1.
Muzinic wore seven or eight differently numbered shirts during his time with us. That was the era when the number on the shirt reflected the position you played in. So it also reflects on the signing in that we spent a then club record fee on him, and didn''t have a clue where to play him! Despite that, he was undoubtedly a quality player. We just didn''t know what to do with him, neither did, surprisingly, John Bond. Mind you, the fact that Muzinic needed a translator all the time he was here probably didn''t help; football maybe a universal language, but most people would have had problems understanding the quiet roar of Duncan Forbes even if English was their first language! Mind you...Muzinic and Forbes only played together for one Norwich league match, and we lost that one 6-1!
Thank you for the renewed interest in my illustrious Canary career. For those of you still in the dark about me, here I am in full flow vs. Middlesbrough in 1980...we may''ve lost 6-1 that day but Big Dunc was 37 and slower than Jan Molby running through treacle. 2.
Drazen Muzinic £300,000.
I was a snip for that price. Bondy had to reduce his cigar ration for a month to fund my move. How many other players wore as many shirts as I did with such distinction? Not many I can tell you!
 3.
For the record the biggest waste of money and the worst signing ever was Muzinic ..... a club record fee and he only played 23 times for us because he was so poor.
Oi!!! - I was a superstar at Red Star Belgrade...Dontcha Know!
 4.
http://canaryseventyninety.blogspot.com/2010/03/clubs-we-have-never-met-in-league.html
Thanks aitch - I was mixing the current and past Aldershot and Stanleys with the defunct versions!   Great site BTW - added to bookmarks now. Keep up the good work!
 5.
Last 20 years or so - we''ve played Barnet, Cheltenham and Dagenham and Redbridge I know, just wondering if there was any other current league teams? We''ve never played Morecambe or Macclesfield too I guess?
Morecambe Hereford Macclesfield Burton Albion A decent Piswich team I''m sure we played Peterborough in the Milk Cup just after we won it.
 6.
Been having a gander at the Cardiff message boards, it seems that that  blue scum from down the road are very interested in buying Chopra (for 3 mill).I hate to say it but it would be a brilliant signing for them as he was the top striker in the championship this year.
Piswich Town & Michael Chopra - Both overhyped and underperformers and are therefore made for each other.
 7. 9.

Five, and Eagles won''t be one of them. As a tie-breaker, what will Norwich''s attendance be at the first home game of the season - I say 25,949.
Would that be Glen Eagles ? 26400
That joke doesn''t even warrant a repl...oh $hit. While I''m here, I''ll go for 7 new signings (3 from Asda, 2 Sainsburys, a Morrisons and 2 Aldis) and an attendance of exactly 27000.

