1. GJL, re. your first post (before the game): great call. you got that 100% right. He took absolutely no nonsense.
2. absolutely superb! Didn''t think it possible that we could play so well on such an enormous occasion. Fantastic reaction from the players and staff after. Just loved staring at the TV screen at the faces and the hugs. We seemed to impress all the pundits too. Ref had a great game too. Had total confidence in him from pretty early on. For once, no nagging worry that the ref could just spoil things. today and last few months has added something extra even compared to the elation and success under PL. Great fans, great club and great Alex Neil.
3. so in your scenario, Lappinitup, both us and ''Boro will lose at CR on Friday :) If we lose our last 4 fixtures, we''ll be behind both Bournemouth and ''Boro at least, for sure. Get your drift, though.
4.
Thursday''s the day at Colney - they do 11v11 with the planned starting line up for Saturday making up one of the teams. This morning the set up was Whittaker in the middle alongside Tettey with Dorrans out on the left. Martin was playing right back with R Bennett partnering Bassong at CH.
Now you''ve got us all worried, Ruthers1. Maybe the starting 11 will be the other 11 Lol
5. Tuesday night: derby v ''Borough - something has to ''give'' there; Bournemouth and Watford away to Cardiff and Wigan, who both will be buoyed by significant victories today ( the latter 2 that is) . Then ''borough meet Bournemouth next sat; derby have to visit wolves Friday night, and watford entertain Ipswich Another game goes past without a Johnson booking. We are only 3 behind and plenty of games coming up between rivals. Then there is our awesome away form too. I''m sure I''d be feeling pretty sick if I had been at CR today, but still all to play for. Hope that is a thick enough silver lining, Joe.
6. Vow, thanks for taking the time to post your thoughts on the game. It''s always good, as an ''exile'' to get a fan''s view of a game. You provide a clear overview of the main stages of the game, and add your take on the roles and current states of mind / form of Johnson and Redmond. Most appreciated. Hope it''s not too long before you get a chance to get to another away game.
7. missed a lol after load of old squit''s comment - very funny
8. "Load of old squit" - yet it''s the time of season when those at the bottom of premiership start to realise their days are probably numbered, and look enviously at those at the top of the championship knowing they will be trading places and stealing the limelight. There''s no answer to it.
9. only 1 wrong, making plans and Watford still dropped points.
10. Came on to talk about our match, then Birmingham produce an almighty injury time comeback. perfect afternoon with a most unexpected twist. A big downer for Derby. Thank you Birmingham
11. After all that, similar feeling to us playing and winning today. 3 games now in 6 days - wonder how we''ll be feeling this time next week, and how the table might look.
12. Every time I scroll down the scores, my eye keeps on catching Bolton 1-0 and momentarily I think it''s the Bournemouth game. 2 more months of this! nerve jangling, but we love it. 90 mins 0-0
13. Well done Fulham. They haven''t done anything this season. Wasn''t expecting much from them today; but they have done us proud. Certainly would take the 3 defeats, especially the top 2
14. Bent off injured for Derby; replaced by 3rd sub. Hopefully injury nothing too serious; just a niggle that lingers for a month or so. Damn you Leeds. I suppose it can''t all go our way. Top 2 and Brentford losing still a major plus
15. OMG now ''Boro are behind. I''m nearly as nervy as i am when we are actually playing. Blow that final whistle! and Bournemouth haven''t even reached half-time.
16. Re: ITFC ticket appropriate use of the former owner''s name. Thought it read cobbled old stand at first glance. £43 quid certainly a bit steep for that. I like the mention of ''clear view'' as if it''s some kind of luxury feature (or maybe it''s a warning) The obstructed view tickets probably don''t mention the view.
17. Ginja, so where were you when you finally realised (I guess at HT)? did you consider a mad dash to the ground at all? could you have caught the final few minutes?
18. You Can''t see us losing another. Well you''ve got us down to lose on Tuesday if we have 20pts from 10!
19. (Lol. If anyone knows about Parking a bus, it''s you, Butler. "I''ll get you Butler") I will stick my neck out and go for a goals galore 4-1 once the bus is moved.
20. To be fair, I did conveniently overlook the fact that Roeder reinstated NA a few weeks later. To Barclay seats 3rd - I live in Kalasin province in the north-east, and I also spend a lot of time in Trat province (in the east) for work.
21. Wow! "He''ll never coach anything better than under 10s"- must have been going through his head as the 2nd half was panning out.
22. LOL! Very funny little anecdote. great way to "put down" Mike the Ipswich fan. Priceless! ( Nearly missed the punch line with all the computer code Internet explorer spouted out) Had to look up Errol Crossan. I am too young (nearly 50)
23. Maybe a chance to see mcGrandles if he''s not in the 1st team plans for today and Saturday, as well as possibly the over-aged Howson and Hooper.
24. Colney 1pm (just spotted it mentioned at end of report of last Friday''s game canaries.co.uk)
