It's frankly a stupid assessment. When it's close, and everyone can beat everyone, most say it's poor. When in-fact its competitive. How can one of the best and most supported professional leagues in the world be poor, when it's so competitive? Competition drives standards up, does it not? It's a fantastic league with loads of quality.

'Celebrating a draw'

I think United fans about to celebrate a draw too! -
I mean tbh, it’s a complete **** up by ITFC and the authorities. How on earth could they not have foreseen that? More police escort for the Ipswich home coach which was in no danger whatsoever. What would be good, if the guy is as class and decent as many suggest, Is McKenna to condemn the behaviour.

TWTD - You horrible lot

I must have imagined the stuff thrown at the Norwich players after our equaliser… TBH, it’s an absolutely terribly idea putting home fans underneath away fans, like that. Normally the away bit stretches further on the lower section doesn’t it? -
Rowe - A conundrum?
Creedence Clearwater Couto replied to Yellow Fever's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
No one is denying he isn’t a quality footballer. It’s how and where to play him to maximise his attributes. Part of the reason we struggle to control games is we have two ball playing central midfielders who look to play progressive football, but it doesn’t work well with very direct attacking midfielders who don’t look to hold the ball and pass and move, like Rowe, Sainz and Hernandez. Imagine Buendia, Cantwell and Dowell in front of Sara and Nunez.. I think Rowe and Sainz are better suited to a 4-3-3. I think Rowe is quality. But the question raised does highlight the imbalance we have. -
Rowe - A conundrum?

I get the point you’re making. His overall game needs work.. he’s not someone who links play very well, which can be a problem when we need an outlet. But my word, if played to his strengths, he’s so effective. He wants to take one or two touches and smash it towards goal..and his shooting ability is class. Sainz, looks similar actually. -
'Celebrating a draw'

I think with us being mid table and the overall performances being generally unconvincing, the thing that’s made me happy most today is the thought of Ipswich fans being disappointed and pissed off. It would be nice if we had a bit more to cheer about.. over the last few years it’s been great beating them, but I’ve never been as bothered about how they feel like I have today. I’m not putting a downer on it. But when I think why I feel happy this eve, it isn’t because I’m particularly proud or ecstatic about our performance or future prospects, but just that Ipswich fans feel a bit **** and relived we didn’t embarrass ourselves losing heavily. -

Let’s be honest, maintaining that unbeaten run means something. It hurts them, and we love it. But the fact of the matter is, that’s all we have to really cling onto this season. Which is disappointing. We should be much closer to them, the gap between us is a clear reflection of how poor this clubs been run in the last 3 years. -
Funny how you ignored me for a while when it started to look more likely 😉😘 Still stand by the prediction. Ok, the points total suggested, was a bit extreme. But the suggestion our form was about to fall off a cliff was proved correct. I think the board and Knapper want Wagner to have the season, to buy time to implement more long term strategies in the summer. But equally, we can’t throw away the opportunity that is still there for a promotion challenge this season. Today was the start of a tough run. Wagner could very quickly be back in the post Blackburn position. I think having Sage back is key.

What do we do about Wagner? The gap between us and them today was clear for all to see. I don’t care how he got that point today, but under him we’re not going to progress. We have some very good players mixed into a very unbalanced squad with no defined strategy. But you can’t sack him based on recent results. January is a big opportunity for us to get in the 2 or 3 players we need that could transform this side. What’s Knapper thinking?

Barnes getting a bit of stick
Creedence Clearwater Couto replied to Satriales's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
He literally has no time on the ball. He isn’t a ball player.. he’s a forward that excels in a team on the front foot. He had a chemistry with Sargent… You have to understand the player Barnes is.. he’s getting criticism for the player fans think he should be.
