  1. He may be great. I have my reservations speaking to solid sources. If we sell, it's the Wild West. No turning back.
  2. I'm with you. What is the current problem? I speak to someone who is very knowledgeable in the game. He feels it's a DOF problem due to cohesive issues with coaching team. In essence the DOF is not a football man. What I would hate is a club with no sole.
  3. I would rather Bernard Mathews take over. Joking aside please do not vote for this takeover, we will be destroyed.
  4. Love your passion Big Vincent and I agree with some of your points, but we are in the same position with the same llevels of debt. But in this time we have seen more billionai owners over more clubs , so where do we fit. It's always down to recruitment and coaching.
  5. Totally agree. I prefer the status quo. Better football decisions, with guidance. Webber gone and a stalwart DOF. I know exactly who would take the role but I doubt it would evolve.
  6. Nutty if MA takes control we will lose eventually trust me.
  7. I don't think so. MA would be a mess. He has tried to get into football before, he is a chance. People in USA are on the edge with his financial position. He's not a maverick nor instigator. He will come out on top whatever
  8. This club would be worse of without them. How we move on is worrying. Good or bad
  9. I don't think we should ever acuse Delia and Michael of scheming money. They only want the best for this club. Football decisions will grade them. With Stuart it is classed as a fail. From what I hear MA is no better than what Ipswich have currently as owners. Another money man
  10. I think it's deeper than the shortage up front. Watched a couple of games(tv) with a top manager and he quietly has reservations. Although he said he doesn't know the internal dynamics.
  11. Unfortunately we've invested poorly in players. We have been a top flight side two of the last four years. If we had spent 15m on a striker this season and he was average at best, would we be happy that we spent 15m? Football is a gamble. I know this first hand. The owners of this club need advice, unfortunately we do not know wether it is down to board or DOF. Stuart should break ranks. Money (board), recruitment DOF. There is a conflict within the club, be honest and perhaps we will flourish.
  12. Think you summed it up LDC. Don't know about you, but can't remember a more toothless display.
  13. I would love it if Stuart and his team put us in the position of Brighton. Maybe he has asked for funds like Ashworth was given, but been pushed back. This is where I would like him to be honest. If he has not been given the green light, let the world know.
  14. Do you think MA really wants Webber to be his man? More goes on behind football doors than we are privy to. I do know for a fact Chelsea never had Webber in mind. Comolli always had his entourage, but sooner our later you have to be your own man. I really appreciate what Stuart and the board have given us over the last few seasons, but time is for change. It may not always be for the better?
  15. Best time to play them. They've done well, just imagine if we beat them now.
  16. Midfield, nice individually but both left footed. Shape and movement of the ball slows due to this. Defence , not as bad as any other team, but in front of them there is not a playmaker. Push Sara up and bring in Forshaw with Kenny. Today Wagner was to blame for me.
  17. I always admire your optimism and vaild points. But I think the club needs a change in football delivery. Some may blame finance, which in part is true. But today we got hammered by a club that broke their transfer record tune of 1m x2. Webber has given us two fantastic seasons, but he needs to let the new football lead take over. Good teams at this level can produce on a budget. End of an era for me.
  18. I thought the DLF was Derby Lunatic Fringe, not Double Lense Firm.
  19. Really good player. For me one of the players that are a dead cert. Last couple of seasons covering frailties in other areas. Adds drive to our game.
  20. I think you're right. They'll still be a hard to beat. We need to keep plugging away with our own style seen last Saturday and hopefully it will pay off. If we lose, keep the faith in tactics.
  21. Hope they do. The standard of football has improved, but I would enjoy football more if it was in the 70's and 80's. Time they got the World League sorted.
