To be fair, we have already got 3 live games on Sky within a month.

I thought that was the point of it being on the Thursday night though, or was there another reason?

Only MOTD Live I can see is the League Cup final (although that''s only up to March)

The 4-1 was on bbc if I remember, and they did a regular game each week. But not sure, if that died a death. Hasn''t it become the case in recent seasons that Carrow Road gets the game and not Portman Road. anything, to do with them not filling their ground?

The BBC get 10 Championship games a year and had a strategy of showing derby games in the first half of the season, and will now start to focus on top of the table games towards the end of the season. Norwich v Ipswich probably won''t get a look in, as although it is a big derby Ipswich won''t be troubling the play-offs at the end of the season.

Might also be because the game is scheduled for a Thursday so it would be difficult to move to a time that either Sky or BBC would show it due to other fixtures

Think it was switched to stop the game having to be played on Easter Sunday or Good Friday , a bank holiday game would have meant double time for the coppers .

I''m glad the Ipswich game isn''t on Sky, we play better when we''re not on there[:D]

Hopefully there will be a live stream. I''m a season ticket holder but have only made it to 3 away games, am I right in saying I will struggle in getting a ticket?

Remaining televised games (all Sky):Bristol City (H) Monday 14/3, 7.45Swansea (A) Saturday 9/4, 5.20Forest (H) Friday 15/4, 7.45canary_girl, you''ll be in (I imagine) a heavily oversubscribed ballot, so a matter of luck...

To save on Police overtime - double on bank holidays isn''t it?

It''s a real pain having our fixtures move to suit to TV coverage. I''m struggling to get time of work to make the Forest game now bloody Sky have got it moved. The next Football League TV contract is up for grabs to cover matches from season 2013-14. One package is to screen 10 live Championship games on THURSDAY NIGHTS. So plenty of being messed around to look forward to.

Game was originally on the Saturday but as usual the Police didn''t want it played at 3pm on a Saturday, because it''s Easter weekend and there is a full fixture list on the Monday afternoon they couldn''t move it to the Sunday so moved it to the Friday. We can only assume the Police realised how much it would cost to Police the game on Good Friday so moved it again to the Thursday night which they see as a lower risk as they assume fans will be working most of the day so won''t have time to get tanked up.
