The real question is this…
Chelm Canary replied to Canary Jedi's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
What's obvious is what happens on the pitch. Future benefactors and top 26 don't matter when you're pitch side watching your team lose 7-0. I don't disagree with you for a minute, but you're putting far too much faith in the fan base if you expect it to continue. -
The ***official*** Farke out poll
Chelm Canary replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
You've made the point a few times, but I don't see this level of performance being allowed to continue for the remainder of the season. It's simply dire and unsustainable for any manager. The promotion party of 22/23? I'm not seeing that now. -
The ***official*** Farke out poll
Chelm Canary replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
At half time it was said Norwich have take 2 points from 57 available in the premier League. That's now 2 from 60. It worked for a while and now it isn't. That's it. -
It’s scary how much we’ve regressed
Chelm Canary replied to BigGrantsTash's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think some of the shock comes from the fact that we are in it. -

A few of my friends are Chelsea fans. One just mentioned on the group chat directed to myself "I honestly didn't know you were this bad' -
Bassong - The man of my dreams...

Just Paper Talk Or Has It Got Legs ?
Chelm Canary replied to TIL 1010's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
If things continue in this vain and Gilmour continues to get little to no game time then yeah I reckon there is a very good chance he will be recalled. They will want to send him somewhere else. I reckon a championship club if it does happen. I do hope he comes good here though. -
Ricardo's report v Brighton
Chelm Canary replied to ricardo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
There wasn't enough contact for Maupay to go down. My guess is he got greedy and was looking for the penalty and the red card for krul. He should have just put it in the net but I'm glad he didn't. -
Ricardo's report v Brighton
Chelm Canary replied to ricardo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I'd argue that Sargent's second half chance was easier than the first half one. A striker without a premier League goal, surprisingly recieving the ball slightly wide but through, not even the keeper to beat and a lot of time to think about it. The miss almost seemed inevitable given our luck in front of goal this season, but you have to score those at this level. You have to score both. -
Bringing on Rupp was a strange one for me. The game was not crying out for that change.
-
What was Sargent thinking?
Chelm Canary replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I put that down to players struggling hugely with confidence. Im no happy clapper but don't want to make matters worse by getting on a players back. -
His Name is Rio and
Chelm Canary replied to Thirsty Lizard's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Seems to be a conflict of interests here. He's using his platform as a pundit in order to drum up business for himself. Controversial. -
Yeah but is the club going to make him stay and pay his salary for another year if he's unwilling to play for the club?
-
This is what i'm worried about. As time drags on its looking more likely than Cantwell will be leaving for free. That's about 20 million (at least) lost if that happens.
-
What's happening with Cantwell? He does still play for this club.
-
There was a time when it would have been very difficult for him but not so much now I would like to think. We've come a long way. Having said that I don't believe racism will ever be completely wiped out unfortunately. There will always be some. I can see this topic going about 20 pages long so I won't be commenting beyond this.

Expected Goals (Points) Table Updated
Chelm Canary replied to hogesar's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Reads to me like the "expected" was created after the 'actual' -
Serious question, if we had a gay player...
Chelm Canary replied to TeemuVanBasten's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I would say to come out yeah. Lead the way. I would definitely advise to come off social media. It's generally a draw for the those with a lower than average IQ. -
Punishment for the elite 6
Chelm Canary replied to Making Plans's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Must likely outcome is probably a meagre fine. Most likely an amount that these clubs leave laying around in drawers. Can't see the top 6 getting point deductions. -
Positives only from Yesterday?
Chelm Canary replied to Michael Starr's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Normann was our best player yesterday in my opinion. He's looking like our best signing of the bunch. Not much else to say that's positive about yesterday. Nobody should feel positive about losing. -
Roy Hodgson can save us!
Chelm Canary replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yes hopefully he can replicate his achievements from the world cup 2014 -
The biggest sharks around? You seriously learned that terminology in translation from Greek to English? Those are some adept translations. You're not Greek.
-
Might be a good place to stop.
-
No attempt to even hide that English is this individuals first language and very likely his only language. Fluent in **** too actually so I stand corrected.
