Garden product related to Norwich City

Recommended Posts

Crafty Canary has suggested that now the long summer evenings are at hand, the sales of garden candles for illumination and warmth as the evening turns chilly will increase. The City shops could offer a Delia garden candle that will spread her light and warm nature to gardens across the county. She could offer a barbeque food range to sell alongside them.

We could go for a whole range of garden products :

Here in France there is a chain of garden suppliers called "Gamm Vert" (Green Label) . Their 30 litre bags of garden compost are sold in a sack which is a big green writing on yellow plastic.

So , when Mrs Pickles wants to do all the potting of her summer plants, you can bet where I source my compost for her pots ....!

A number of their other products are packaged similarly.

There is already a Norwich City garden gnome!

Mine was bought for me by a couple of Norwich supporting friends shortly after our relegation to League 1.

Norman, as he was called, sat in my garden and brought us nothing but good luck.

Sadly Norman passed away in April during a thunderstorm, shortly after we had reached Premiership safety.

It could be coincidence but we then went on a poor run. Does anyone know if the club shop still sells gnomes - our place in the Premiership could depend on it!

We had a garden gaffer gnome dropped of on our doorstep last year which we have been fostering ever since so they were still breeding up until then.

And you have the nerve on another thread to say it is best to ignore Bullyboys as they have nothing worthwhile to say. The irony of this tosh is not lost on me.[:''(]

Many years ago a neighbour used to have a garden gnome in the likeness of PC Plod, but it disappeared rather sharpish one summer weeekend after the other neighbours dog started making  nightly visits to relieve itself.

Ironic that I should remember that.

Crafty Canary is offering the club an idea for a new line of merchandise. As a super member and shareholder he obviously expects no commission on sales related to this wonerful idea. He would also suggest the club introduce the Delia Christmas tree candle later in the year. Poor old Plod he is devoid of ideas. Valueless!

Who put salt in the sugar bowl? Who put fireworks in the coal?
Who put a real live toad-in-the-''ole? My brother!

Who put jam in mother''s shoe? Who made real caterpillar stew?
Who locked Grandad in the loo?... My brother!

My brother said it wasn''t he, who put shampoo in Grandma''s tea
My brother said that it was me – my brother''s rotten.

Who squeezed toothpaste round the hall? Who put soot in the baby''s
ball?
Who drew things on the garden wall?... My brother!

Maybe you and Crafty should manufacture some Robert Chase ornaments for the garden.  You''d sell millions - after all, it would never be cloudy in anyone''s garden again as the sun would always be shining out of the ornament''s ar$e.  You could then buy the club from Delia and show us how it should be done.  Everyone''s a winner.

Maybe old Bob could get his face on some packs of Suttons seeds.  Actually it''s a cr ap idea, we wouldn''t make any money as Bob would guarantee not to sell any packets before the start of next season[;)]

But they do  not stock  Delia candles. Let there be light!  You are showing your lack of business acumen again.

Why bring the Chairman who oversaw the most successful on field period of this club''s history into the merchandising range? Would the club be able to keep up with the demand?

What''s happened to you Intangible?

Way back when some of your posts weren''t bad, but boy have you been infected, the disease has spread and it''s getting worse.  Quarantine can be the only answer[Y]
