Something to divert away from the new manager threads. Irrespective of personal bias toward either team or clientele, I think Arsenal were right to keep the ball. I am so jarred off with players feigning injury to break up play or wind the clock down. We saw it time and time again in the Champs when teams just wanted to protect a point. The talking point I guess is who decides what is actually a serious enough injury to stop the play immediately - Head Injuries? Blood?
  4. Biggest source of female photos is Til's hard drive...
  5. ...on Delia if it meant we didn't go anywhere near him as Farke's replacement.
  6. This also reminds me of fiver-waving Binners🤣
  7. I agree with this 100%. As they said on MOTD (wash my mouth out) several of this season's teams have started so badly - was the stat something like 2 wins in 40ish games for the bottom 7? We are seeing Normann as a real find, Kabak is settling now and we were gritty rather than pretty yesterday earning a point from a team who usually casually bully us to a 2-0 defeat. Confidence from these tiny steps could work wonders and hopefully we have started the push that snowball down the hill.
  8. Easily head and shoulders above the others and the best on show today.
  9. Every time I see the name bringbackchippy, I think 'simples'
  10. There is a poster on there still claiming they have the best squad on paper, just not on the pitch!
  11. Absolutely this. Confidence low. Burnley a big, physical team who we are never great against. A small step forward but a step forward nonetheless.
  12. In other news, the Binners are throwing away their lead at "The likes of" Accrington...
  13. Half time couldn't come soon enough. A breather, a regroup and hopefully Farke has read enough from the first half to at least keep this point and hopefully take all three.
  14. That ball from Normann to Aarons was class. But that lack of confidence meant nothing came of it.
  15. Yes, I noticed this today. He tries threading passes where there isn't really the gap for it. Dimi is playing well I think today.
  16. Shocker from Wood. Burnley do the cute Prem thing by surrounding the ref immediately. Yellow of course.
  17. I guess I am looking for positives and willing to support the team rather than sticks with which to beat it after a 10 minute settling in period.
  18. Disagree entirely. We have looked positive going forward. Earned a decent free kick and given Burnley plenty to think about.