 11.
Was out and about in the city last night, and happened to bump into Lee croft outside Delanys. After a few minutes of conversation about Derby (as i have been there most of this season at uni) he let it slip that he is coming back to Norwich this season. In my opinion this doesn''t show progress, and is not a favourable signing. Pic here for proof: http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/7489/31201408093291064574386.jpg
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NONO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 12.
19 May 2010 18:38:39 I have a mate who works down at colney and he told me that Nicky Butt, Andy Carrol, Leon Best and Also Fraser Forster. It is believed that Nicky Butt will be arriving on a free transfer while Andy Carrol will be coming on a season long loan from Newcastle along with Fraser Forster. Leon best is rumoured to be sealing a deal to norwich which is believed to be in the rejon of 1.5–2.0 million. Also seen in the city centre this week was Marcus Tudgay and Tommy spurr both of these players are rumoured to be agreeing deals at carrow Road following Sheffield Wednesday''s relegation from the championship. Another couple of Lamberts Transfer Targets for next season are the released duo from Sheffield United Jmaes harper and Henri Camara. Darel Russel will be signing a new deal a carrow raod which should keep him at norwich until the end of next season at least. The released Gary Doherty is rumoured to be signing for plymouth. Rumoures buzzing around the training ground is also Owain Tudor Jones is going to leave norwich for Yeovil.
Don''t believe a word until they''ve been spotted at Asda...
 13.
Can''t believe anyone hasn''t raised one of the greatest...Drazen Muzinic...Yugoslavian (it still existed in those days) international, signed by John Bond from Hadjuk Split and a club record signing if memory serves me right.  Utterly useless, failed to adapt to English football.  Bond apparently said that he''d never actually seen him play and signed him on reputation!!!
Oi!
 14. Not sure who you mean WITS... Marc "13 seconds" Libbra? Cedric "Bordeaux To Dereham in 6 Easy Steps" Anselin? Julian "YouTube" Brellier? Jean Yves "Nothing Interesting" De Blasiis?...
 15.
Bailey missing the pen may have been his cry for help..."Come & get me City." Thank God we didn''t sign there donkey defender!!
Bailey is the only Charlton player worth a look if we are really serious about an assault on the play-offs next year.
 16.
OJ Koroma - did he ever play for us?   Yes. away at MK Dons in the cup. Missed a sitter!
What a shame we didn''t have Teddy Sheringham on the books at the same time. I quite liked the idea of a forward pairing of Sheringham & Koroma...Ok, I''ll get me coat...
 17. Plenty has been said on this board about the lazarus-like improvement from Michael Nelson this season. Yes, he''s looked slow and one-dimensional at times but very, very effective at others alongside the Doc. He made Askou the forgotten man for the second half of the season but yesterday I saw glimpses of why Askou and the Doc looked so good together. Askou wasn''t at his best but he was playing his first full game for ages. So, if you were in charge, who would be your centre back pairing next season? Is the Doc a certainty? Who plays best alongside him?
 18.

You can keep talking the talk but after the FDC deductions you budgies 30 points you won''t squawking the squawk,
You really are in cloud cuckoo land. We wont even know the result for at least a month, strangely enough after next years fixtures are out. Once you see that Cowling has been leading you all a merry dance you will want him out for destroying your club. Apparently some of your fans beleive that any points we are deducted you will be given. Even if they were right 0 + 0 = 0. Have fun in league 1 with your huge support, your average gate will plummit next year with us, Leeds and Millwall promoted and Southend relegated. O dear maybe administration looming once you all realise what an idiot Cowling has been. Please come back after the result of the hearing and let us know your opinion, till then FO
The only team that will be going into administration is Norwich City. Once your promotion is revoked, your creditors lose patience, and your 33 million pound debt comes home to roost; you''ll be in administration to slump back into League Two where you truly belong. You''ll be forever the team that came bottom of the league in 1956/7 losing 7-1 to Torquay - FACT.
Ok - I''ll give you that one. FACT
 19.
I''m sad, deluded, jealous and I support a tiny non-entity club who have failed miserably this season. I''m on your message board because my club do not have enough fans to say anything worth reading. [|-)]
20.
did u see the old boy sitting behind lambert, nice moustache ian atkins W a n k e r
Agreed - What a bell end. Couldn''t bring himself to be magnanimous about our superb season. Didn''t bring any value to the programme and shouldn''t be invited back.

 22. This site may be able to help... http://www.livesoccertv.com/match/135689/charlton-athletic-vs-norwich-city/ It''s advertising the repeat as 4.00am Eastern Time - isn''t that 9.00am here?
 23. He''s been spotted on other boards - Charlton quite recently I think but, quite frankly he''s not worth wasting time on.
 24. Both Charlton games for me. (I missed Leeds at home because I was on holiday in Florida - it was a close decision but I am keen to retain the use of the lower half of my body) The home game because our 2nd half performance topped by Holty''s late equaliser made me really think we did have the talent and b0ll0cks to achieve something this season. Yesterday because results everywhere were perfect for us and how often do you get the actual result you need away from home to win something? And also because of the celebrations afterwards all the way home and into this morning.
 25. I absolutely love this. I didn''t appreciate how loud we were when I was in the middle of it. The really great thing is how much our accent comes through - "... up the football league we gew..." Great day - I''ll never forget it and I wish there were more like it!
