I personally would think under Lambert he could be a hell of a lot better than he''s shown at Leicester and he has scored goals in the Premier League with Everton. Knowing Lamberts knack of getting the best out of players and seeing that he has plucked 2 ex Leeds players in last 2 windows and has showed interest in Snodgrass last summer is it possible?

No. He needs a dozen chances before he''ll put one away, and if Moyes didn''t think he was up to it after his short stint at Everton I doubt Lambert will either.

Leeds fan I know says he''s a very lazy player who can''t be bothered to track back much, and that''s the impression I have formed of him.

 

So can''t see him being a Lambert type of player.

I''d be very disappointed if Beckford joined, big ego, not really that good. And would probably cost £3-4 million because he is very overrated and over costed. Luckily I think were more likely to sign Beckham than Beckford.

Years ago, I saw him play many times at my “other” team Wealdstone in the Ryman Premier League and he was outstanding at that level. I would love to see him play for Norwich but this is heart ruling head here! Maybe he’s at the right level now, but if anyone could get the absolute best out of a player it would be Lambert and his coaching team so who knows?
